Inside the room, a white-haired harp player is being hung by his wrists.

"Now, look, you seem an intelligent sort of chap to me!" The guard looks at him with an expression that says 'duh'. "So you'll have to believe me when I tell you; I'm related to the Thief King! Really! He's my brother. I was just, uh ... coming to visit him! Yeah! Nothing else, of course." A string on his harp vibrates and then snaps, making him chuckle nervously.

The guard walks away without another word. Ryou pouts slightly. "You don't realize who I am! I shall sing of your dastardly deed! I'm RYOU BAKURA! Minstrel of minstrels! Balladeer to the grandest courts in all the land!" The harp, that hangs from a string around Ryou's neck, shakes violently and one of the strings snap.

Ryou looks at the harp and simply replies, "Well, so you've forgotten! I've sung in some of the finest courts!" Another string breaks, it does so whenever Ryou lies or exaggerates, something of his brother's doing in order to keep him from lying to him.

"Well I'm only waiting for an invitation! A fat string breaks. "Oh, shush! Why do you have to judge every word I say? Oh! What's that? He looks up and sees a skeleton of a former minstrel chained to the wall. He gulps, eyes widening. "Heeellllllpppp!!!"

Anzu and Yami come in; Anzu goes over to Ryou, "Oh, hello! We'll have you untied in a moment. I'm Princess Anzu. And you are in bad trouble aren't you?" she asks him, examining what predicament he was in, "and you say you're related to the king? Well, I guess I can see the relation, what are you doing in here if you're the brother of Bakura?"

Ryou looks down, giving a small smile. "Ah, he doesn't like me that much. And I don't much like him since he's changed either. He's just a big.... evil person now. I was actually coming to try and talk him out of his quest for the millennium items, but ..." He looks at the chains around his wrists. "I obviously didn't succeed."

Anzu takes out a hair pin out of her hair and picks the lock of his binds, "not a big surprise if you tried to talk him out of it to end up this way." A noise stops their conservation. Ryou is half free with one hand still tied up by now but they are suddenly alerted that the Henchmen know Yami is missing. A henchman says behind the door, "the boy's escaped! Look in there!"

Yami gulps, gripping his newly found sword. "They found out!"

Ryou looks over to the two quickly. "Run! Make haste!” He then thinks to himself. "Make haste? I've must save myself!" He then begins to pick the last lock around his wrist.

Yami and Anzu run for dear life. Yami would've have made it across the parapet if he hadn't tripped on a flagstone. Anzu, not seeing Yami's fault, keeps on going.

Yami scrambles back onto his feet, suddenly realizing the sword is gone. He looks around him and sees that the sword has fallen in the ditch that is aside the parapet. Hearing the Henchmen, Yami jumps into the ditch and, grabbing the sword, crawls underneath one of the arches of the parapet. The Henchmen pass over him, without being seen. When they're gone, Yam climbs on the parapet and searches for Anzu.

"Princess! Princess Anzu!" Clutching the sword, he rounds a corner and runs into one of the Henchmen.

"Hey! You little scut!" With a single blow with his hand, the Henchmen sends Yami sprawling onto the ground. The Henchmen takes out his axe and swings at Yami, missing him only by a hair. The teen grabs onto a beam to help him get on his feet. The Henchmen swings again, missing Yami, but his axe is caught in the beam. Yami suddenly grins as he finds this his first chance to actually use the sword.

Yami grabs the sword and holds it to fend off any blows the Henchmen may bring upon him. The Henchmen has pulled his axe free of the beam and is going to chop Yami in half. The Henchmen brings his axe down on Yami's sword -- There is a bright light as the two weapons clash. The Henchmen's axe shudders and breaks into a million pieces. Frightened, the Henchmen backs away.

Yami now realizes that the sword he holds is magic. Yami's grin widens as he realizes he is invincible with this sword in his hands. He laughs madly as he gets up and swings the sword around.
