Kaiba and Ishizu were the first to enter the virtual reality World Battle Royal, Duel Monsters tournament. It was Kaiba's plan to be the first in; hopefully he could search out his Blue Eyes White Dragons. Ishizu wasn't so thrilled about it, there would be no time to do anything but search, and destroy the thieves that stole Kaiba's cards. Ishizu loved Kaiba and his Blue Eyes cards were very important to him, so she would help him search them out. As they arrived at the building, a guard was there to escort them into the Virtual Reality chamber.

"Hello Kaiba and Ishizu." The guard bowed in there presence, he couldn't help but to admire Ishzu's beauty. Ishizu had caught him staring, but quickly he turned away. The guard quickly walked them to the chambers.

"Where do we insert our decks?" Kaiba already had made a mental note of everything in the room, but some how he didn't catch Pegasus enter the room. His question was directed at everyone, but answered by Pegasus.

"You don't, you'll choose them before each duelist." Pegasus was like a perfect gentleman. Always calm, he waited for more questions.

"Well Pegasus, will you be as kind as to explain the rest of the rules." Kaiba had always hated Pegasus, one of the so very few to defeat him.

"Many rules from battle city apply; you must tribute one monster for monsters five and six stars, two for anything higher, must set all traps, you will be playing with 8000 life points, and also all duelists must choose a deck master." Pegasus watched carefully for the reactions of Kaiba and Ishizu. Seeing no confusion Pegasus continued. "The deck master will stay with you after each duel." Pegasus himself had to stop and remember so of the rules. The ones he had set up were so much simpler than the ones. "Also you have to wager two cards on each duel, one of your choosing, and the one you received from me."

"Mr. Pegasus, what exactly is the prize for winning this tournament?" Ishizu was very formal in addressing Pegasus; honestly she was a little scared of him.

Pegasus had forgotten to explain about the prize. "Ah yes, if you are the winning duelist you will receive all the specially made duel monster cards, plus a set of 4 cards that are yet to be revealed." To be completely honest, Pegasus had now clue what the 4 cards would be. He hadn't bothered to even start working on the proto types.

"Pegasus, what do you mean, The Final Duelist?" Kaiba thought this was a team tournament.

"Oops, you'll find out, if you make it that far." Pegasus had said a little more than he had planned.

"If I make it that far, there is nothing that's going to stop me from getting to the finals." Kaiba was shocked that Pegasus dared to say that to his face.

"O.K., enter the chamber and hopefully you'll run into some of my eliminators." Pegasus opened two chambers, which he led the two into. He then walked to the control panel and typed in there destination. Pegasus placed them in the midst of one of the greatest duelist that had ever lived, Muhammad the Terror of the 1, 2 punch.

As the program began to start, both Kaiba and Ishizu lost consciousness. Their minds and bodies began separate. Unlike Kaiba's program, the duelist wasn't awake to feel the separation.

When their minds entered the world, they were dropped into a field. All around them were duels. Duels were going on for miles. But the thing that stuck out the most was the Blue Eyes White Dragon; the first one was right near Kaiba and Ishizu.

"Wha…?" Was Ishizu's first word. As she opened her eyes, she stared straight into a deep set of red eyes. Not even having time think about were they where she was worried about what or who was staring her face to face. She continuously poked Kaiba in the ribs, trying to wake him up.

Feeling a sharp pain in his right side, Kaiba began to wake up. He on the other hand had a little more of a reaction than Ishizu. "What the fu…" Kaiba's sentence was cut off, by a boy calling his Deck Master.

"Sarin, leave them be." A thirteen year old boy ran over to the Aqua Madoor that had spooked the two. He bowed in apology. "I'm sorry; I hope he didn't bother either of you two." His facial expressions were very clear, he truly was sorry.

"Forget that, have you seen a Blue Eyes White Dragon around here?" Kaiba could careless about the boy's apologies, he wanted back his dragons.

"Oh yeah that guy over there, Zeran has one." He pointed to a short, thin, boy. By the look of him he was maybe 8, but once Kaiba and Ishizu got up close they saw he was definitely older. Zeran's had multiple piercing up the side of his right ear. He had wild unkept black hair; his eyes were a dark navy blue.

Grabbing Zeran by the shoulder, Kaiba wheeled him around so they were face to face.

