Lee Anne: Hey ya'll. I just randomly had this idea for a story pop in my head the other day! Don't worry…I WILL update my other stories too. I have like eight ideas for stories right now. Oo; Two ideas are for my stories, `Vampires' and `Yugi gets sick.

 

Bakura: Jessum girl. (Eye twitches)

 

Ryou: Don't listen to him. (Fwaps Bakura)

 

Yugi: Everyone hates me!! (Sobs)

 

Yami: I don't hate you, Aibou! (Huggs Yugi)

 

Yugi: (Smiles and huggles back) Yay! ^_^

 

Lee Anne: Alright! Now on with the story! Remember, I don't own Yu-Gi-Oh!, But I wish I did. Read and Review and please no flames! (Cries)

Chapter 1 - Without Me

 

Yugi sighed as he walked home from school. Yugi's grandfather had died not to long ago, and his friends, even his Yami, seemed to have been leaving him out of everything. Yugi didn't feel like he was part of the gang anymore. Yugi didn't know if they hated him for something he said or did. Yugi kept thinking about this whole situation, as he reached the Game Shop. Yugi reached into his pants pocket and pulled out his house key, and unlocked the door. Yugi walked in, closing the door behind him. Yugi walked over to the Shop's counter. There was a note laying on it. Yugi picked it up, unfolded it and read what it said.

 

Yugi,

I have gone over to Jounouchi's house. I don't know when I'll be back. This means you must stay home and watch the Game Shop. Don't bother making me anything for supper either. I'll just buy something on my way home.

- Yami

 

Yugi felt more depression come over him as he finished reading the note. His best friend, Jounouchi, would rather have his Yami over at his house then him! Yugi threw the note away in the trash can next to the counter and walked his way up the stairs, to the living room. Yugi dropped his backpack next to the couch, before flopping down on his back on the couch. Yugi felt like his heart was about to burst out of his chest. Yugi rolled onto his stomach, laying his head on a couch pillow. Yugi sighed lightly, and closed his eyes, drifting off to dream land…
