ToughGirl vs. StupidJonouchi

{Yugi's Pov}

I stir. Mm, I'm awake. I open my eyes and look at the clock. Hmm, it...10:50!!! Omigod, I'm late!

I shoot up and quickly get out of bed. I run to my closet and find my school uniform. Why didn't Jii-chan (Grandpa) wake me up? Why didn't anyone wake me up? Kami-sama (God) I have to hurry. I run hay wire everywhere in the house to get reading.

Once I'm done getting ready, I run to my room pick up my millennium puzzle, take my bag, and run out of the shop.

(Hikari? Are you being chased again?!)

((No Yami. I'm late for school!))

(Why does that matter?)

((Because my teacher is going to kill me))

(I won't let them. No one hurts my hikari)

I almost trip with the statement my Yami said. He still doesn't understand anything about my school? I bet he goes to sleep. Boy I wish I could do that.

((Yami, they won't literally kill me. I'll just be in trouble))

(Fine Hikari, do well in this 'school')

I run into the school and then realize that it's 3rd period. I have to go to Conflict Resolution {Now hear this I don't know what that class really means so I just made this up if it's true then yay me! ^_^} with Sensei Takashi.

It's my favorite class. Sensei Takashi is very lazy and doesn't care about what the students are doing. One time I remember two students actually had sex on her desk while she was sleeping. I personally ran to the bathroom until my friend, Ryou, came to tell me it was safe.

Another reason I like that class is because all my friends are in the same class. That's right Jonouchi, Ryou, Malik, and Honda are all in my class. The part I don't like is that inhuman girl, Miss Friendship Anzu, is in the same class.

I hear that the most serious Sensei, Sensei Goturia, was put in a mental institution after going to Anzu's house for a talk. She even irritates Seto Kaiba, the most coldest guy in the school. She just have a thing with calling everything "Friendship" it is so annoying.

I even heard from Malik that Marik tried to kill her by pushing her off a 200 {I wanted it to seem very painful. Bwhahaha!} story building. She then ran back up to the top and told Marik.

"Breaking all the bones in your body is like friendship!"

She came out alive! Doesn't that seem impossible! She's still alive after falling that much! Everybody hates her. She gives all of us a headache and not only that but she is in love with...

"Hey Yug!" I turn around and see my best friend Jonouchi Katsuya. He runs up to me with a grin. "So why is the early bird so late?" Does he find me being late amusing? I don't.

"Come on, man. We have to go to class. Doubt Sensei Takashi will even notice." I nod. Jonouchi walks me to class.

Once in I see my other close friends Bakura Ryou, Ishtar Malik, Honda Hiroto, and to my surprise Kaiba Seto. Jonouchi pushes me to the group.

"Hey, guys. Look who decided to show." Jonouchi says to the group they all looks and smile. "Yup, all our guesses were wrong." Guesses? They guessed? Wait! What DID they guess?!!

"Hello, Yugi," My 2nd closes friend, Ryou, says. Seto just looks at me with his arms cross over his chest.

"Hello, little man," My other friend Malik says. Malik seems to be just as crazy as his Yami, Marik. He always seems to talk to people in a seductive yet mad way. It sometimes creeps me out.

"Hey, Yug. Why you so late? If I remember right 'you' were always complaining about us being late." Honda stats. It's true Jonouchi, Malik, and Honda always seem like they're going to make everybody late. I normally argue that they should sleep earlier.

"Oh yeah, well you see..." I stutter but then Jonouchi interrupts me.

"Oh hey did you guys hear? Kinitu-kun, Jumira-kun, and Santuya-kun all got their ass fucking kicked yesterday!" Jonouchi says to everybody. Well of course I knew I witnessed it. I even got hurt because of it. I move my hand to my stomach to feel the bruise that grew there.

"Yugi, do you have a stomachache?" Ryou asks me. I shake my head. I don't want my friends to know. I hate worrying them with my injuries.

"Yug, is something wrong?" Jonouchi asks me. I don't want to tell them. They'll worry. I should just keep it inside.

{Ryou's Pov}

Yugi is acting strange and if I know my little friend, which I do, he's hiding something from us. I wonder what it is?

/Why don't you persuade him to tell you, Hikari?/

My Yami. Bakura. Oh God is he hot. Of course I'm not telling him that. I'm way to shy. And why would my Yami want someone as weak and fragile as me, when he's so strong and tough. My Yami is always protecting me I just can't help but feel an attraction to him. I hope there's nothing wrong with that but why would there be? I mean isn't wrong to love a guy, right? Oh well, I'll think about it later.

//Yami, I'm not like that. I don't want to push Yugi to do anything.//

"Yugi, what's wrong?" That's not pushing, right? Yugi looks at me and smiles but I know he's forcing that smile. Something happened to him.

"Nothing, Ryou." He says in a soft manner. That won't work Yugi. I stand up and go up to Yugi. Not to seem suspicious I only smile at him and stand next to him. As quickly as I could I lift his school uniform shirt only to look at his stomach and I find a huge bruise on it.

"Yugi!" I can't believe the size of this bruise not only that but it's black and blue and also swollen. Who did this to him? Everybody else in the group comes to examine the bruise too. While Jonouchi and Honda-kun get very upset.

"Yug, who did this to you. I'll pound whoever did this to my buddy." Jonouchi says while he punches his palm. Honda does the same.

"It's just bruise. It's nothing." Yugi tries to make us not worry but he's got to realize that we know him to well to fall for that.

"Nothing, man. It's swollen!" Malik complains. He might not show it but Malik can worry about his friends more than me. True he's crazy enough to get revenge but still worries about his friends. I should know he's been my friend my whole life.