Not a word had to be spoken. Zeran face froze in terror, Kaiba had found him. He wasn't sure if he could even run, but then he remembered Kaiba didn't have any of his Blue Eyes. "You want it back, then duel me and my teammate Muhammad." (He's like Muhammad Ali the boxer) A young black man stepped up behind Zeran, he towered way over him. Muhammad eyes where a yellow iris color the way he was built, he was in perfect condition to pursue a career in boxing.

Muhammad had hoped that Pegasus would send him Kaiba, a smile crept onto his face. "Kaiba, it's an honor to meet you."

Kaiba bowed and then looked to Muhammad. "The honor is mine, Muhammad Terror of the 1, 2 punch." Kaiba's voice had softened a little when he spoke to Muhammad.

Muhammad smile grew; he didn't think Kaiba had ever heard of him. Just behind Kaiba, Ishizu stood quietly. Ishizu had never heard of this Muhammad, she'd have to talk to Kaiba about him. So Ishizu pulled Kaiba away from their challengers.

"Kaiba, who is the Muhammad?" Ishizu was confused, she was very good at Duel Monsters. But she never knew much about the Muhammad.

Kaiba was smiling; his first duel would be a real treat. "He's a world famous duelist, known for winning all his duels in one strike." This didn't bother Ishizu, she had a chance to eliminate a very fierce opponent.

So they began the duel right were they stood, by first making their decks. Muhammad and Zeran had already had their decks memorized, so they waited patiently for Kaiba and Ishizu.

The next step was to choose a Deck master. Again Muhammad and Zeran were ahead of Ishizu and Kaiba.

"Meet my deck master, Dragon Piper." A jar like monster came out from behind Zeran; he was playing a familiar tune with his whistle. This worried Kaiba, he knew it had some way of affecting his Blue Eyes.

Muhammad revealed his next. "Meet Queens Double." Ishizu found it funny that someone as powerful as Muhammad chose a weak monster like queens double. But she didn't dare laugh, truth be told Ishizu was actually scared of Muhammad.

"I choose Lord of Dragons as my deck master." A capped spellcaster stepped onto the field; he wore dragon bones for armor.

Finally it came to Ishizu, but she was still trying to decide. "I, uh, choose… um Agido." A red, metal version of the millennium eye appeared on the field. It had metal arms, with pincers at the end.

Zeran pointed his long, bone like index finger at Ishizu. "Ladies first, you'll start this duel."

As this was declared, Ishizu's deck appeared next to her. She drew her opening hand; the field was set up like a boxing arena. It was apparently chosen for Muhammad, each duelist stood in one corner. "First I will play Graceful Charity." An angel appeared out of the card, it wings spread concealing the three cards Ishizu just picked up. Ishizu then sent two monsters to the grave yard. One was a wind creature and one was an earth creature, they both appeared briefly on the field then blew up in to little squares of color. "Now I will set two cards face down, ending my turn." Two face down cards appeared on the field, Ishizu was confident she could defend both Kaiba and herself if need be.

Muhammad was the next to draw, telling everyone he would go next. "I'll set four cards face down and play White Magical Hat in defensive mode equipped with heart of clear water." A thin man appeared on the field, he wore a white tuxedo. Also he wore a white tope hat and a white cape to match. From the sky dropped a large water droplet, it surrounded him like a shield. Muhammad's hand was all played in one turn, Kaiba found this very interesting.

Kaiba drew, he studied his hand. Ishizu was wide open Muhammad had a lot of face down cards, he need to play with some caution. But he knew Ishizu wouldn't need to be defended, so he built up his own. "I'll set one monster facedown and one magic or trap card face down." Kaiba's cards were setup like Ishizu's face down cards.

"I'll play troop dragon in attack mode and set one card face down." Zeran had a weird smile, easily revealing his face down card was a trap. "Then my first victim will be Ishizu, Troop dragon attack." The small armored dragon took flight towards Ishizu. Ishizu wouldn't waste one of her cards on a worthless attack. So she just stood there and allowed the dragon to slice her in the stomach with its small sword. It sent a small pain through her stomach. Kaiba had felt stupid, he should have defended Ishizu.

