Chapter II:

Ryou walked upstairs to his bedroom and slowly changed into his pajamas (Karenu-anime: I'll leave what kind of pajamas up to you, our imaginative readers. We do not own you too.). He thought of all the times Bakura seemed a little bit nice to him, including this memory………………..

*****Flashback*********

Little Ryou at the age of 10 cried softly to himself. <<Why can't people stop hurting me? >> Bullies usually took great pride in themselves as they beat up poor Ryou.

Then there was a flash of light. Bakura stood there tall and proud, and looked at him with disgust. "What are you crying about now weakling?" Bakura snarled. Ryou slowly looked up with his tears still flowing on his face. "People are hurting me," Ryou said, "and kicking, punching, and screaming." Ryou looked down again.

Then he saw a handkerchief shoved near his face. He looked up. "Here, wipe your tears," Bakura said, "and stop crying." Ryou looked confused. "Thank You!! Ryou said slowly. He smiled. Bakura just disappeared back to the Ring.

Ryou looked around the empty room. He wished Bakura was at least here. Then he wouldn't be alone. He went to sleep crying, unknown that a person was watching him.

Bakura was sitting on somebody's house's ceiling looking at Ryou. He was upset that once again, he had made Ryou cry. He just needed to go away for a while, to take a breather. He didn't know if he should tell Ryou that he loved him too. He just didn't want to be hurt again. <<What should I do>> Bakura thought.
