The New Girl

Sakura: Welcome back readers.

Seto: Grr...if I wasn't tied to this dang telephone pole I'd kill them all now!

Subaru: "Hits him on head" You're not allowed to kill the readers!

Seto: Why?

Sakura: Cause I said so. Now...y4e, what's the plan.

y4e: Well..."whispers something in the huddled group of Sakura, Subaru, Allie and Krystal."

Allie: I like! I like!

Krystal: Let's go find a carpet!

Sakura: Well we continue on with this fic. Hey! Where'd Subaru go?

Subaru: "Hitting Seto on the head w/ spiked club"

Sakura: That's a bit dangerous.

Subaru: He has a helmet!

Sakura: Than I'll go look for the carpet while you go and beat the pulp out of him. Start this fic.

Chapter 13 - Kari Taken

Sakura held tightly onto the small bear Seto won playing the shooting the targets game. (A/N: Do not know what is was called) She much preferred the small tokens of affection rarther than the big ones.

As she lay on the bed, she pondered about what Aroga's next move would be and if he was suffering as much as she had?

'Serves him right! Maybe he's suffering more?' Sakura thought.

'Sakura! Do not think that way!' Cala scolded angrily.

'How cute!' Caru said about the bear Sakura held trying to change the subject. Did you win it?

'No,' Sakura turned a light shade of pink, 'Seto did.'

'Awe. I see. You two seem to be getting along quite well. I'm glad for you.' Cala hugged her hikari for a second and let go.

'Thanks. I'm really tired, it's like 3 am. I should get some sleep.'

'Good night Sakura. Sleep well.' Cala and Caru said.

Seto continued to sign papers as he thought of Sakura. 'Why do I keep thinking of her?' He set another booklet of contracts to one side and pulled another one from his left. 'God! Her eyes are beautiful! Damn! There I go again! I've got to get some of this done!' Seto picked up the pen and signed the top sheet with his last name. 'Wonder what Sakura's thinking. Damn! Did it again!' Seto set the pen down and rubbed his sore hand. 'Always too much paper work.' He picked up the pen yet again and signed yet another sheet of paper. 'That's it! Can't take it anymore! OW! Hand cramp!' Seto got up and left his stuffy office.

Sakura tried to sleep but couldn't shake the feeling that something was going to go wrong tonight. Sakura got dressed in red flare pants and the black chemise sweater she wore earlier. She placed the M. Cross Bow around her neck and pulled her hair into a tight bun. She sat on her bed and sighed.

Seto paced his room trying to shake off the feeling that something bad was going to happen. 'I wonder what this feeling is? I hope nothing happens.' Seto went to keep an I on Sakura.

"Hey Seto. You got the same feeling I do?" Sakura asked staring at him. Her emrald green eyes were filled with worry.

"Yeah. Too bad Motou stayed here. But Kari-"

"AHHH!"

"That came from Kari's room!" Sakura yelled. Seto and Sakura rushed to her room. They rushed in and saw her room in shambles. Yugi joined them.

"I...heard...Kari...scream..." Yugi panted and said between breaths.

Kari woke up chained to a wall.'Where am I?' She thought looking around.

"You're with me." A voice replied.