Shaking of the last attack Ishizu picked up her next card. Ishizu was now ready to go on the offensive. "I will first special summon, Gilasaurus in attack mode." Out of the earth came a normal sized stone raptor. At first it seemed as if it was a statue, but then the stone was shaken off, revealing a raptor in the flesh. "Then I will remove my Kotodama and my all seeing white tiger from my graveyard, to special summon Silpheed and Gigantes in attack mode." From the sky floated down a purple man, who wore green clothes. The wind blew his extended front and back of his shirt wildly. He had a green wand, with a wing on the end in his right hand. Next to Silpheed a giant rose up from the ground. He had on a breast plate and a roman like skirt. (Like what the guards wore.) He had spiked bracelets on each wrist and a tree in his left hand.

Ishuzu's had based this deck on special summoning and it was working well. "Now, I believe I owe you for attacking me, Gialsaurus, Silpheed, Gigantes attack Zeran." The Gilasaurus was the first to attack; it ripped a Troop dragon into pieces. Another replaced it and was destroyed by sharp winds commanded by Silpheed's wand. The third was crushed by the powerful swing of Gigantes' tree. After each initial attack, some of the damage was transferred to Zeran, making him lose 3600 life points. He groaned with pain, but he had a way to help himself.

Zeran groaned while he spoke. "I activate my face down card, Enchanted Javelin, increasing my life points by 1900." With a sigh of comfort, Zeran's life points rose from 4400 back up to 6300.

"My turn, now I'll reveal my facedown cards; Pot of Greed, Jar of Greed, Graceful Charity, and Reckless greed." Kaiba was shocked how quickly Muhammad thinned out his deck. "Since I don't want to keep you in suspense, I'll discard two monsters from my hand, and then activate infinite cards allowing me to have a hand as large as I want." Muhammad's monsters exploded like Ishizu's, except the pieces where different colors. Kaiba was now worried; he had no cards in this deck to make Muhammad discard.

Kaiba just shook off his worry, he forced himself to focus. "I'll play X- Head Cannon in attack mode and then I'll have it attack Zeran." The X- Head Cannon pointed it guns and fired a set of mortars at Zeran's undefended chest.

"White Magical Hat defend." The caped man disappeared into his cape and reappeared in front of Zeran, the water around him absorbed the blast.

"Why didn't your White Magical Hat get destroyed?" Kaiba was furious; the monster was too weak to with stand that blast.

"The Heart of Clear Water protects it from being destroyed." Muhammad had planned on defending Zeran. That's how there team worked, Muhammad was like the permanent defender.

"Well I'll draw and end my turn; as long as Muhammad is around I'll be defended." Zeran was too cocky and too dependent on Muhammad's skill. Ishizu was going to destroy him with that bit of knowledge.

"I'll draw and just end my turn for now." Ishizu had to wait until Muhammad attacked, then she could destroy him.

Muhammad wasn't worried about Ishizu's face down cards, she had nothing to stop a direct attack. "First I'll play Monster Reborn, and bring back my Oppressed People from my graveyard in attack mode." A crowd of slaves appeared on the field, they were so badly over worked their attack points were only 400. "I will then summon another Oppressed People in attack mode." Another group of beaten slaves appeared on the field, just as weak as the last. "Then to strengthen my people I'll play Triangular power, this will increase their attack points by 2000." Triangular beams of light fell over the two groups of slaves, it healed all of them. They were all now in peak fighting condition and they were ready to kill. "Next I will activate Queens' Double's special ability, at the cost of 5000 of my life points all monsters on my side of the field with the base attack of 1000 may attack you directly, regardless of your monsters on the field." Crystal appeared in the backs of each monster of Muhammad, they all began to glow. "Now finally I will play one mega morph on each of my Oppressed people, doubling their attack strenghth." Kaiba was horrified; he could only rely on Ishizu's face down cards. Which of course Kaiba hated to rely on any one, but himself. "Now my monsters attack Ishizu directly." The two groups made a large army and were followed up by the White Magical Hat.

"Game over Muhammad, I activate Negate attack and trap hole to destroy White Magical hat." As they got ready to strike Muhammad's monsters stopped. Then

Muhammad didn't think that the face down cards were one to block attacks, only because she didn't activate it when she was hit by the Troop Dragon. His whole entire strategy was thwarted by Negate Attack. Muhammad had really nothing left; his whole plan was one turn kill, his 1, 2 Punch. Muhammad never counted on Ishizu bluffing. Now at the end of his turn his people would be destroyed.

Kaiba was loved watching people squirm and Ishizu's expert timing was perfect. His already good mood kept getting better and better with each turn. This duel was over and both Muhammad and Kaiba knew it was.

