The Next day Kari had school and like usually she was gonna be late.

`Ah! I'm so dead I have a test!' Kari thought as she ran to school. When Kari arrived she was lucky enough to make it in time. When Kari went inside her class she saw her friends Yugi, Tea, Tristen, Duke, Joey, Mai, and May (ok there's one more added character but that's it, oh and well just say Mai goes to the same school)

“Hey guys” said Kari to the gang

“Kari! You made it in time for the test” said Duke

“Uh…yeah…I over slept today”

Then the teacher came in.

“Hello class please take your seat, for today we have test”

` Aug! I don't want a test this early in the morning' thought Kari

“Ok class begin, and no talking!” said the teacher

`Whoa this is easy…I wonder how Seto is doing'

After school Kari decided to visit Seto at he's work. When she got to Kaiba Corp she saw Seto's secretary (sp?)

“Hi…uh…may I see Seto Kaiba?” Kari asked the secretary

“Uh…sure…go ahead”

“Thank you” Kari said as she went into Seto's office. When she got in she saw Seto looking at his desk doing some paper work.

“Uh…hi Seto” said Kari.

“Huh?…oh Kari! What are you doing here”

“I felt like seeing where you work and I wanted to see you”

“Oh…ok…I'll be off work in 5 minutes…do you want to go to diner?” asked Seto

“Uh…sure” answer Kari

“You ready to go?” asked Seto

“Yeah” answer Kari”

“Ok” Seto then grabbed Kari's Hand. Kari blushed at the touch of his hand. Seto saw this and smirked.

` She's so cute when she blushes' thought Seto

`Oh my god! Why am I blushing? Do I really love Seto? Well…he is nice and all…oh my god! I think I do love him, but does he like me back?' thought Kari as she went into the limo

“So uh…. Where are we eating?” asked Kari

“You'll see”

“Uh…ok”

After awhile the limo finally came to a stop and when Kari got outside she saw that they were at one of the most fanciest restaurant in Domino City.

“Oh my God Seto can you really afford this?” asked Kari

“Well I do own Kaiba Corp, I think I can afford to eat here” said Seto

“You sure?”

“Yeah…lets go in” When Seto and Kari in they sat in a table to two.

“Hello, may I take your order?” asked a girl where all black except her apron was all white.

“Um…I'll have this and a coke please” asked Kari

“And I'll have this with red wine please” asked Seto

“Ok I'll be back with your orders”

“So…” said Kari breaking the silence

“Do you like it here in domino, Kari?” asked Seto

“Oh…uh…. Yes…it's a lot better than the last place where I lived,” said Kari `cause he was there' thought Kari

“Is it now?”

“Yeah everyone here is so nice and the scenery is so beautiful and at school is just so great, everyone there acts like they have know me since I was born, it's really great here” Kari said with a smile on her face. Seto just smirked.

“Here are your orders,” said the waitress

“Thank you” said Kari

Kari and Seto were walking through the park.

`Ok…uh…why is Seto not walking straight?' Thought Kari “Umm…Seto are you ok?”

“Yeahhhhh…..immm….okkkkk….why you ask?” said Seto drunkenly ( “Well you seem…well…drunk…how many glasses of wine did you drink?” asked Kari

“Uhh… a coupllllllle”

“Maybe we should get you home, Seto” stated Kari

“No…im okkkk”

“You sure?”

“Yea-“ Seto then failed and was about to fall on to the ground but Kari caught him

“Seto! Seto! Wake up! Please Seto wake up” Yelled Kari, but she couldn't wake him up. He was out cold.

`Looks like I'm going to have to bring him to my house since I don't know where he lives' Kari thought as she lifted him on to her back. When Kari got to her house no one was home so she went to her room and laded Seto on her bed. She got a wet cloth and put it on Seto's forehead. Seto was breathing heavily. Kari then went to kitchen and saw a note her mom left her.

 

Dear Kari,

I am on a business trip, and I was hoping you could stay at a friends house. I don't want you staying here all by yourself. You are allowed to come to your house during the day but I really want you stay at someone else's house during the night while im gone. Anyway I'll be gone for a while. Be good with who ever your staying with and I have left $200 for you to go shopping. Anyway I must go! (Later on, you see why Kari's mom has so much money)

`So that's why no one is home' thought Kari as she went back to her room where Seto was sleeping.

“I'm so tired” Kari said to herself as she fell to the ground fast asleep.
