CHAPTER SEVEN
The girls raised their napkins to their eyes. “That is like, so sad!” sobbed Clover.
“Yes…it is!” I said trying not to cry myself. “And I haven't seen her ever since then.”
After the girls rekindled themselves, I carried on with the rest of my story…
The day I came to Beverly-Hills, I had only one goal in mind; getting back to the island, and getting my sweet Sabrina back.
The problem was I couldn't take a plane there, not even if I had the money for a ticket.
The island was private; therefore it was uncharted to the general public on the main land.
Only private Choppers or boats sent from the island could actually take you there.
However, I tried numerous times to board a boat, but it turned out that King-Monroe was smarter than he looked.
He made is so no boat or ferry could ever take me to the island, and I couldn't send any letters to Sabrina as well.
So it was decided, the only way for me to get back to the island was to buy my own boat and sail there myself.
But, a boat I required would cost at least a small fortune, and there was no way I could afford that…Unless!
I had to start teaching again, so for years I studied, and trained myself, and eventually I got back my teaching jobs as a substitute for many places.
Not to mention, the game duel-monsters had become very popular in America, so I even entered a few tournaments for the prize money.
With Sabrina's Millennium-Necklace tucked away under my kerchief, I sensed that I could win the duels, and never lost again.
Of course I could have used it to just read my opponents present and see the cards in his hands… but that was still not my type.
It was the thought of seeing Sabrina again that kept me alive, and made me not want to quit.
And as time passed, I had assembled so many rare cards into many different decks

“So for the past four years, I've been dueling and teaching.” I said. “I bought this whole building with a small fair of my money so I'd have a place to live.”
“I fed myself on fast-food, and maintained my strength and body by working out at the All Night Gym in town.”
“And in my spare time, I would do nothing else all day but paint a picture of my true love, so that I may have her in spirit wherever I am!”
“Other times, I spent inventing these travel Duel-disks, so this way I can challenge anyone wherever I see them.”
“But how can you really have so much money?” asked Alex, “This place still looks like it's falling apart.”
I got up from my chair, and moved my sofa-bed out of the way revealing a secret door on the floor.
I opened it up, and the girls gasped. They had never seen so much money in their lives.
“Wow…look at all this loot!” said Clover, “Just think of what you could buy with it!”
“How much money do you have by now?” asked Sam.
“A little over…Three Million.” I said which made the girls want to faint. Even Mandy never had that much pocket cash.
“I've been saving up for years to buy a ship so I may sail off to the island, and I never really could find it to use it to fix up this place. It would cost too much!”
“I have more than enough now to afford a ship and provisions for the trip…except!”
“Except what?” asked Sam.
“Well…I don't know if I should anymore!” I said.
“After all, it's been four years since Sabrina and I have seen each other, and I may already be too late!”
“Her birthday is on the same date as mine is next week, and she will be eighteen… the age where she is to be married to a man of upper-class!”
“Even if she is not married by the time I get there, she may not even remember me as she no longer has her Necklace.”
“I tried to use it to see if my future will turn out the way I hope it will, but for some reason… it doesn't work!”
“So if I do run into her… What do I say? What do I do?!”
“I have nothing to really expect from her now!”
“Don't think like that!” said Alex, “You and Sabrina share something can never be broken.”
“For sure.” added Sam, “If you and Sabrina love each other this much, I just know she'll still hold you in her heart!”
“Do it for her!” said Clover. “And if you want, we can go with you and help you out.”
“Oh, I couldn't ask you do that.” I said. “You're all on Spring Break, you should be relaxing, and enjoying yourself.”
“But, Mykan.” Cried Sam, “We won't have fun now that we know what you want to do.”
“Besides, we are still Spies, you know that.” Said Clover.
I thought about it and, “You know… you're absolutely right.” I said, “If I ever want to see Sabrina again… then I have to go back.”
“And indeed…you girls may accompany me!”
The girls looked all excited.
“There's only a few things we must do first!” I said, “First I'll have to buy a ship we can use and then spend money on provisions for us!”
“And you girls will also need different outfits than what you have on when we arrive at the island!”
“Don't worry, I have spare Duel-Disks you can all use!”
“Finally, you'll need to really stack your decks and bring them with you, because we will be forced to duel our way up to the top!”
The girls all agreed, and after that, we say our good-byes for the night, and the girls went home to start preparing.
And then I cleaned myself up, and prepared every single one of the decks I had assembled.
In the end, I decided it would be best to use the Deck that my father left me, and too boost it up a bit.
After that, I tucked myself into my sofa bed with one of Sabrina's smaller pictures I painted.
“Hold on Sabrina, I'm coming back!” I said quietly. “I swear, I will get you back, and I will make your father will pay for everything he's done!”
Then I drifted off into a silent sleep
If all went according to plan, we would leave tomorrow!
