Chapter One: The Shocking Truth

Seto Kaiba and his little brother Mokuba Kaiba walk down the side of Pegasus's castle towards his pool.

Seto: Mokuba, stay close to me, we all know what this lunatic is capable of.

Mokuba: What do you think he called us here for?

Seto: I don't know but whatever it is, it had better be good.

Pegasus: Ah, Kaiba-boy and your little brother, good good you've both come.

Seto: If this is another sick attempt to get me to duel you, you're out of your mind.

Pegasus: Come now Kaiba-boy, do you really think I would try that again? You know better than anyone I'm far from predictable. No no, that's all in the past. I've asked you here for a different reason- to tell you something.

Pegasus walks over to them and puts his red whine spritzer down on the table. He reaches out a hand to put on Seto's shoulder but Seto brushes it away.

Seto: What the hell do you think you're up to Pegasus?!

Pegasus: Well to get straight to the point Kaiba-boy, there was something I needed to tell you, something that I should have told you a long time ago- I'm you're father.

Seto stares at him for a second then brakes out into laughter nearly falling down. Mokuba to starts to laugh but not nearly as much as Seto.

Seto: That was the best laugh I've had in years. Thanks for the joke but goodbye. Come on Mokuba.

They start to walk away but Pegasus runs ahead of them and stops them.

Pegasus: It's no joke, I am your father and both of you are my sons. Oh I just love saying that. I am your father. I am your father. I could never get tired of saying that.

Seto: The jokes getting old fast Pegasus. So shut up and get out of my way.

Pegasus: You never listen do you? Well you certainly don't get that from me. As I said before it's no joke.

Seto was about to start laughing again but when he saw that Pegasus's face was dead serious he stopped smiling.

Seto: It's not possible; I refuse to believe such a lie.

Mokuba: What if he's telling the truth?

Seto: Come on Mokuba; don't tell me you believe this bull?

Mokuba: Well, no but…

Seto: No, that's it we're leaving right now before he brainwashes you anymore.

Seto grabs Mokuba's hand and he starts pulling him away at a fast pace.

Pegasus: Guards, stop them.

Seto and Mokuba are suddenly surrounded by guards. Seto starts to fight and he manages to knock some of the guards down but the rest just grab him and Mokuba. He tries to pull away put their hold is to strong. Pegasus walks up to them.

Pegasus: Let them go.

Seto rips away from the guards and then pushes them away while dusting himself off.

Pegasus: Weather you choose to believe it or not is your own decision but I am you father. I just love saying that!

Seto: I'll humor you for a second. So let's just say that you are our father? What then? White wine spritzers all around? Ha, don't make laugh. (Technically, he already did laugh but the line just works with Seto here). Oh, also how would you like to explain that you captured Mokuba's soul just to get me to duel you and then captured my own? You did it so you could keep your sons with you forever? How stupid do you think I am?

Pegasus: Well, yes. I was psychotic back then, I thought that was the only way you would stay close to me. Also, I don't drink white wine spritzers anymore just red.

Seto: Well, that's an improvement. I don't believe it for a second. We're going now. Oh, and you're just as psychotic now as you were back then.

Pegasus: What if I told you the story about how this is possible? Than after that if you don't believe me, you can leave.

Seto thinks about it for a second and then sits down with Mokuba right next to him.

Seto: Fine, we'll listen to your story. After that it's up to us to decide weather we believe it or not.
