Rei sighed. There was no way that she was going to be able to wait until she could find him alone. She wanted to talk to Malik right now.

She jogged down the stairs and into the kitchen. She grabbed her purse and keys off the kitchen table and left.

She definitely wasn't going to call him up and discuss something that important! Hell no! This was WAY too personal and she wanted to be able to read what he was thinking.

As she drove to his place she thought over what she would say. It wasn't quite dinnertime yet so she knew that he would be home and most likely not busy with anything at the moment, the perfect time to talk to him. She nodded her head for affect as a smile drew upon her glossy lips. She felt all giddy again. She was in love with him and wanted so much to tell him her real feelings but she knew that she had to give him time. They had to form something…lord. What if he had used her? No. No, she refused to believe that. Malik had known her since they were just little kids. There was no way that he would seriously hurt her like that. He HAD to have feelings for her. And besides, he was Duke's friend. Malik had to know that Duke would kill him.

Rei felt herself nod again, feeling reassured as she pulled up his long drive and parking. She grinned as she spotted his black sports car and jumped out of the car and practically skipped over to the large double doors.

She rang and waited. She heard someone approach and plastered a smile upon her face.

"Well, hello dear! You must be looking for Malik." Mrs. Ishtar said, smiling warmly. "He's upstairs studying with a friend. Go on right up. I'm sure he won't mind."

"Thanks!" Rei grinned.

She quickly descended the stairs that lead to the hallway that Malik shared with his sister. Forgetting to knock she pushed the door that was open a crack all the way open and peered inside with a wide grin. A wide grin that froze as she took in the scene before her.

Malik was sitting cross-legged on his plush carpet, leaning back on his hands, perched on his lap was a cute little blond that was in the process of unbuttoning his black button down shirt. She was kissing his neck.

Rei blinked. No. She wasn't seeing this….was she?

This awful feeling began to rise in her stomach, almost a sick feeling. She blinked again. She was really seeing this…

A cold chill slithered down her spine, sending a trembling throughout her body. She slowly clenched her fists tightly together to help prevent it. But it was useless.

She failed to notice the blank, almost unseeing look he had on his face while the girl was kissing and undressing him. Almost like he wasn't even in the same room as her. All she could see was what was happening right before her eyes. Wondering how she could have been such a fool to believe that he would ever return her feelings.

Malik had sensed her presence and turned his far off gaze towards the door. He had blinked thinking that he was being delusional by seeing the constant object of his thoughts.

Flashes of yesterday flashed through his mind as he gazed at her. He felt his body come to life but then shut down again in disgust as he suddenly felt the other girl's hands and lips upon him. What had gotten into him? What was this girl doing here? Why had he brought her home? What the hell was he thinking?!

For the first time in his life Malik felt lost. He felt like what was unfolding in front of him was something that he couldn't control for a change. He was usually able to control everything that involved his personal life.

Who the hell was he kidding? He had been pining over the raven goddess in his doorway for nearly two years now. Hoping that he would someday get over it he refused to get near her…but he failed. He would like to say that he failed miserably but that would be an out right lie. Yesterday had been the greatest experience that he had ever had out of his entire life. He had never felt the way he did about anyone. His feelings for Rei were indescribable.

He swallowed as a large lump that rose in his throat. What had he done…?

"Rei..?" He spoke so softly he wondered if she even heard him.

She didn't hear him. Just stared. Stared not wanting to believe that the man she loved was allowing some other girl wrap herself around him.

Her chest suddenly began to hurt as a sharp pain began thumping continuously inside her. Was this what it felt like to have your heart ripped in two? No matter how badly she wanted to she couldn't seem to tear here eyes away from the scene before her.

"Rei..?"

She finally snapped back to reality and focused completely on Malik.

"What did you call me?" The blond asked in irritation. "My name is Cindy."

Malik seemed to snap out of whatever it was he was in and glared fully at the blond in his lap. "Get off me. Now."

Cindy blinked and stared at him. "What's wrong? You were fine a minute ago."

Rei swallowed the bile that felt like it was climbing up the back of her throat. She couldn't witness another thing. She didn't want to see anything more. She needed to leave. Now.