"It's nothing. I just fell." Yugi is trying to convince us not to care? Oh no this is not from a fall. This is from a punch or kick worse if it was a knee.

"Yugi, who did this to you?" I ask. My concern is always heard and I know for a fact Yugi can't lie when he hears it. He sighs.

"After school, I was chased by Kinitu, Jumira, and Santuya-kun..." Yugi was interrupt again. Jonouchi needs to learn how to say "Excuse me" when he's going to do that.

"Oh so Yami 's the one who kick their ass." I see Yugi shakes his head. Then what did happen.

"Yami was knocked out before he could do anything..." All of us have shock all over out our faces. Yami? The Pharaoh Yami was knocked out before he could do anything? Hard to believe but if that's what Yugi says.

"He was knocked out by a girl. I thought she was their friend but in the end she beats them all up." Yugi seemed to think more about what happened.

"I didn't get her name, but it seems that she knows Yami and that he was a Pharaoh." That's strange nobody should know about any of our Yamis except our friends. Who is this girl?

"Three good fighters beaten by a girl? I don't believe it." Honda proclaimed. Jonouchi nodded. I may believe. I don't know. I'm not really an expert on fighters.

"Hey speaking of girls, have you guys heard about that new chick in school...uh Hido-kun. I think that was it." Malik says to all of us. Both Honda and Jonouchi nod. I've heard about her around the school but never seen her with my own eyes.

"I wouldn't want to meet her if I were you. Of course I'm not. I've met her and she likes to fight. She is strong, even stronger than you, mutt." Kaiba says. Wait. He knows Hido-kun? Is he dating her?

"What'd you say, Kaiba?!" Jonouchi I know wanted to hurt Kaiba. It's always like that with them. To my surprise Malik goes in between them.

"Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. Hang on, pup. Kaiba, you know Hido-kun?" Malik asks. I start tending to Yugi's wound thinking that if he didn't want to show us he probably didn't show his grandfather either.

"Yes," Seto simply stats. "I met her like a week ago," He adds. This Hido-kun...I hope she's nice.

"Hey Kaiba are you dating her?" Malik asks. Malik not like me likes to pry into other people's lives. I don't do that. I look at Kaiba and see him shake his head. So they're not dating.

Suddenly the door opens and Sensei Takashi immediately wakes up. Then a girl walks in the room and starts looking at all of us. I wonder who this girl is?

"Oh yeah it's you." Sensei Takashi says to the girl. The girl then nods. "Right, class. This is a new student to Domino High, Hido Yuji." Sensei Takashi says to all of us. I see Yugi stiffen. I wonder what's wrong now?

{Yugi's Pov}

Oh no. It's that girl from last night. She really is from my school. She looks around until I see that she spots someone and for some reason walks towards our group.

"Hello." She simply says to us. What if she decides to hurt me now. If Jonouchi gets mad, what if she hurts him?

"Hello, Hido-kun." Ryou says to her. Should I tell them? I don't know if I should. She then looks at me. I stiffen but she smiles at me.

"Hey, little guy. How's your bruise?" Wait. Hold on. She 's concerning over me? Wasn't this the girl who knocked out my Yami, and said he was a Pharaoh. Why would she be concerning?

"It's fine." I say. I don't get it. This is Hido-kun? Actually Malik `s right she does look nice. She has long dark hair, tie back with ponytail, blond bangs, and nice looking purple eyes. It looks much better then when I saw her in the dark.

"Wait! Hold the phone. You know Yugi?" Malik asks her. She then turns her head to look at Malik.

"Yugi. Is that his name? Well I kinda met him last night." She stats. She looks at Kaiba and gives him a face. "Hello, Seto. How are you this morning?" She asks Kaiba. I hear Kaiba give an irritated growl and then Hido-kun laughs out.

"How'd you meet Yug yesterday?" Jonouchi asks her. This isn't good. She'll tell them.

"Uh well I was walking down the street by myself and then I saw these two guys bulling Yugi. I see another guy and thought he was going to punch Yugi. So I knocked him out." That's it. That's everything.

"Wait your the one who knocked Yami out?!" Jonouchi practically yells at her. She nods. I look at Jonouchi and see him get angry.

"You knocked out the wrong guy." Jonouchi I think was being controlled by his anger because I see him try and punch Hido-kun in the face but she blocks and the way she does it, it looks simple. She blocks and punches Jonouchi hard in the gut.

"Why you!" Jonouchi says and I bet out of breathe because he is already gasping! He tries to punch her again but this time in the stomach. She moves out of the way and kicks his back so he rams into the wall.

"Your obviously no match for me, mutt. Stop trying or you'll get hurt." She smirks. She kinda seems like Kaiba but he never hurts Jonouchi physical only emotional. Jonouchi is being held back by Honda and Malik. I bet both knowing that Jonouchi shouldn't mess with her.

She is strong. Kaiba was right, even stronger then Jonouchi. I wonder how she turned out that way.

[After School]

I walk back to the shop. I check my mindlink with Yami and find out that he's still asleep. I guess school was extra boring for him too.

I'm finally at the shop and go in. I look for Jii-chan but I can't find him. I look all over the shop until I notice the little sign on the door says `CLOSED'. Jii-chan never closes this early. I wonder what happened.

I go upstairs, to the apartment part of the shop. Once I'm there I see Jii-chan on the couch. He looks sad. What happened? He never looked this sad before.

"Jii-chan are you ok?" I ask. Jii-chan slowly moves his head up to look up at me. Proof of shed tears could be seen. He was crying? Why? Did something happen? He smiles at me but I don't like it because it's a sad smile.

"Yugi, we need to talk."
