When Yuki woke up, she found herself in the School Infirmary with Joey sitting by her bedside also Miho and Tristan had just came in.

"Guys?"

"Yuki you're okay!" shouted Joey, Tristan, and Miho in unison

"Guys calm down."

Joey cleared his throat and looked into Yuki's eyes.

"Yuki what happened back there? You just looked at Kaiba and you fainted."

"Well I guess I have to confess. You see guys, I use to have a boyfriend."

"Use to? What happened?" asked Miho

"Well…"

*Flashback*

"On the first day of my last school, I was defenseless and pathetic. I was pretty much a pushover. Anyway I was ganged up and I was about to be pounded into a pulp. That is until a guy came and saved me."

Yuki, who was wearing a gray female uniform, was backed up in a corner.

"What's the matter? Baby want a bottle?"

"I'm not a baby! Leave me alone!"

Yuki cringed back prepared to be struck but the hit never came however she did hear a few sounds.

When she opened her eyes she found the jerks who were bothering her on the ground and badly injured. Over the jerks was a guy that had brown hair, spiky bangs, blue eyes, and wore the boy's uniform.

"Are you alright? I mean you seemed frightened."

"Um yeah I'm fine thanks to you. Why did you save me?"

"I can't stand bullies that's all. Well see ya."

Yuki then grabbed the guy's arm and stared into his eyes.

"P-please don't go. You actually were being nice to me. Could you just hang out at the arcade with me?"

"Alright on one condition. We play 5 rounds of Marvel VS Capcom 2!"

Yuki smiled and walked with the guy.

"At the arcade, I found out his name was Marcus, I thought he was the sweetest guy I ever knew that is until about a week before I started at Domino."

Yuki, who was now starting to look a little more tomboyish, was walking to the back of the school.

Marcus looked a little different. His hair was much more messier and it was longer, he had bit of a grunge punk look.

"Yuki you made it."

"Of course Marcus. Why wouldn't I?"

Marcus then grabbed Yuki's shoulders and pinned her body to the wall.

"Yuki, we're boyfriend and girlfriend right? Then I think we should get a little more serious then pizza and video games."

Marcus then used a knife to cut Yuki's blouse. She then screamed and kicked him right in the face.

It knocked Marcus back and he got a nosebleed.

"You little bitch!"

Just as Marcus charged at Yuki, Yuki pulled her fist in front of Marcus and he ran straight into it.

(End Flashback)

"The punch knocked out Marcus and in that instant a school faculty member found me and expelled me for hurting Marcus."

"Oh Yuki we're sorry." Said Miho

"It's okay let's get back to class."

About 3 hours after Kaiba was reintroduced and Yuki, Joey, Tristan, and Miho got back to class, a tape started to play. It was a movie based on the Agatha Christie's murder mystery novel, "Murder in Mesopotamia".

Though Kaiba was a fan of Agatha Christie's works, he was not currently interested in the movie.

Kaiba looked around the class for a distraction. Joey Wheeler sleeping and drooling, revolting. Tristan Tailor making goo-goo eyes at Miho Nosaka who is just scribbling hearts and such on her notebook page, boring. Yuki Moto… apparently she was bored with the movie as well because she was concentrating on a Futurama fan comic she planed to give Joey and Tristan after school.

Kaiba was able to notice the writing on her hand and Yuki did put something on the other hand as well.

I dig my toes into the sand.

`That stupid bitch is an Incubus fan!?'

Well this is certainly a change of pace from all the other women Kaiba knew and met.

Well there was some more writing on the other hand so maybe it was something stupid or involved a crappy boy band.

A traffic jam when you're already late

A no-smoking sign on your cigarette break.

It's like 10,000 spoons when all you need is a knife.

It's meeting the man of my dreams.

And then meeting his beautiful wife.

Alanis Morissette? Well it would be a pretty safe bet to say that Yuki is unlike any other girl.

After class, Kaiba did a short background check on the tri-colored tomboy. He dug up quite a bit of dirt on Yuki. On her second day, she stood up to the Hall Monitor Ushio who is currently going under some serious therapy. Also she tried prevent a expulsion done by the Wicked Witch of Expel. She had also tried to assist the police in a capture for a very dangerous criminal.

But as Kaiba kept wanting know more about her, something struck him. Why did he want to know about her? All she did is kick his limo and faint at the first sight of him.

It was just something about her, it might have been her unique hair, or her face, or her violet eyes. Something about Yuki called out to Kaiba like a Siren to an idiot sailor.

The next day, Kaiba searched for Yuki. He had a plan and he needed her to complete it.

"Damn I'm out of life again!"

"Yay I won!"

Kaiba followed the voices and pushed his way through the group of students.

"Yuki"

Yuki turned around and saw Kaiba smiling.

"Oh Kaiba."

"Heh, it's fun watching you play."