She swiftly turned on her heel and raced back down to the front doors.

"Rei sweetie? Are you alright?" Mrs. Ishtar asked in concern.

Rei couldn't answer she just quickly put her shoes on and raced out of the house.

Amy inwardly sighed. No matter what she couldn't seem to enjoy herself. She felt Yami wrap his arms around her hips and he nipped at her neck.

Nothing. She felt absolutely nothing. In fact. She didn't seem to want him to touch her… What has gotten into her? Why was she suddenly feeling this way?

"What's the matter?" Yami asked softly as he turned her around in his arms so she was facing him.

"Nothing, why?"

"You seem…I don't know…not really with me here." He replied.

"I guess I'm just tired and a little worried about Tea." Amy replied with a sigh.

She was telling at least half the truth. She really was a bit worried about her friend. Tea was fine now and at home but she was still blaming Serenity for her accident. Serenity exclaims that she had nothing to do with whatever happened. Somehow, Amy believed her.

But Tea wasn't the main issue on her mind. No, in fact someone who shouldn't be there was occupying every space in her mind. Bakura.

She could still feel his kiss and remember the tingling that went with it. She had never felt anything like that from any other person she had locked lips with. Why was Bakura suddenly so different? He was her rival! She hated him…at least…she thought she did. She really wasn't sure anymore.

Amy grimaced at that thought and snapped out of her thoughts when she discovered that Yami had been speaking to her.

"I'm sorry, what?"

Yami sighed and pulled away from her. "Amy, what is it? You can talk to me you know."

She nodded but still stayed silent. How do you tell your boyfriend that you're thinking about another guy? That's just it. You don't.

Yami scowled at her and picked his keys up off his island counter. "Come on. I'll take you home."

She said nothing as they walked out to his car and hopped in. She felt terrible. But what was she suppose to do? She couldn't talk to him. She needed to talk to someone though.

Rei wiped the tears that were running down her face with her arm. She had chanted in her head that she refused to cry and look what she was doing? It was DISGRACEFUL! But…she loved him and he hurt her. Without even a thought he went out of his way to hurt her the next damn day! How could anyone be so fucking cruel!?

Rei was going to go and seek comfort from Amy but saw Duke's house coming into view. In the state she was in it was wise for her to get off the road now.

She pulled into Duke's drive and stumbled out of the car. Why couldn't anything just go right for her?! She wanted to scream as she forcefully slammed her car door shut.

She noted that Duke's parents weren't home yet and literally sighed shakily in relief. She need to speak to someone…she needed a shoulder to cry on. She couldn't do this alone. Not with it being over Malik Ishtar.

She choked on another sob as flashes of what she'd witnessed flashed through her mind again. She sucked in a breath and reached for the front door's knob, blinded by the welling of new tears. She turned the knob and tried to open the door but found she could.

"Why-" Then realization dawned on her. It was locked.

"No!" She sobbed. No one was home!

She made a sound of frustration and pounded her fist into the door. She wanted to scream in rage! She wanted to hurt someone, something! Anything to make this awful feeling go away! But it seemed that even hitting the door wasn't helping her at all.

She sobbed uncontrollably as she slowly slid down the door until she was a bundle heap sitting in front of it. She tried to hug it for dear life, anything to make her feel better.

"Malik…why…?" She sobbed.

"Good! You've come home! We're going over to the Ryoui's for dinner." Amy's mom said as soon as she entered the house.

"What!?" Amy gaped. "Can I skip?"

"Well, I was going to allow you because you weren't here. But now that you are, you're coming." Her mother replied with a wicked smile.

Amy groaned and rolled her eyes. So much for talking to Rei. That was going to have to wait until she got back. "When are we leaving?"

"Right now."

Amy gaped. "What!? Why now?!"

"Amy! Will you stop acting all hyper and relax! You now that I like to get over there early so I can help with dinner. Now stop fussing and get out the door!"

Amy wondered outside of Bakura's house and walked slowly around the still water of the swimming pool. It was very warm out but it wasn't overly hot. She could go for a swim while she waited for supper though.