"Muhammad, why you lookin' like that?" Zeran was worried about Muhammad, he was his teammate. Zeran couldn't fend off two duelists at once. "Hey get focused, we gotta recover or we'll lose." Zeran's voice was filled with fear.

"Don't you get it you little worm, your teammate's whole strategy has been destroyed." Kaiba was smiling, but he was angry at Zeran's ignorance, and his lack of patience. "He may not even have a way to defend himself; one he can't draw next turn, and two he'd have to find another way to win in one turn."

"Kaiba if I can't win, I can still go down fighting." Muhammad had regained his focus. "Something I found in boxing is, that all good fighters need a coach, so meet my deck's coach." "I'll activate last will, getting my Coach goblin from my deck." A folded up will appeared on the field, it opened up revealing an old goblin. He was holding a cane, with a patch over his left eye, and had a towel over his shoulder. "I'll play him in defense mode and activate his effect, which allows me to return one normal monster to my deck and then draw one card." He showed them a Bio mage card and slipped it into his deck. He then drew his top card and placed it in his hand.

"We now get to crush you and Zeran, first I will tribute my face down Y Dragon Head for my Beast of Talwar." From the shadows appeared a great fiend, he was very muscular, and his skin was green. In each hand he held one of the two Talwar swords, each were about as long as its arms. "Beast of Talwar attack Zeran direct, with your Shadow Cut." The beast slashed the air twice, sending two long tears of shadow towards Zeran. He hoped that Muhammad would defend, but he didn't. His exposed body was terribly hurt, he was furious now; he was on his own against Kaiba and Ishizu.

Zeran maliciously drew his next card; he couldn't believe Muhammad didn't defend him. "Muhammad, I can see you're not willing to help me, so now I'm on my own." Zeran shot evil glares towards the still recovering Muhammad.

A little mad, Muhammad couldn't afford to defend himself and Zeran. "You idiot, I'm almost beaten here, and you still expect me to defend you." "You need to worry about your own damn self, not just letting me defend your stupid ass." He wanted to win, but he had spent this duel so far defending Zeran more than himself.

"Well now I'm down to 3900 thanks to you." Zeran's whining was beginning to irritate Kaiba.

"Just make your move and be quick about it." Surprisingly Ishizu was the one who said something. Kaiba turned his head in shock, Ishizu never got angry in a duel.

"One moment," Zeran had to really plan out his next few moves, "I'll summon Asura priest with a Black pendant equipped." Out of Zeran's card came a blue monk like creature. The only thing strange about it was the black pendant in its chest. The pendant was feeding the priest a terrible black aura, it was strengthened by it. "Now my priest, attack all of Ishizu's monsters with thousand hands strike." Just as Zeran commanded, the priest unleashed a flurry of karate chops to Ishizu's monsters. A few of the chops hit Ishizu, dropping her life points by 1900. Her life points now stood at 5300, these assaults were starting to take a toll on her body. "Finally I will set one more card face down and end my turn." After his turn ended the Asura priest returned to his hand.

Ishizu was in pain as her turn came about, but she had enough focus to know what to do now. "First I'll move my deck master to the field." This shocked Kaiba, he could have defended her. Why would she risk this?

Ishizu's deck master began to explain its special ability to her through ESP. "Ishizu, if I'm destroyed you're allowed to roll a die, and whatever it lands on your allowed to summon a new deck master from your graveyard with that same amount of stars." Ishizu hadn't been confident in her deck master, now she was glad that she had chosen it.

"Next I'll draw…" Ishizu was cut off by the cackling of Zeran.

"Wrong, I activate Drop off." An invisible force his Ishizu's wrist, making her drop the card. Before it hit the ground, it disappeared to the graveyard.

"Fine, I'll end my turn." Ishizu wasn't discouraged; she was pleased that she had plenty of monsters in the grave yard.

"First I will draw, then I will insert my Lizard soldier back to my deck, and draw another card." This had been a very rare occasion, Kaiba was worried. Ishizu had brought her deck master to the field; in his point of view she had just thrown away the duel. "Next I will play smashing ground; this will destroy Ishizu's deck master making her lose the duel." A giant fist crushed the ground opening a giant fissure under the Agido. As the monster fell and the fissure closed up, a die appeared on the field.

"Hey what's the deal, aren't you beaten." Zeran was hoping that Muhammad had just defeated Ishizu.