Yuki smiled, he seemed very different from yesterday, like someone replaced the a-holeish Kaiba with a nicer non-evil twin.

`I can't believe I'm thinking this but… he's actually kind of cute when he smiles.'

"You wanna sit down Kaiba?"

"No thanks. Yuki, by chance did you bring the Blue Eyes White Dragon?"

"How'd you know? I begged my grandpa to let me take with me to school. Though I had to promise to not play it."

"Could you show it to me one more time? Ever since yesterday when I touched the card, I couldn't sleep! And… well… what your grandfather said made me realize what means to love the cards."

Yuki bit the bait, hard.

"Okay I'll show it to you!"

Yuki pulled out the card and gave it to Kaiba.

"It's a beautiful card"

`Stupid naive girl.'

What Kaiba said was almost true. He couldn't sleep but it was because he spent the night trying to make a counterfeit Blue Eyes White Dragon.

Unbeknownst to everyone, he replaced the real dragon with the fake.

He then handed the fake dragon back to Yuki.

"Thank you Yuki. Just holding this card makes me love the game even more."

Yuki stayed quiet, but what ever she was thinking was interrupted when Joey asked Yuki for a re-match.

After school, Kaiba laughed to himself.

`There is no way I'm going to lose at the next tournament!'

"Kaiba!"

Kaiba turned around and saw Yuki.

"Oh Yuki. Are you walking home?"

"Kaiba give me the card back… and when I say the card I mean the real one."

Upon hearing that, Kaiba knew he was seriously boned.

"I know you switched the cards. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to embarrass you."

"Y-Yuki you know as well as I do that I gave you your grandfather's card."

"Puh-Leeze you think I'm that much of an idiot!? I want the card back now!"

"I know nothing about it!"

"You have to know! That card is important to my grandpa if I don't give it back, my grandpa will be heart-broken. He's my family I can't betray him!"

Yuki was in tears now.

"Oh come on. Before you start complaining about your grandfather why don't you try to believe your friend?"

"You are not my friend Seto Kaiba! You are anything but my friend!"

Kaiba had about enough of the pathetic girl. He grabbed her hair and pulled her to his eye level.

Yuki screamed in pain and the tears started to flow faster. Her face was right in front of Kaiba's.

"I do not care about loving the cards or stupid things like that. Tell the old man that it's not how you play the game. It's whether you win or lose."

With that Kaiba dropped Yuki and kicked her.

Kaiba walked away but not before looking at the crying girl crawled up in a ball on the ground. Before his conscience could strike and give him the guilt trip of the century he ran far away. But if he stayed he would've heard Yuki muttering.

"Seto Kaiba you will pay for what you did. I will take back my grandfather's card, his heart back."

Unknown to some people, Seto Kaiba had two siblings.

A 10-year-old brother named Mokuba and a 7-year-old sister named Amara.

Mokuba had long black hair and violet eyes while Amara had long pink hair and blue eyes. Though no one is sure if Amara was really related to Kaiba by blood.

Anyway Amara was watching Mokuba play a video game but Mokuba's character died.

"I can never get past this stinking level!"

"Let me try."

Amara took the controller and she was doing pretty well. Just then the phone rang and Mokuba answered the phone.

"Hello Kaiba residence, Mokuba Kaiba speaking."

"Hello sweetheart. May I please talk to Seto Kaiba? It's very important."

"Who may I say is calling?"

"This is Yuki Moto, I need to tell him something ASAP. Could you please give him the phone?"

`She sounds nice. Even me and Amara have to agree that Seto needs to spend time with more people and less time with the company.'

"Sure I'll get him in a second."

"Thank you sweetheart oh and what was your name again?"

"Mokuba Kaiba, Seto's my older brother."

"I didn't know he had a brother! Well it was nice speaking to you Mokuba."

Mokuba giggled slightly to him it sounded like Seto had a lady friend, and what he meant by lady friend was that she wasn't just a friend.

Meanwhile Kaiba was admiring his prize, the Blue Eyes White Dragon. But his mind wandered and kept coming back to Yuki. His thoughts were doing that exact thing until Mokuba opened the door.

"Seto, phone for you. It's a girl." Said Mokuba playfully

No sooner did Mokuba say that he heard a shout from Amara.

"Yay I beat the level!"

Mokuba quickly gave the phone to Seto and ran downstairs to ask Amara how she beat the level.

"Hello?"

"Remember me? I'll give you a hint. You shouldn't kick girls when they're on the ground. We really hate it."

"Yuki?"

"Bravo, someone give the smart boy a brownie, he's right. Seriously hun you have my grandfather's card and I want it back."

"How many times must I tell you? I do not have your grandfather's card!"

"Care to duel for it? Those are the rules of Duel Monsters. How about it?"

"Fine we'll duel. Be at the mansion tonight."

Kaiba hung up the phone and growled.

`I hate to admit it but I think I underestimated her. But she's going to regret challenging me.'