She had been trying since she arrived to not think about Bakura's kiss. But she was failing and it was beginning to drive her insane! Why the hell was demon spawn invading her mind anyway?! They were RIVALS! And because they are RIVALS that means that he shouldn't be anywhere near her thoughts! Damnit!

An idea suddenly came to mind and she nodded in acceptance. She was going ask him WHY he kissed her to begin with! Yeah, it was plaguing her mind because she was curious. It was a move that Bakura had never pulled before.

Amy nodded again and went back into his house, immediately going up to his room where she knew that she would find him.

"Don't you knock?" Bakura scowled as Amy pranced into his bedroom and plopped down onto his bed.

"What for?" She said absently as she looked over his room.

He had posters covering his wall in all different types of bands like, Disturbed, Eminen and Linkin Park, basically all the bands that she loved.
***********
Bakura gave her a funny look before scowling again. "What do you want?"

Amy took a breath and closed her eyes for a second, clearing her mind. She then turned and looked at him. He was sitting at his computer with his elbow on the desk beside the keyboard, his hand holding his head up in what appeared to be a bored look.

"I want to know something."

"I wanna know a lot of things but I don't get answers. Now get out." He said before turning back to his computer, a look of concentration filtering onto his features.

"Why did you kiss me?" Amy blurted out fast.

She watched as he froze and stared wide-eyed at his screen. A slight blush accented his cheeks. He growled suddenly and stood up. "Get out of my room!"

"Answer the question." Amy commanded with a look of determination.

"No. Now get out." He snapped.

"No! Just tell me!"

"It's none of your business."

Amy snorted. Like hell. It was her mouth that he kissed! "I'm not leaving until you tell me."

"Fine! I'll leave then." He snapped in frustration.

Amy raised an eyebrow as he stormed over to the doorway. "But this is your room?"

"The last time I tried to remove you it didn't work out so well." Bakura grumbled before he left.

Amy jumped off his bed and chased after him. "Well, then I'll just follow you around the house until you do tell me."

Bakura stopped in his tracks and took a deep breath. "Leave me the hell alone!"

"Nope." Amy was beginning to enjoy this torment she was now giving him. She was annoying the hell out of him and he couldn't get away from it. Perfect. She liked that. Serves him right! He had a nerve for kissing her and now this was punishment!

Bakura swung around and scowled darkly at her. "Why do you want to know?"

Amy's smirk flopped. She wasn't expecting him to ask her why. And she wasn't damn well going to tell him that she couldn't stop thinking about it!

She shrugged. "Curious I guess."

"Oh really." He drawled, a slow smirk forming upon his face.

"Yes really." Amy replied uncertainly. Why did she have a not so good feeling by that smirk Bakura was showing.

Her eyes widened as Bakura began to advance on her. "Umm…what are you doing?"

Bakura shrugged. "I'm `curious' as to know why you're `curious' about the kiss."

"I-I told you! I'm just curious." Amy sputtered with wide eyes.

"Somehow…I really doubt that's all it is."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Amy said stubbornly as she backed up.

"Oh really now? You know…you never really were a very good liar." Bakura drawled as he advanced, quicker.

"Hey-" Amy sputtered again as she suddenly found herself pinned in between Bakura and the wall. How the hell did she end up against the wall?

"What's the matter? You were so determined to follow me everywhere until I told you why I kissed you." Bakura smirked widely, moving an inch closer.

Amy said nothing. She was too busy wondering why her pulse was racing and why Bakura was looking at her like she was pray!

"You know what I really think of this `curious' thing you seem to have?"

"No…what?" Amy gulped.

"I think that's just a cover up…"

"I don't know what you're talking about." Amy grumbled.

"Really now? I'm sure you do."

"No, I don't."

Bakura, shrugged, advancing another inch closer. "I think that it's on your mind. I think that you can't stop thinking about it."

Amy just scowled at him. Good lord. He knew her a lot better than she thought.

"And I think that you're thinking I'm right. Hmmm?"

"Bakura-"

Amy squeaked when he suddenly pressed his body to hers. Her eyes widened comically as she felt every hard muscle.

"You know what I really think though?" Bakura whispered with an evil grin. "I think that you liked it…and want me to do it again."
