Psycho: Hello and WELCOME to our new and should I say, rather pointless fic! ^_^

 

F_D_C2003 (a.k.a. Fire_Demon_Cat2003): Yeah! This time, we were extremely bored and got into the subject of procrastinating.... and Mr. Kaiba over here, said that we were the best at that, so we are going to prove him wrong!

 

Psycho: Such a mistake to make, Mr. Kaiba. Tsk, tsk. ANYWAY! As you can probably tell from the title, Kaiba Seto himself has decided to do the unthinkable - hire us. So before you read on, I must warn you…. CAUTION: Havoc ensues!

 

FDC: *DUN DUN DUUUUUN!!!!!*

FDC: =_= fine! Don't appreciate classic sound effects!

 

Psycho: e_e Ok enough of this, I think we should begin.

Chapter One: Desperate Times call for Desperate Measures

Kaiba: *pacing up and down in his office looking stressed and bored* I have GOT to get some new employees… Kaiba Corporation will go bankrupt if I don't! *stresses* O.O *thinks* Who can I get...? *strains* I could get...no… that wouldn't work… That person wouldn't be reliable enough....

 

~* A girl with brown hair and bright blue eyes walks into the room, obviously Kaiba's personal assistant *~

 

PA: Mr. Kaiba, there are two young ladies in the lobby to see you, should I send them up?

 

Kaiba: *snaps back to reality* Huh? Oh, yes, yes. *mumbles to self* Maybe I can see if they are worthy for a job; I'm getting desperate at this point...

 

PA: Is that all then, sir? Can I get you a coffee? Or a magazine? Perhaps a shoulder-rub?

 

Kaiba: No thank you, Anzu. *rubs temples and attempts to calm himself* Send them up.

 

~* Meanwhile in the lobby the two said ladies and are waiting in the lobby with a rather bitchy receptionist *~

 

Receptionist: *in monotone* Just fill out these forms and when you're done, take a seat and wait. Mr. Kaiba's personal assistant will be here soon. *chews on gum*

 

Psycho: *squints at name-tag on receptionist* Okay, thanks… Mia?

 

FDC: -_- are you schizophrenic? It's says “Mai”

 

Psycho: Don't you mean dyslexic? And no, I'm not. Or am I…? *hears her yami bitching and kicking things around in her soul room* -_-;

 

FDC: Whatever. *takes forms* Come on. *starts writing them out*

 

Psycho: O.o *reads over it* What qualities do I have?

 

FDC: You're good with kids!

 

Psycho: No I'm not!

 

FDC: Ok… uhh you've got good organizational skills… AND you know how to get what you want!

 

Psycho: Yay! *ticks boxes on form* XD What about you? What kind of good qualities do YOU have?

 

FDC: Um.... I.... I'm smart!

 

Psycho: You say that, yet you can't seem to tell the difference between a dyslexic and a schizoid... You might be a little better off with kids.

 

FDC: I am so smart! 2+2 = 4!!

 

Mai: *listening to the two decide on their 'best' qualities* Strange…

 

Anzu: *walks in* Hi!! When you are finished filling out your form-a-ma-bobbies you can go see Mr. Kaiba! ^0^

 

FDC & Psycho: O.o

 

FDC: Man. The old boy must be extremely desperate to hire this girl…

 

Psycho: O_O You got that right.

 

Anzu: Come on up and I'll show you the way! Mr. Kaiba will be glad to meet you both! ^_^

~* Anzu leads the two girls up to the very top floor of the KC building and knocks on Kaiba's door *~

 

Anzu: Mr. Kaiba, sir? ^_^

 

Kaiba: *is rather busy* >.>what?

 

Anzu: Your candidates are here! Should I bring them in? ^_^

 

Psycho: *whispers to FDC* Her smiling is really getting on my nerves…

 

Kaiba: *busts open the door and grabs them both* Come right on in!

 

Psycho & FDC: ((O_O))

 

Anzu: *still standing in the doorway like the dumbest thing ever* ^_^

 

Kaiba: You can leave now!

 

Anzu: ^_^ *blinks* Ok!! *leaves*

 

Psycho: Weird.

 

Kaiba: Hello, how are you two ladies on this day?

 

Both: O.O

 

Psycho: *kinda drools* Fine…

 

Mokuba: *walks in* Here are the applications that you asked for, nii-sama.

