Part 7: The births

Ryou had spent the last two days sitting on the couch. Bakura wouldn't let her do any thing. The only time she was aloud to get off the couch was either to go to bed or the bathroom. She would get up every so often when Bakura wasn't in the room watching. Ryou looked around to see if Bakura was any ware in site, he wasn't so she stood and stretched I bit. Bakura came into the living room with a plate and some orange juice. "What are you doing?" He asked walking over and setting the food on the table. "I thought I told you to stay on that couch?"

"I have been sitting here for two days! I needed to stretch for a little bit!" Ryou almost yelled. Bakura looked at her as she stomped into the bathroom and slammed the door. Bakura was just worried about her; he didn't want her to hurt her self when she was this close to having the babies. He sighed and was just about to sit on the couch when he heard Ryou scream. He ran into the bathroom and found Ryou holding her stomach and sitting on the floor in a puddle.

"Ryou what's wrong?!" He asked dropping to side.

"It's time." Was all she was able to say when the first contraction hit. Bakura helped her back into the living room and set her on the couch. He went to the phone to call some one to give them a ride to the hospital. He thought of who he knew that lived the closest and could drive. First he thought of Yami and then Yugi. Yami was about a good of driver as Bakura was so he was out of the question, and so was Yugi seeing as how he was still to short to reach the petals. Next he thought of Seto he was the next closest and had a limo.

Picking up the phone he dialed Kaiba's number.

"Hello?" Mokuba answered.

"Is your brother there?" Bakura asked in a growl, he never really liked Seto but Ryou and him were good friends so he knew he would give them a ride.

"Oh hi Bakura. No he's not here right now, he took Jessie and Atsui to the game shop. Is something wrong?"

"No I just need him to give me and Ryou a ride to the hospital." He said, then hung up before Mokuba could say any thing elts. Then he called the game shop.

"Hello turtle game shop Yugi Moto speaking."

"Put Kaiba on!" He all but yelled in the phone.

"Oh hey Bakura. One sec…He Seto its for you." He heard Yugi say and hand the phone to Seto.

"Hello?"

"Kaiba I need you to give me and Ryou a ride to the hospital."

"And why would I YOU?"

"Not me Ryou, she's in labor you moron!"

"What?! I'll be right there." With that Seto hung up. Bakura went back into the living room with Ryou.

Seto was there with in five minuets. He helped Ryou out to the car and went to the nearest hospital. It only took twenty minuets with traffic. They took Ryou into the hospital and one of the nurses sat her in a wheelchair and brought her to the delivery room. Bakura had to fill out paper work that he had no clue about so Seto wound up doing it.

Bakura was pacing in the waiting room. By now every one had been called and was waiting there as well. Tristen and Serenity had already been there they had, had their baby earlier that morning, and didn't think about calling any one. After about thirty minuets every one saw a few more nurses run into the room ware Ryou was. Bakura grabbed a nurse on her way by.

"What's happening?" He glared at her when she didn't answer. Another nurse came out of the room.

"Mr., Bakura?" She walked up to him. He let the other nurse go and she ran into the room.

"What's going on?"

"The babies are find but your wife started bleeding and we can't stop it." She told him calmly. "We are doing every thing that we can but if we don't stop it soon then she will die." Bakura seemed to be in shock, he sat down in one of the chairs and just stared off into space.

"Are you ok sir?" She asked looking at him.

"He will be fine just leave him alone." Yami said. She nodded and went back into the room. 'No. not Ryou.' Bakura thought. Then he remembered the dream Ryou told him about, ware he saw Bakura holding two babies in the park and then he saw him at the sanitary. He was just about to go find Shigatsu to find out what the hell was going on when all time just seemed to stop.

There is no need to go find me. I am already here. She appeared in front of him. He grabbed her by the front of the shirt.

"Why is this happening to Ryou?!" He growled. "You told him he wasn't going to die!"