"My deck master's special ability allows me to roll a die and depending on what I roll means the level of the monster from my graveyard I can summon up." Ishizu was smiling as the die began to roll.

"Oh no, she could possibly summon up an even stronger deck master." Zeran was once again, scared out of his mind. All his plans of permanently owning a Blue Eyes White Dragon was fading away, he hadn't even been able to summon his stolen dragon.

As the die spun on the field, everyone anticipated what it would land on. It started to slow, time nearly stopped as it fell. With a gasp of excitement, Ishizu watch it fall on six. One of the hardest numbers to roll and she was lucky enough to get it. Now Ishizu would bring out one of her deck's most fearsome creatures, Archlord Zerato. The die exploded, it sent shards of itself everywhere. As the wind picked up the dust was blown away, only to reveal the monster. It stood tall its green wings spread open, light reflected of his purple skin. He was muscular, more so than you'd expect from an angel. He wore a green helmet, with a red cloth the covered his mouth, and neck. The rest of the cloth fell behind him, it was like a cape, but it wasn't a complete cape. Around his waist he wore a long blue loin cloth, it nearly touched his feet. It was held up by a belt, it had a large golden sphere in the center. In his right hand he held a giant sword, the curved to the left towards the top.

"I'm going to end my turn." Muhammad was worried now, in the next few turns either he would be destroyed or Zeran would be.

Kaiba took a minute and marveled at Ishizu's god like deck master. Kaiba had to snap out of it, it was now his turn. "Zeran you made a very fatal flaw your last turn, you left yourself wide open for attack." Zeran had forgotten about the fact that spirit monsters return to you hand. Before Kaiba continued his move, he noticed he still had a trap face down. Giving it some thought, Kaiba had remembered what he set face down. It was his Ring of Destruction, the card that could end the game for Zeran or Muhammad. "First of I will play Z- Metal Tank and then play Monster Reborn to bring back Y- Dragon Head." A red metal dragon flew down to the field, it was also accompanied by a metal scorpion like tank. "Now I will fuse the three together to make XYZ Dragon Cannon." Three fused together making a fearsome robotic behemoth. "Now I will send one card from my hand to the graveyard, allowing me to destroy you Coach Goblin." The card appeared on the field, it was then shot out of the XYZ cannon slicing the Coach in half. Muhammad sank to his knees; his only defense was just annihilated. "Now I will have my beast of Talwar attack Zeran and have my XYZ Dragon Cannon attack Muhammad." The Beast sent to tears of shadows at Zeran again and XYZ shot two mortars into Muhammad's chest. Both the attacks dropped the duelists; neither could muster up the energy to groan. But Kaiba's assault had one last trick. "Now I activate my face down trap Ring of Destruction and I tribute my Beast to hit both Zeran and I with the blast." As this happened a ring with 5 grenades appeared around the Beast of Talwar, a few seconds later the exploded. The blast dropped Kaiba's life points down to 6600, but Zeran's dropped to Zero. He laid on the ground unconscious.

"Well I guess it's my turn now, Zerato destroy Muhammad." The Archlord walk to Muhammad and slashed his life points down to zero. As his life points dropped to zero, Ishizu's and Kaiba's decks disappeared. The only thing that remained was their deck masters. They each walked over to pick up their prizes; Kaiba took his Blue Eyes and Zeran's card from Pegasus. It was one called Spirit Revolver, it was an effect monster, effect: while this card is face up on the field, put one spirit token face up on this card each time you or your opponent plays a magic card. (Max Six) Then you may tribute one token to destroy 1 magic, trap, monster, or to do 400 to your opponent's life points. (This damage is counted as effect damage). This card disappeared also, but just like his reacquired blue eyes and his card from Pegasus, it would automatically be placed in his deck. Ishizu searched through Muhammad's deck, the first thing she found was Ghost Knight of the Jackal. She took that and then searched out his card from Pegasus. It was called Hidden Creature, it was a trap card. Effect: when this card is destroyed while it is face down, you may summon one monster from your graveyard. Her cards did the same as Kaiba's had done. As the cards disappeared so did Muhammad and Zeran.

"Damn Muhammad failed, the next challenge I send for Kaiba, Yugi, or James will have to be much stronger than him." Pegasus banged his fist on the table; he wanted this to be as hard as possible for Yugi, Kaiba, and James.