 

Kaiba: Thank you Mokuba. I trust you have already met my younger brother, Mokuba Kaiba?

 

FDC & Psycho: -_-

 

FDC: Many times.

 

Psycho: Many, MANY times.

 

Mokuba: *smirk* It's going to be good having you work with us ^_~

 

Psycho: O.O okay…

 

Kaiba: Mokuba, you can leave now. One of these girls may very well be your next private tutor so buzz off.

 

Mokuba: O_O you're not serious!

 

FDC & Psycho: *wicked grin*

 

Kaiba: I am, now go. *turns to the girls* ….As you've noticed, things haven't been going well for this company as of late, however your assistance will greatly help.

 

Mokuba: *leaves muttering obscenities under his breath*

 

FDC: *whispers to Psycho* And here I thought he'd be spiteful and less... I don't know…

 

Psycho: *nods* I hear ya O.O

 

FDC: So… did you want to look at the forms we filled out?

 

Kaiba: Yes, of course! What else would you have filled them out for? Give them to me.

 

FDC & Psycho: *hand them over* o___O

 

Kaiba: Alright so, who is who here? *points to the blonde blue-eyed gal* You are?

 

FDC: O.O I'm F_D_C2003…

 

Kaiba: Ok. *looks at the brunette with green eyes* And so I'm assuming you are…

 

Psycho: *cuts him off* Psycho! :D

 

Kaiba: O_o Right. It says here that you are good with kids, FDC. Just HOW good…?

 

FDC: Uh.... well I seem to have good communication skills when it comes to them and I have a lot of patience. ^0^

 

Kaiba: Ok... and you... Psycho is it? *gives Psycho a strange look*

 

Psycho: ^^

 

Kaiba: It says here you have good organizational skills.

 

Psycho: Correct.

 

Kaiba: Just how good then?

 

Psycho: Well when you live with… *counts on her fingers* at least five hyperactive roommates - two of which are almost insane and rather psychotic - you need to have some sanity to keep them all under control! I can keep them all very well in check. I also know how to get what I want, withOUT blackmail!

 

Kaiba: *almost cringes* Sounds good… How would you feel about being my new PA?

 

Psycho: O.O I thought you already had one?

 

Kaiba: But she's annoying, as I can tell you already know.

 

Psycho: …… I'll have a think about it! *thinks* Alright, I'll do it! ^0^

 

Kaiba: -_- alright. FDC, would you like to tutor my brother? I don't like him being in public schools. It scares me.

 

FDC: I'm not quite sure how that will help your company but ok! ^^

 

Kaiba: Okay then its settled. You will also help other candidates that have applied for Kaiba Corporation by going over their CV's and interviewing them. You can both start tomorrow!

 

Psycho & FDC: Okay!

 

Kaiba: Just don't let there be any screw ups. I have no idea how you two work, and I… am desperate at this point. However, if you let that last part out to anyone, then your ass is grass. Got it?

 

FDC & Psycho: Yes sir!

 

Kaiba: Good. Then I will see the two of you tomorrow morning at 7.

 

~* Both girls get up and leave, and once at the lobby/entrance …*~

 

Psycho: *snickering as she passes by Anzu*

 

Anzu: Have a good day! ^_^ *goes upstairs back to Kaiba's office* Is there anything I can do for you si---

 

Psycho & FDC: *exit the KC building and hear something from the top floor…*

 

Kaiba: YOU'RE FIRED!!

 

Anzu: NNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!

 

Psycho: O.O FWAHAHAHAHA!! XD

 

FDC: -_-

 

Psycho: That's rich!

 

FDC: ^^;; Yeah. So what now?

 

Psycho: I don't know. I guess we prepare for tomorrow, ha! The guys will be so jealous!

 

FDC: Maybe now that YOU have a job and earn your own money, you will have a reason to charge them rent or something. XD

 

Psycho: Maybe…

 

FDC: …

 

Psycho: This is going to be the best fun ever! :D

 

~* Both walk down the road away from KaibaCorp toward home to prepare for the next day*~

Psycho: Well THAT was fun…

 

FDC: And it's about to get a lot better!

 

Psycho: Whoo hoo! *starts doing a rain dance*

 

FDC: *gets rained on* -_- okay well, sorry if this chapter bored you folks, but I promise it gets a lot more insane and scary in further chapters as more various Yu-Gi-Oh! characters are introduced.