It was midnight at Domino City and one of the guards at the Kaiba Mansion was busy… reading a dirty magazine.

"Excuse me sir."

The guard was caught by surprise and he threw the magazine. In front of the guard was a woman who had a figure that could give the ladies from his magazine a run for their money.

"Mr. Kaiba requested my presence. Can you tell me where I can find him?"

"Uh…"

It was then the guard remembered Kaiba's orders.

(Flashback)

"I have a guest coming tonight. You are to let her in no questions asked. Tell her I will be waiting for her in the pool house."

(End flashback)

"Um Mr. Kaiba is waiting for you at the pool house. Walk around the mansion to your left and you won't miss it."

"Thank you."

Just as Yuki passed she smiled, faced the guard, and waved her hand in front of his face.

"I never came here."

The guard's eyes went glassy and blank.

"You never came here."

Yuki waved her hand again.

"You will not remember your boss's orders."

"I will not remember my boss's orders."

Yuki then waved her hand one more time.

"You will continue to do what you did 5 minutes ago."

"I will continue to do what I did 5 minutes ago."

Yuki smiled and walked away.

`I love that trick.'

Kaiba walked inside to the pool house. He didn't want to risk the guards or Mokuba and Amara to interrupt. He flicked on the lights only to see a table, two chairs, and someone already here.

"About time you got here."

"How did you… never mind let's just get this duel over with."

Yuki chuckled and got off her chair giving Kaiba a better view on her.

Yuki was wearing black tube top with two thin straps from the gathered front tied around her neck, a black leather mini skirt that stopped mid-thigh, two belts criss crossed around the skirt, knee length black boots, three golden earrings on her left ear, 5 golden bracelets on her left wrist, 4 golden bracelets on her right wrist, two anklets on both ankles, and finally the strange pendent she always wore.

"Didn't anyone tell you that you shouldn't rush. If you do our duel will be riddled with mistakes galore."

Yuki walked back to the chair and sat down. She looked at Kaiba like a predator looks at her prey.

"Well? Are you ready?"

"Moreso than you. I still cannot believe you challenged me."

"Tsk, tsk once again you rush. This game is very different then the game you know."

"It doesn't matter what house rules are. I will beat you."

"Alright but don't say I didn't warn you."

GAME START

Kaiba drew his card and it was Ryu-Kishin Gargoyle.

`Hah a 5 star monster. You're going down Yuki.'

"I play the Ryu-Kishin Gargoyle!"

Soon the table started to shake. Kaiba was about to tell Yuki to stop but then the monster on Kaiba's card came to life.

"T-the c-card came to life!"

"I told you this game was different. Now I will play the oh-so-cuddly Blackland Fire Dragon!"

The monsters looked like large toys in front of Yuki and Kaiba. But to Kaiba they were a real-life nightmare.

Yuki smirked and scratched the dragon behind its horns like how a person scratches a dog's ears.

"Isn't he the cutest? He's like a puppy… okay a fire-breathing puppy with long sharp claws and fangs but a puppy none of the less. Now this puppy will burn your gargoyle."

The dragon followed his mistress's orders and destroyed the gargoyle.

"My monster is disappearing!"

"That's right Kaiba. Also whoever loses shall suffer the Penalty Game."

Me: Sorry people but this was how the manga chapter ended. Also I know it was weird with the "Yuki was writing song lyrics on her hands" but who doesn't do or at least tried that? Anyway I shall end my ramblings with the pop culture references section and with me asking you to R/R.

Pop Culture References

Soul Caliber 2 and Talim- Soul Caliber 2 was the first fighting game that I played on my gamecube. Talim was the first character I used to beat the arcade mode.

Marvel VS Capcom 2- This was the first 2-D fighting game I ever played. But I got my ass handed to me ala time limit.

Agatha Christie and Murder in Mesopotamia- Agatha Christie was one of the greatest mystery writers of all time. Obviously some of her books were turned into movies. I have yet to see the movie version of Murder in Mesopotamia but I am currently reading the book.

Incubus lyrics- I can never get this song out of my head. Incubus is an okay band. The song on Yuki's hand was "Wish you were here".

Alanis Morissette lyrics- Alanis Morissette is an okay artist. I don't like all her songs. But out of the songs I do like, I think "Ironic" is one of my favorites.

Stupidity must not go unpunished shirt- This was a line from the DBZ manga where a villain named Cell was attacked by the army and he didn't die and he says, "Stupidity must not go unpunished". Ever since I read that, I wanted a shirt that said that!

Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb- They are the hosts of a video game TV show called "X-Play" and they're very funny.

"Holy son of a!"- I do say this whenever I'm seriously ticked or surprised.

"Someone give the smart boy a brownie."- I think I heard this line with a different word in a cartoon.

Yuki's trick- This is basically the Jedi mind trick from Star Wars.