"He is not going to die!" She yelled back at him. "I am here to stop that." She ripped away from him and went into the room with Ryou, Bakura fallowed. She put a hand over him and closed her eyes. A light blue glow appeared from her hand and surrounded Ryou. She pulled her hand away and looked at Bakura.

"Don't worry he will be fine now. You should go back out there before I restart time." He nodded and went back out. As soon as he sat back down time went back to normal. He sat there for a few more minuets till the doctor came out.

"Mr. Bakura. We have good news; your wife is going to be just fine. We stopped the bleeding just in time." Bakura held in a snicker. Those idiots think there the ones who saved Ryou. "You may see her now if you wish." Bakura nodded and was led into the room with Ryou. She was sitting on the bed holding their babies.

"Come meat our kids." Ryou smiled at him. Bakura walked over to the bed and sat on the side and kissed Ryou on the cheek before he looked at his children.

"One is a boy and the other is a girl. What are we going to call them?" Ryou asked as she handed their daughter to him. She had silvery white hair like both Ryou and Bakura. And it stuck up like Bakura's. Not that she had too much hair yet but she had just enough so you could tell. She had light brown eyes that would remind you of caramel when you looked into them.

"Let's call her Ikuyo." Bakura suggested..

"That's a pretty name." Ryou looked down at their son. His eyes were looking around trying to take every thing in at once. His hair looked like his sisters only a little less spiky but not quite as flat as Ryou's. His eyes were dark brown; they looked almost like dark chocolate.

"Let's call him Aki." Ryou smiled and looked up at Bakura who nodded.

"Ikuyo, and Aki." Ryou yawned. It had been a long day, but she didn't want to go to sleep. But the nurse came in and took the babies and told her to get some rest. Bakura kissed Ryou again then left.

They were able to take the babies home in a week, witch was enough time for every one to get some stuff for them. Like cribs, cloths and toys. Bakura and Ryou brought Ikuyo and Aki into the house.

"Welcome to your home." Ryou smiled and set them in there crib. She went and sat down on the couch next to Bakura and laid her head on his shoulder. As soon as she started to fall asleep she started glowing.

"Ryou!" Bakura jumped up. When the light disappeared Ryou was back to her..his old self. ^_^

"I'm normal again." Ryou said happily and hugged himself. Bakura just smiled at him. It was nice to have the old Ryou back. Not that he minded Ryou being a girl but he didn't like the mood swings that he got.

Then there was a knock at the door. Ryou jumped up and answered it. It was Malik and Marik.

"Hello Ryou smiled."

"Ryou your. you again!" Malik said as he looked at Ryou up and down.

"Yes I'm me again. Come one in." Ryou moved out of the way to let them in. They walked into the living room to see Bakura playing with Ikuyo. Aki had fallen asleep. Malik looked at her then at Marik.

"See! If Bakura can get used to having babies then we can to!" He started the argument again. Marik sighed.

"No! I said no be for and I will keep saying it we are not turning you into a girl so we can have kids and that is that!" Malik pouted. He wanted a family as well, it wasn't fair. Just then every one heard a girl laugh.

Fine you don't want Malik to be a girl. A light surrounded Marik and Malik jumped back.

"What's going on?" He asked looking back and forth from Bakura and Ryou who didn't seem to be to surprise.

"Looks like Shigatsu is going to have some fun." Bakura said turning his attention back to Ikuyo.

You got that right Bakura ^_^

When the light faded Marik stood up, but he was still a 'he'. Ryou looked a little confused. Don't worry pretty Ryou you will see. She whispered to just Ryou.

Ok who wants it to end here? I know I don't but I want to know who elts wants to read the sequel? And by now you can guess who I am making the girl next ^_^ sorry I couldn't resist, he was just standing there and refusing to have Malik the girl he never said any thing about him not being a girl ^_^ well I am going to try and do the sequel as fast as I did this one till then Ja ne!
