Chapter 5 The Seto Kaiba Challenge

Hey everyone! Kaiser here, with the fifth chapter of "The Legend of the God Weapons" Jacob and I have long awaited writing this chapter!

Gladly, hikari! We don't own Yugioh or any of the characters that appear in the chapter!

Yes we do, we own Solomon's grandaughter Lili, but that's it!

{10:45 AM Day of the SKC, Turtle Game Shop 6115 Turtle St.}

Solomon looked out off his balcony in the turtle game shop, he had been staring at the Kaibas' stadium preparing for the afternoon, and he was a bit nervous.

Seto Kaiba wasn't exactly the easiest duelist around, quite frankly, he wasn't easy at all, but Solomon had a card that could defeat Seto Kaiba, but he wasn't sure if he could use it…

"Grandpa?" came the voice of a girl from the room behind the balcony.

"What is it Liliya?"{You named her after a certain author we know didn't you?} asked Solomon gently to the girl.

"Grandpa, call me Lili please!"{Alright, I did!} said Lili with a slightly annoyed tone.

"Okay, Lili, what is it?" said Solomon holding back a chuckle.

"Why are you sitting at the balcony?" asked Lili.

"Well, I'm just thinking, that's all," said Solomon softly.

"Hmm, Grandpa, can we go with you to the stadium?" asked Lily anxiously.

"Of course you can!" said Solomon happily.

"Wow! I'm gonna tell Yugi!" said Lili, running to her room.

"Kids…" said Solomon, walking out of the Balcony.

{11:00 AM, Day of the SKC, Mai's apartment, room B3}

Mai was running around the room packing to go to Egypt, she had no doubt in her mind, she was going to win against Seto Kaiba, so she had to pack her stuff.

"I have to get this done, I don't want to be win the challenge and not be packed yet!" yelled Mai, drops of sweats covering her face and neck.

"Man, this is going to be great! Egypt, Land of Gold, the land where I will be rolling in wealth!"{If this was an Anime, she would be fantasizing about rolling around in gold.} she said happily.

Then there was a knock on the door, it was her friend Ruby Gardner and her little sister Tea Gardner.

"Hello Mai, are you sure you should be packing? You haven't even won it yet!" said Ruby.

"Don't worry Ruby, I will beat Kaiba, I mean, how hard could a twelve year old be?{I sense that I just insulted myself…nah, couldn't be…} said Mai, a cocky look across her face.

"Mind if we help?" said Ruby.

"Not at all!" cried Mai, not trying to sound too desperate.

{Five minutes later…}

"We're done!" cried Mai, happy that the work was finished, "Want to stay for lunch?"

"Sure!" cried Tea, she hadn't eaten all day.

{12:50 PM, 10 min. to the SKC, Bakura's house 8644 English rd.}

"I'm so very late!" cried Bakura, he had overslept, meaning he only had ten minutes to get dressed and get to the stadium.

He was only a block away from the stadium but that would be a 4 minute walk and he only had ten minutes!

"Oh, gotta put on my shirt! Done! Time to go, oh forgot my pants!" cried Bakura.

He went back put on his pants and ran to the stadium.

{4 minutes later}

Bakura ran into the stadium, Mai, Solomon, Keith, and Necromancer were there, shuffling their decks, waiting for the challenge to begin.

Then he heard Kaiba's voice from the Arena, it said, "Ladies and Gentleman, welcome to my challenge!" cheers were heard outside in the audience, and then Kaiba continued, "KaibaCorp has fully funded this event, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!"

Then the announcers started to speak, "Well, let's get this party started! First off, The big cheese, the CEO, The big man, Seto Kaiba!"

They would call his first opponent next, then the announcers cried, "Versus Bakura Ryou!"

Mai and Solomon looked at him and nodded, and Bakura walked out into the arena, about to face the world champion…

And I believe that's all for this chapter!

Next chapter is Bakura vs. Kaiba!
