Inside the Village...

Aria was taking a break from her job and decided to go home and check on her kids. After she had done that she hurried along to the Palace to go see Kimora and Teania. "Hey wait up Aria where are you going?" Ashila called out to her. "I was going to the Palace to go visit Teania and Kimora. Did you want to come?" Ashila nodded and the two girls walked together and headed towards the Palace.

Inside the Palace...

Teania greeted the girls at the door with a sad look on her face. "Hey Teania what's wrong?" Aria said melancholy. "We've got another problem with Kimora." Teania said dolefully. "What's the problem?" Ashila said rapidly. "Come into the courtyard with me so we can talk there." The two girls followed Teania into the courtyard and they all sat down awaiting Teania's response. "Kimora left the Palace earlier and she still has not returned. A young woman came in here saying that a thief kidnapped her child and she claims that Kimora did it but I know she is lying. I've got to find her and bring her back here." Ashila placed her hands on her forehead looking down at the ground. "How about I gather up some people and we can go look for Kimora?" Ashila was always willing to volunteer for adventures.

"That won't be necessary." A voice said from a distance. Maya walked into the courtyard and sat with the girls. "Why won't it be necessary?" Teania said bewilderedly. "Because Priest Mahado and his men are out of the city searching for her at this very moment. Although, I still do not know why she ran off." Teania looked at Ashila and she got up and prepared to leave. "Well, I should be going now and I'll be on the look out for Kimora." Ashila left the courtyard and went back into town. "What's been going on with Kimora?" Maya said baffled. "The only time I saw her today was when I was talking to the Pharaoh and I wanted her to come over and chat with us but, she just turned her head and walked away and I never saw her again after that." Maya had an idea of what could've happened to Kimora but she didn't want to say it in front of Teania. "I better get going; I still have work to do. If you hear anything about Kimora let me know." Maya left the courtyard. Teania was feeling that everyone knew something that she didn't but they weren't willing to come forward and tell her about it.

Was it something about Teania that they didn't like? Or was it something about Kimora that they just couldn't tell her?

In the Depths of the Desert....

Kimora passed out a while ago and woke up near a small raggedy old house. Kimora went over and knocked on the door but she got no answer. She knocked on the door again and still there was no answer. Kimora walked around the house and looked inside the window. There she saw the little girl that gave her the flower, sitting in a wooden cage and the two crooks sitting at a table eating, laughing, drinking, and just talking. There was also a big bag of gold items sitting in the corner. She didn't know exactly what was going on but, what she did know was that she had to save that little girl.

As Kimora was about to make her move, the ground began to rumble like an avalanche. Kimora fled the scene and started running farther ahead so as not to get caught. She hid in a ditch and after the wind died down, she could see a pack of guards stopping at the house she was at. "Alright men let's check this house." The General yelled. The men knocked on the door. "Open up, this is the General!" The two thieves grabbed the little girl and the bag of gold and exited out through the back door. When the guards broke into the house, they could tell that the men got away. So the guards split up into two teams and searched the area.

Kimora saw the two men running with the little girl so she brought out Diabound to scare the two thieves. "AHHH ITS A DEMON!!!!" The thieves shouted and they dropped the little girl and the bag of gold and ran right into a line of guards. Kimora grabbed the sack and the little girl and stayed hidden in the ditch, until the guards went away. "Where is the little girl you filthy bastards?" The General yelled as his men chained up the thieves. "We don't know, we saw a demon and we ran." The General was stunned when he heard the thief say "Demon" because he automatically knew who he was talking about. Kimora appeared out of the ditch holding the frightened little girl in her arms, with the sack of gold on her back. "There she is, that's the demon!!!" the thieves cried out. "That's not a demon that's our Heroine. If we wouldn't have heard you two bastards screaming like a bunch of girls than we wouldn't have caught you."

Suddenly, Priest Mahado and his men appeared on the scene and he was marveled to see Kimora with the little girl and a sack of gold and the thieves already chained up. "What's going on here?" Priest Mahado addressed to the General. "We've caught the thieves thanks to Kimora." Priest Mahado stared at Kimora and she just couldn't resist blushing and smiling back at him. "Come Kimora; let us return to the Palace. I'm sure the Pharaoh will be happy to hear about your heroic triumph." Priest Mahado held out his hand and Kimora gladly took it as he pulled her up onto the horse and they all rode away towards the Palace.

In The Village...

"Look Everyone!!! The Priest has returned with the missing child and the crooks are chained up." Everyone ran to the Priest and his guards and they all cheered and clapped while throwing things and spitting at the chained up thieves. It was a phenomenon to see Kimora being cheered on by the same people that did the same thing to her as they are doing to these thieves. Was this the miracle that Kimora has been waiting for? Was she finally being accepted by the people, whose torment she has had to put up with for so long? Was her steady faith and constant belief finally getting her the recognition she deserves after so long? All of Kimora's friends applauded widely for her as she blew them kisses and waved to all her friends and neighbors. Priest Mahado and his crew of guards were followed by the roaring cheers of people until they got to the Palace and finally said their last goodbyes.

