Chapter 10 The Legend of the God Weapons Part 2
Hey everybody, chapter 10 is raring to go!
I don't own Yami, Shadi, or the Yugioh name!
On with it!

It had been a year since Slysheen killed the Pharoah and took over the throne of Egypt. Yami, Hathor, and Shadi reached the only place that would be safe, The Shrine of Glory.
The Shrine of Glory was located on a plateau above the palace, to the naked eye it was an empty ruin. Only the truly skilled could locate it.
Slysheen quested and found the five remaining God Weapons, but one was still missing; the Puzzle that Yami wore around his neck, but he was convinced he would find it, he didn't know how soon, but he would find it!
As for Yami, Shadi, and Hathor, they had lived for a year in the Shrine of Glory for the past year, secluded from the rest of Egypt.
Yami was sitting on a throne in the shrine, he liked the feeling it brought, and he felt like the throne of Egypt belonged to him and not Slysheen.
Hathor had walked into the throne room, he looked at her and smiled; it reminded him that he wasn't alone in this.
"Hello Hathor, did you sleep well?" asked Yami to his wife.
"I slept fine, but this world is falling apart in front of us!" cried Hathor, "How long are we just going to sit around and wait?"
Yami's faint smile turned into a frown, "Hathor, we'll probably be like this forever!"
Hathor's eyes filled with tears as she ran outside, but someone blocked her way.
"Where do you think you're going my queen?" said Shadi.
Hathor looked up at Shadi, he always seemed to be gone all the time until you want to leave, then he shows up.
"My Pharoah!" cried Shadi, motioning towards Yami, "I found these in the Valley of the Kings!"
Shadi walked over to Yami and gave him a roll of Papyrus; Yami unrolled it and read.
"Under the tombs of the ancient Sorcerers, lies the weapons of the gods…" said Yami.
Yami looked closely at the picture underneath, "A map…" said Yami.
Hathor let out a cry, "That's it!"
Yami and Shadi turned around quickly, "What's it?"
Hathor had a big grin on her face as she said, "The God Weapons used to be in the places on the map, maybe if we go to the Sorcerers' tombs, we might find a clue!"
Yami had a huge smile on his face, "You will make a great queen Hathor!"
Hathor bowed a bit and said, "Thank you…"
They left the shrine and headed for the Valley of the Kings, where they found the Sorcerers' tombs, and the High Priest Seto.
"I've been waiting for you Yami, how are you?" asked Seto with that grim smile of his.
"Seto, I see your still Slysheen's lapdog!" cried Hathor.
Seto's smile turned into a frown, "And I see you're still claimed by that loser!"
Yami stood forward to strike him, but Seto removed the God's staff and made him put his arm down.
"I will tell you something Pharaoh and a will say it quick!" said Seto very quickly, "Look through the forest, the meadow, the Nile, the mountain, and the desert!"
The three didn't know what he was talking about but then it hit them; those must be the location of the God weapons!
Yami quested throughout the land, leaving Hathor and Shadi in the Valley of the Kings.
First he defeated the High mage Secmeton, the master of the Nile and keeper of the God's necklace.
Then he defeated the High mage Atenza, the master of the mountains and keeper of the God's ring.
Then he defeated the High mage Martis, master of the desert and keeper of the Scale of Truth.
Then he finished the High mage Annubisia, master of the forest and keeper of the God's Key.
And finally, he defeated the strongest of the five, High mage Kapura, the master of the meadow and keeper of the Eye of Horus.
So he collected six weapons of the gods, and decided to go to the High shrine of Slysheen, in the high mountains…
He was greeted by the voice of an old enemy, "Well, if this isn't a little tale of Horus and Seth…"
Yami glared at Slysheen and said, "But Seth loses…"
Slysheen smiled and said, "But we're going to rewrite that tale!"
Slysheen and Yami fought but it never finished, because Seto snuck up from behind and turned the God's staff into a dagger.
"Slysheen!" cried Seto from behind, "I will kill you, and then take the prince's weapons and then the power of the gods will be mine!"
"No!" cried Slysheen, slashed to the floor, "I will not let the power of the gods be yours!"
Seto merely smirked at Slysheen and turned to Yami and said, "Prince Yami, this will go down in history, the battle of the pharoah and the high priest…"
Yami turned his head and said, "Egypt will not turn to the side of the usurper, it will only stay in the family of Osiris!"
"Going to use the Dark Magician?" asked Seto.
"No, something much more powerful!" cried Yami.
Yami swung the staff in the air and landed it to the ground, revealing a light pillar, and the ultimate spellcaster!
"The magician of black chaos!" cried Seto.
The magician of black chaos hit Seto knocking him across the room.
Slysheen got up and said, "Now you will get your reward for helping me so long…"
He then began to chant. Translation: Your soul is as black as night, you will only be free in the future. Your soul will be split into two, one light, one darkness; light being free, dark being sealed. When the two combine you will be free again!
The staff in Seto's hand began to shine as Seto screamed in torture, "Damn you Slysheen!" were his last words, as the staff fell to the floor…
Slysheen motioned to Yami, who looked horrified, and he walked over…
"I think I feel what Seth felt when he was defeated, seeing the fire and determination of his brother in the eyes of his nephew…" said Slysheen, "I think you will be a mighty pharoah, Yami...you might even be the greatest of all…"
And Slysheen fell over dead…
Yami got up sadly; Slysheen might have killed his father, stole his kingdom and tried to use the power of the gods to kill him, but he was still his uncle, and it loosened the pain knowing it wasn't him who killed Slysheen.
Hathor and Shadi ran into the room, "Yami, you did it!"
Yami got up and looked up at Hathor and gave her a brilliant smile, and said, "How about we rebuild the palace, the reign of Pharaoh Yami and Queen Hathor is going to begin…"
Hathor looked up at him and said, "I love you Yami…"
Yami looked down at her and said, with a quick kiss, "I love you too…"
Shadi swallowed his pride and said, "We should get to the palace…"
So Yami and Hathor held each other's hand as they left the shrine together, with Shadi following along…
