Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ The Exfoilation of Perenial Beings ❯ The end. ( Chapter 11 )
~ ~ ~
"I haven't quite decided yet, Yugi-kun. You see, I'm quite taken with you, so much so that I can think of almost nothing but you. Even covered in blood, your presence is enchanting beyond words. You smell of life, of innocence, and strangely, danger. It's fascinating. And I don't think you'd lose this fascination after hundreds of years…" a pale hand trailed down the smaller's chest.
Yugi felt his eyes widened. He smelt of innocence? Of life? What the fuck was Yami on?
"I think you need a new medication, Mr. Yami. Coffee isn't good for immortals." It was out his mouth before he could stop it. Stupid voice in the back of his head!
Someone coughed to cover up laughing; Yugi could tell it wasn't Jounouchi, which was odd, because that was a very insider joke between them.
Yami blinked and looked up. "What's so funny about that?"
A thicker accented voice than Yami's floated back, holding mirth and tones Yugi was familiar with distantly. "Basically he just said you should stop drinking coffee because it's fried all your brain cells."
"And the rest." Yugi added. He rolled his eyes mentally and kicked the little voice in his head in the balls. 'Shut up!' he told it. The little voice rolled around in pain.
The person laughing chuckled a few more times. "Yugi-sama, you shouldn't be so disrespectful to Yami-sama."
Yami looked back down at Yugi who was still busy mentally beating the shit out of the little voice in the back of his head. "You think I'm insane?"
Yugi nodded his head and looked up, alarming at how close their faces were. "I don't think you're insane I know you're insane, it's pretty obvious that you're bonkers. I mean; I smell of innocence and life? I've killed more, if not as many, as you probably have, just most of the ones I killed were undead so…" he trailed off glaring up at those plum orbs.
Yami snorted. "Not a few weeks ago you would never have said something so mean to me, Yugi-kun. What went wrong?"
"A few weeks ago I didn't know you were a fucking blood sucker!" Yugi spat. After hearing about Yugi's past, how could Yami not understand that the small form could never love such a monster?
Let alone let one fuck him.
"I never once threatened your life, Yugi-kun. I never once injured you when I held you in the most vulnerable embrace; doesn't that mean anything to you?"
Yugi glared up at Yami hatefully as the daggers in his chest twisted.
Everything the vampire said was true, and it only drove Yugi to the point of screaming in anguish as his morals and heart and head beat each other into bloodly metaphysical pulps.
He may have felt something for Yami in the few days they had gotten along.
May have felt a kinship in the vampire when he was simply accepted as being; scolded, but not turned away.
The way Yami had been able to almost bring him to the point of orgasm with only preparation.
The comfortableness of Yami's skin.
The way Yami talked…
The teasing jokes…
But these things had to change!
They didn't truly mean anything!
Yami had lied, and had pretended to be human!
These thoughts were like balls of lead in his stomach. They were the only things in his stomach, but yet still…
His heart constricted and his body ached at the tearing.
Vampire…He thought, remember 'vampire'?
The thought brought him down.
No matter his feelings, a few things were true.
"You. Are. A. Lying. Killing. Monster." He punctuated each word with a tensing in his body, letting Yami know, that if Jou and the shifter's lives didn't depend on his stillness he would be hitting the vampire.
Yami actually looked close to tears and he closed his plum eyes, hand trembling as he gently caressed the boy's chin. "If that's what you want me to be…" he whispered the words so softly, before he sat back up.
"Mai, kill the panda." He growled.
Yugi screamed; struggling against Yami in violent thrashes as the vampire announced this.
"NO!!!! Don't you dare!!!!!" He yelled.
The sword against his neck bit into his skin and his own blood trickled down his neck.
It didn't matter.
The only important thing was saving Ryo.
Somehow he managed to throw the vampire off and rolled to one side; grabbing his sword and standing, heart beginning to speed up as he accessed the situation.
Bakura was in full panther form and being pinned to the ground under five vampires, Jounouchi was on his knees, working arm twisted behind his back by Seto and Ryo was being advanced upon by a blond female vampire. The panda was lying unconscious where he had hit the lamp post.