Inside the Palace...

Priest Mahado held onto to Kimora's hand as she approached the throne with the little girl still in her arms, dropping the heavy sack of gold onto the floor. "What's all this?" The Pharaoh said flabbergasted by what he is seeing. "My Pharaoh, Kimora has captured the thieves for us. She is no demon she is a hero and thanks to her this little girl is safe." The General boasted proudly. "Is this true!?!" The Pharaoh said appallingly. "Yes, it is my Pharaoh. I know it is a shock to you as well as everyone else but this is quite in fact true because I was there." Priest Mahado said overwhelmingly. "I for one am amazed but I am also pleased that you have done this Kimora. I am proud of you for saving this little girl's life and returning this gold to my Palace.

Your Heroicness will not be forgotten but it will be rewarded with a feast. I commend you for your courage and bravery and I as well as others are truly sorry for the pain you have endured." Kimora was left in tears of happiness as the mother and the captain stared at each other abashed by the scene. "My Pharaoh they have lied to you. If Kimora was the criminal how come we are praising her you liars?" Priest Seto blurted out disgruntled. "DON'T LET THAT DEMON HOLD MY BABY!!! SHE IS EVIL I TELL YOU, EVIL. SHE LURKS THROUGH THE VILLAGE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE TO KILL." The mother was screaming widely and everyone just laughed at her. The captain was outraged that his plan to frame Kimora didn't work and now he has to suffer the consequences.

"I will see to it that you attend to these matters Priest Seto." The Pharaoh chuckled. Priest Seto grinned devilishly as some guards escorted the mother and the captain away. "I will deal with them much later. In the meantime, I want a feast prepared by tonight. Invite everyone in this city so that I may finally be able to tell them the truth. Maybe now this madness will end and our city will finally be at peace." The Pharaoh said complacently. Kimora smiled at the Pharaoh with tears in her eyes. She was finally feeling like a person again. Her hopes, dreams, and wishes can finally come true and now she has to maintain this peace and help people whenever they need it. The little girl leaned her head on Kimora's shoulder and held onto her tightly. The Pharaoh dismissed everyone from the throne room, and walked over to Kimora. "Why did you leave the Palace earlier? I wanted you to come over and chat with Teania and me but, you just turned your head and left and I never got a chance to ask you why." Kimora felt bad knowing that all Teania was doing was having friendly conversation and she made it out to be something more. "I just needed to see my friends that's all. It was nothing. Forget about it."

Kimora sighed and began walking towards her room. "Kimora, I feel that you're not telling me the whole truth. I know it was something more to that if you actually left the city. Where were you going and why did you leave?" Kimora shook her head and laughed. "It's nothing important." Kimora kept walking but the Pharaoh ran in front of her causing her to stop. He was persistent about wanting to know the truth. "Why do you do this to me all the time Kimora? I have to constantly guess on what you are feeling because you refuse to tell me. Why is that? Are you afraid of me? Are you hiding something from me?

I really want to know Kimora because I'm getting really frustrated right now." Kimora took a step forward and turned around. "I'm not trying to hide anything from you, it's just that there are something's I don't want to tell you and there are some things that you shouldn't know. I left because I thought you were liking Teania more than me. When I left the city I really didn't know where I was going. My main priority at that time was to get out of the Palace. You do scare me sometimes because you try to force my feelings out of me instead of being calm about it. That's why I keep things to myself." The Pharaoh walked over to Kimora and kissed her lips, licking her tear away. "I love you and only you. No one else. I'm sorry if I seem a little forceful but sometimes I have to. For your well being and mine." Kimora felt convinced now and was able to wholeheartedly trust the Pharaoh with whomever he is with.

"What should I do about this little one?" The Pharaoh knew the mother was in trouble for trying to frame Kimora so he decided to let Kimora take care of the little girl until the mother's sentence was decided. "Why don't you take care of this little girl for now? You're doing a good job anyway and the little girl seems to like you very much. The father has left the Palace therefore; I will assign you to take care of this precious girl." This thrilled Kimora since she has experience with small children and they always loved her. The Pharaoh kissed her forehead and left to attend to other matters. Kimora left to get the little girl cleaned up with some fresh garments on. After she finished all of that, she carried the little girl out into the garden and sat by the river.

She sat the little girl on the ground but she refused to stray away from Kimora. The little girl held onto Kimora and rested her head on her. Kimora caressed her soft hair with the gleaming waters reflections shining in her eyes. "So this is what it's like to be human again..."
