Betrayal

After their secret marriage, Raven and Seto made sure that it was a complete secret. They got back to Seto's watchtower and Raven decided to stay there for a week until she could get back home. As she was sleeping in Seto's bed, Seto couldn't help it but to see how beautiful she was. He then just tucked her in and decided to get some rest too. He then put his book down and then blew out the candle and fell asleep himself.

Raven awoke the next morning, and Seto wasn't near her. She got up and looked outside the window to find him practicing with his sword. When she saw him she was smiling, a true smile. He then saw her looking at him and waved; in response, she waved back. He then decided to come back to the tower.

He climbed up the stairs and saw Raven, when he saw her he smiled, walked up to her and kissed her passionately. "Morning Seto." She said.

"Good morning Raven." He responded, "There is something I need to tell you."

"What is it Seto?"

"Well tonight there will be a feast for the White Rose team and I don't want you to be seen so can you stay here please?"

"Its okay I don't mind besides if I go I might get sick our babe is just making me sick."

"Okay I'm going to leave at six tonight so please stay here, you can read, sleep, lie down, but mostly lie down."

"Okay Seto."

"We don't want to hurt our son now do we?"

"Seto…" she said as she laughed," Like I said don't tempt mother nature."

"I'm just wishing for it." Later on that evening Seto went to the feast for the White Rose team. Lord Crawford was looking at Seto. Its as if he knew about his secret marriage to Raven. He then talked to him. " How are you doing young Rosenkruez?" Crawford asked. "I'm doing great Lord Crawford."

"Glad to hear, listen how come you weren't with us on your birthday? You knew you had a meeting with us and the Duke of England found you."

"Oh that well I was asleep and then I took a wrong turn near the Temple Gardens."

"Oh I see." Seto looked confused from the questions Lord Crawford had asked him. And Lord Crawford had a hunch that Rosenkreuz was keeping something from him.

Four months later.

It's been four months since Raven and Seto got married. Raven told her mother that the child she was about to give birth to was Yugi's. No one knew about the marriage of the couple that is, for the exception of Prince Armand the III. It's August 3rd the year 1485 and Raven went to visit Seto. After the visit Seto dropped Raven off at her castle.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow Seto." Raven said.

"I'll see you tomorrow Raven." Seto responded. Just then Cassandra Jean the only female commander in the Lancastrain army came out of nowhere from by transforming with her earrings of change. "Is it love…or fakeness he's giving you your highness?" she asked Raven.

"Jean," Raven gasped, "How would you know? Seto is kind, sweet, warmhearted, and…"

"AND…he only shows it to you to get what he wants like the spell?"

"JEAN! I NEVER gave him the spell." Raven lied.

"And that child is his not Yugi's am I correct?"

"Yes it is how would you know?"

"You've been acting strange for the past couple of months your highness."

"Jean, he loves me, and I love him are you going to take the only person I've ever loved in this world away?" Raven cried.

"Fine I don't want to see you get hurt Raven. Raven, you're my best friend I don't want to see you killed or hurt."

"I understand Jean. Please do not mention my love for Seto to my mother please." Raven begged.

"I promise." Seto went to a meeting for the White Rose team. After, everyone left and it was just him and Lord Crawford. "Rosenkruez you've been acting strange lately." He said.

"Really? What do you mean Lord Crawford?" Seto responded.

" Its seems like you are somehow involved with the enemy."

"Lord Crawford that's ridiculous what are you talking about?

"Christian Rosenkreuz you are in love with Raven Le Fay of Morgana!"

"How do you know?"

"With my Staff of Merlin I can see into the present, and I saw you with the Princess. Duke Marcus told me that you were with a woman when you left us on your birthday. So I decided to look into the matter."

"So? I love her!!!" Seto yelled.

"See! You just admit your feelings!" Crawford yelled as her pointed his staff to Seto. "Now, to REALLY make you a part of the team."

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going to control you with my staff." And with the power of the Staff of Merlin, Crawford controlled Seto. "Now that you are controlled, you will no longer care for Raven. Now, Rosenkruez come with me, we're going to get help from the enemy."