Yugi was already running at the female vampire before he even blinked.
He got about two steps before Yami tackled him to the ground again.
"Yugi-kun!" He hissed; slamming Yugi's fist down in an attempt to take away the sword; the sword was held in a death grip, it wasn't coming lose.
Yugi didn't look at him, just kept thrashing and moving, trying to kick him off again and save the panda.
"Get off me!" He yelled; trying to roll again, still holding his death grip on the sword.
Yami growled more. "Mai, stop." He spoke.
The female vampire stopped moving and Yugi paused, breathing rapidly as he kept a close eye on what she did. She stood perfectly still like a Barbie doll awaiting commands.
The small human quieted, all but relaxing under Yami, but keeping the sword.
He liked the sword.
The sword was shiny.
Yami was panting softly; a tear had actually rolled down his cheek. "You don't care about yourself do you? You'll put yourself in more danger than you can obviously handle if it means you can die honorably. I know you feel something for me, you told me so, but the moment you find out I am a vampire… you act as if I am a true monster!" Yami's voice was so soft, as if he were daring Yugi to disprove him.
"All vampires are monsters." Yugi growled. "And you're too dangerous to be allowed to live. Anything that can roll me under could do a lot worse to normal people."
Yami growled again. "We're not getting any where with this are we?"
Yugi laughed softly. "Nothing will get anywhere until someone dies." His voice was cold and it held a hint of blood thirst.
Yami made his chest tight, and for that the vampire would have to die.
"Kuso, Yugi-kun! I don't want to hurt you nor your friends, don't you understand that? You're only in this position because you attacked me!"
Yugi shook his head. "No. You are a monster Mr. Yami. I don't need to listen to your lies."
Yami growled more in frustration this time. "What the hell do you want me to do?! I can't simply un-make what I am! Just as I can't simply let you go!"
Yugi looked away. The dagger in his heart felt like it was ripping a big hole. "Just die then." He whispered; he felt like he was fighting back tears as he spoke. There was a strong chance he was holding back tears too.
They were no longer struggling and yelling and screaming, well, at least Yugi wasn't. Right now, they were rationalizing or rationalizing as well as Yugi's simple 'vampire' logic could accommodate.
It was the rational part that hurt Yugi's chest the most.
Yami shook his head. "No. I haven't lasted this long by obeying everyone else's wishes."
Jounouchi made a soft groan, as if in extreme pain, breaking up their quiet atmosphere and the all but silence that had hung in the air. Yugi tried to see what had happened but Yami was in his way. The vampire also looked up obviously able to see what had happened from the shock that wrote itself across his face. "Kaiba! What are you doing?"
Someone coughed and muttered and Seto's voice floated across. "Nothing, Yami-sama. Shut up, Marik; what would you know? This isn't a comic!" he growled at the mutterer.
"Kami… if it's not one thing it's another. Why were you doing that?" Yami interrupted a squawk and a growl from whoever 'Marik' was.
Yugi tried to crane his neck to see what was going on but Yami shook his head, looking back down at the human. "You don't want to know." He said with a soft laugh.
Yugi frowned at him. "What's going on? What did he do to Jou?"
Yami shook his head with a cryptic smile. "Nothing. And he won't. Will you Kaiba?"
"But Yami-sama!-"
"No. He's an elf, Seto. There are laws that protect them from-"
"No biting…"
"…If you bite and he tells, you're in deep shit, you hear me?" Yami said disapprovingly but conceding it seemed.
Yugi was really intent on knowing what was going on now. "What the hell is he doing?"
"Hush, Yugi-kun. It's nothing."
"Nothing? After hearing that exchange? I don't believe you! And you said, if I stayed still you wouldn't hurt them, so why is he hurting Jou-kun?" Yugi pouted in an unknowingly cute way; glaring up at Yami who continued to obstruct his view.
Yami shook his head with another smirk. "See what you've done now, Kaiba?" He suppressed a laugh, looking back at the small form under him. "It's nothing Yugi-kun. Your friend isn't exactly in pain."
Yugi squirmed; he wanted to see what was going on worse now. Yami was laughing right out as he moved to stop the human seeing what was going. It was really amusing to see the teacher wriggling and squirming about as he tried to crane his neck back far enough to see.
