Yami walks back out of the house with a pot of warm water. "All right, this should --" Sees Yugi had put his clothes back on. "Why are you dressed?"

 

Yugi all of a sudden grabs his head in what looked like he was in pain and starts letting out cries of confusion and agony

 

Yami drops the pot of hot water and runs over to Yugi, bending down to his level. "Yugi! Yugi, what's wrong!?"

 

Yugi doesn't respond to Yami and Suguroku had opened the door with a slam, hearing Yugi's cry, "what's going on?!?"

 

Yami look across the yard to his grandpa. "I-I don't know! He started freaking out!"

 

Suguroku eyes widen slightly, he knew what was going on, "Yami! Bring Yugi inside! Quickly!!" he yells to Yami as he runs quickly inside to perpetrate some things

 

Yami quickly scoops Yugi up into his arms and rushes back into the house. He closes the door behind him and sets Yugi down gently near Suguroku.

 

Suguroku had gotten out a very largish bowl filled with water, he quickly goes over and starts searching through some cupboards, "I never thought I would have to use his powers when he was this young, but I must..." He gets out a necklace with a golden pendent on it, and most would recognize it as the Millennium Puzzle from the legend of the Millennium Items

 

Yami looks at the pendant. "Is that ....?"

 

Suguroku looks to him, "yes, this is the Millennium Puzzle from the legend." he goes over to the shaking Yugi and sets down the puzzle and takes Yugi's hands and sets them gently in the water. Yugi stops shaking all together, Suguroku picks up the puzzle and sets it around Yugi's neck, the tip of the pendent touching the water, creating small ripples. Suguroku looks to Yami, "Yami... what I'm about to show you, you are not to reveal to ANYONE"

 

Yugi follows the ripples pattern as Suguroku says softly, "Yugi from you I do beseech...... Knowledge that lies beyond my reach...... Troubled thoughts weigh on your heart...... Pray you now those thoughts impart....."

 

An eye of Horus glows onto Yugi's head as his eyes dim and become blank. out of Yugi's fingers in the water, what appears to be ink but isn't leaks out into the water and the puzzle begins the spin on its own, causing the water to whirl around like a whirlpool and the color overcomes all the water and it looks like there's images starting the form.

 

Suguroku looks closer to the water to see what was being seen, he recoils slightly, "Thief King Bakura...”

 

Yami's eyes widen as he watches the ripples take on various forms. "W-What's going on ...? I don't understand ...."

 

Suguroku looks to Yami, "shh shh.. don't interfere." he looks back to the water and says softly, "This is a gift Yugi has.. a power he was born with" he takes notice of the images again. Two shapes like dragons circling around like a vulture would looking for its dinner, "he's searching... for what?" the two images fade off and several shapes appear in the water. Each having specific shapes of the seven millennium items, "the items... so that's it! Oh no this isn't good... if he finds them... nothing will stop him from ruling the world" then the images faded away as well, then a new one came up, an outline of Yugi and he was running and dragons circling around him, Suguroku recoils again, "he knows.." before the dragons could capture Yugi in the water, Suguroku splashed Yugi in the face with the water, "STOP! ENOUGH!"

 

The Eye fades immediately from Yugi's head and his pupils come back. Yugi retracts his hands and looks to his frightened as ever grandfather worriedly. Suguroku then acts fast and goes to the kitchen, rounding up some stuff, "Yami! You must leave here at once! Take Yugi to the hidden cottage at the edge of the Forbidden Forest. Hide there; never bring him out, until I come for you!"

 

Yami watches his grandfather rush around the house. "Hide? But why? I can take him! I can take the lot of 'em!"

 

Suguroku gets some food items and a cloth, "Only I knew the secret of Yugi's power! But now the Thief King Bakura has discovered it! You must make sure he never uses it to find all the Millennium Items!" he puts the food in the cloth along with the millennium puzzle and ties it and looks to Yami, handing it to him, "you are a very foolish lad! Untried courage is no match for his evil. Just remember that! Now, now off you go my boy and take care of yourself and Yugi!"

 

Yami scoots out the door, holding Yugi's hand. He looks back at Suguroku with a bit of a frown at first. "I'll protect him from the Thief King. I won't let anything happen to him!" He smiled bravely. "I can do it!" And with a final wave, he disappeared over a hill with Yugi in tow.

 

Suguroku watches them leave and sighs, "So much. So soon. To rest upon his young shoulders..."