"Yes, lets go." Seto responded with a cold voice and a evil smirk. Back at Morgana Raven was arguing with her mother about her marriage to Yugi. "No! Absolutely not!" Juliana said.

"But mother you have to understand I don't want to marry Yugi he's my best friend and he's older!"

"Raven when I got married I was fifteen and your father was twenty-five and also I ALREADY settled this with Mai!"

"But mother I want to do different things here in the kingdom."

"But what about the child?" Juliana said as she was measuring Raven's wedding dress; and Raven was just moving around. "Raven stand still and try on your wedding dress."

"MOTHER! I don't want to marry Yugi you have to understand that!"

"But what about his future heir you about to bear? You two will get it together."

"Mom he was drunk when I got pregnant and I'm working here. Doing the chores, meditating my powers, taking care of the castle, BORING! Where's the glory in that?"

"Raven…one day you'll understand why I'm doing this…till then, you ARE going to marry Yugi!"

"Oh, Alright!" Raven said as she took off the wedding dress and ran upstairs crying to her room. "What would you do?" Juliana sighed as she looked at a picture of her late husband. Back at Austria Seto went to see Armand.

"Prince Armand!" Seto shouted.

"You called?" Armand responded.

"I came here to annul my marriage to Raven Le Fay."

"What about the…"

"Forget the damn rules! The marriage is OVER! Oh and by the way, if you tell Raven I'll be sure to have your last rites ready young prince."

"Poor Raven."

Back at Morgana, Raven went out side to do her chores. "How am I EVER going to great things? Or be with Seto? If I'm stuck here with all this mayhem?" Raven said to herself.

Just then Seto came by and took her prisoner. Suddenly the castle of Morgana was under attack with catapults and siege weapons, until someone came into the castle. "Knock, knock." The mystery person said.

"Who…who are you?" Juliana asked, and then the mystery man took off his mask. Juliana gasped when she found out who it was, "Pegasus Crawford!"

"Juliana…I was in the neighborhood and I thought I'd invade." He said, "How about a little kiss? I hear you still single." He said as he lifted her chin up. She slapped him, "You disgusting pig!" she yelled.

"Is that a no?"

"I demand that you leave immediately!"

"So rude, and I came all the way here just to see you"

"What do you want?"

"I want the spell for the red rose cards and the cards themselves." He said then, he took a dagger and cut off Raven's picture from the portrait, "Now pretty Juliana your going to help me!"

"I would rather DIE!"

"But I know without someone you are able to resist!" Juliana then gasped when Crawford showed Raven taken prisoner by Seto. "Mother!" Raven yelled. "Don't you dare hold her!" Juliana said, but the army took her prisoner as well.

"Are you in my plans?" Crawford said, then Raven broke free of Seto's clutches and took a sword from him and almost hit Crawford. "Don't worry she won't be hurt." He then took the prisoners outside. "I have a plan that includes you Juliana, you will lead us to victory while using the White Rose cards."

As Crawford was discussing rules, Juliana lets Raven go. "Go to the Brest of Bretange warn Yugi and Mai!" Juliana whispered.

"I won't leave you here!" She pleaded.

"Raven, Crawford will get to Windsor in three days take the main road, get there before we get to Windsor."

"But mother!"

"Go! While you have the chance, take Armand and Joseph as well, go Raven, your are only hope!" Raven then escaped. "Be careful dear." Crawford then noticed where the princess went. "The princess! ROSENKREUZ! AFTER HER!"

"Don't worry, I'll get her!" he responded. Rosenkruez ambushed Raven, Armand, and Joseph. "RAVEN! WE'RE BEING AMBUSHED!" Joseph said.

Later on the Raven, Armand, and Joseph got rid of them, they decided to camp out somewhere. "I can't believe Seto…betrayed me?" Raven said as tears went down her eyes.

"I didn't want to come to this…but…today he came by and annulled the marriage." Armand said.

"I loved him…but…he was just using me…I let him be with me, I'm carrying his child, we got married all that was just…pointless. I annul the marriage too!"

"Raven…what about the child?"

"I'll marry Yugi…this child would not be Seto's it will be Yugi's!"