The pair continued squirming and wriggling and looming and laughing for a good five minutes before Yugi finally slumped. "Bully." He muttered, pouting up at Yami.
Yami boinked the boy on the nose. "Kawaii."
Yugi blinked. Trying to frown, but the way their bodies were pressed now made it very hard. Their legs were jumbled and so interlocked it was hard to tell whose foot was whose. Yami had pried the sword from Yugi's hands and the tricoloured haired teacher's hands were interlocked with the vampire's. The two of them were so twisted that he was sure Yami's crotch was pressing against his own, a feat hard to accomplish because the vampire was taller than him which was a symbol of just how twisted they were.
"What did he dooooo?" Yugi whined, trying not to be thrown off his goal, and let the blush that was rising to his cheeks become obvious.
Yami looked up again and smirked more. "Nothing, and nothing and nothing, little one."
"You liar!" The teasing was so familiar Yugi couldn't help responding softly. He half expected a foot to rub against his thigh, but the foot was indistinguishable from his own with their bodies twisted the way that they were.
"Mmm, yes, you've got me on that one, but since I didn't want to know, you certainly won't."
"Goddamnit! What did he do, I have a right to know!"
"Umm… no you don't, and I'm not telling. It's embarrassing?"
Yugi's eyes went wide. "You? YOU of all people saying something is embarrassing?" he squirmed a bit more but only served to rub their bodies far too close. Yami groaned softly and waggled his eyebrows.
"Ack, kuso! Is that your leg?" Yugi said, shifting and squirming. He didn't like the way his own body was reacting.
"No, it's yours."
"Ow, that's mine!" Yugi said as Yami rolled half onto his leg.
"Shimatta! Yami-kun, you're heavy!" He gasped out, almost winded.
Yami's eyes suddenly sparkled and he pulled Yugi close, kissing the teacher fiercely.
Yugi didn't realize he was responding and kissing back before the vampire drew back and smiled softly, fingers caressing the back of Yugi's hands. "You haven't called me, Yami-kun in so long… I thought there would be no hope…"
Yugi shook his head. Damnit! This was not right!
Yami is a vampire, he thought to himself.
Vampire. Vampire. Vampire! Because of vampires you're gay! Because of vampires you hear voices! Because of vampires you have no family!
These thoughts made Yugi clench his fists. "My apologies Mr. Yami, I must have forgotten my manners." He said coolly.
Yami looked crestfallen. "Damnit… Yugi-kun…"
"Please get off me. I am quite uncomfortable." Yugi said through gritted teeth. Yes, that was a lie, a very horrible, big lie. And Yami probably knew it too.
The vampire growled and pushed himself into the smaller. Yugi choked back a gasp as pleasure like an electric shock ran up his spine. "Yugi-kun! Stop acting this way! Onegai!" He pleaded, hands pushing on Yugi's desperately.
Yugi looked away, bright blush still evident on his cheeks. "Leave me alone, Mr.Yami."
Yami closed his eyes, bangs sliding over his face.
"I…can't." he let go of Yugi's hand to trace the boy's bottom lip. "Forgive me…" he whispered softly.
"Marik… make him sleep for a few hundred years."
"Hai."
And then the world was very dark and very gone as Yugi felt his body suddenly shut down into very deep subconscious realms.
His last thought was 'Kuso' before there was nothingness for a very long time.
~ The End.
Sweet notes: PLEASE DON'T KILL ME!!!!!!!!!! *hides in a shoebox* there is a very, very, very good explanation!!!!
I'm not so cruel as to actually leave it there completely, there's gonna be a few sequels. But the timeline changes will be too dramatic to keep them in this story singularly. Also, in the direct sequel of this, you will find out about the title of this one in concern with the first chapter.
The next story, which you WILL want to read to find out what happens, will be called 'The Reincarnation of ephemeral existence.' Which *chuckles* is broken down to mean 'the rebirth of mortal existence.' It's almost done, and in two or so days you'll have the first chapter of it.
No! No! Put the stake down! PLEASE!!! *screams and runs*
