Previously, on 2-Gen:

Kiyobi: "The Yin-Yang prophecy... to much good, or too much darkness, chaos ensues. There must be a balance of both. With the dark rage of my Serpent Night, and the heroic spirit of my Serpent Light, these two already great creatures fuse to one even greater creature: My Perfect Chaos Serpent!"

Kamik: "THAT THING IS STRONGER THAN A BLUE EYES!"

Kiyobi: "Sasuke! Slice up that facedown monster!"

Kiyobi: "This is for all the people you've already hurt! Serpent Night monsters! Attack him directly!"

Kamik (LP: 1150): "This isn't over until the last Life Point disappears."

Kiyobi: "Go make your last move."

Mina: "Come on Kiyobi! Destroy that fiend!"

Kamik: *I have no choice...* "I activate Soul Seal!"

Kamik: "Now, whoever loses will be sealed in the Soul Seal forever!"

Kiyobi: "Okay... let's go alreay so I can seal you in your own card!"

Kamik: "It's a whole new game now, my friend."

Episode 4: Curse

Kamik: "It's still my move."

Mina: "Whoever loses loses their soul... that's creepy."

Sherry: "I think my grandfather told me something about that before..."

Kamik: "I activate 'Ritual of the Masked Beast'! And since I don't need to tribute to summon anything, here comes my monster! Masked Beast! Rise!"

Kiyobi: "You can't be serious. Is that the best you can do?"

Kamik: "No. This is. Activate Change of Heart!"

Kiyobi: "NOT GOOD!"

Kamik: "I choose your Serpent Night Trainer! And since he dies from the touch of any Magic effect, say goodbye!"

-Serpent Night Trainer disintegrates-

Kiyobi: "Not my Trainer!"

Kamik: "Now that your protector is gone, I activate Raigeki!"

-Raigeki's thunder destroys all of Kiyobi's monsters-

Kiyobi: "This is bad. No, not bad. Worse."

Kamik: "Oh, the worst is yet to come! Activate Heavy Storm!"

Mina: "That destroys all the magic and trap cards on the field!"

Kamik: "Correct. Say goodbye to your last defense!"

-All Magic and Trap cards fly away from the Heavy Storm. (bad pun, I know)-

Kiyobi: "CRAP! I'm wide open!"

Kamik: "Masked Beast! Attack him directly!"

Masked Beast (3200) attacks directly.

Kiyobi (LP: 3400): "That hurt."

Sherry: "You all right?"

Kiyobi: "I'll be fine. I'm sure of it."

Kamik: "Your move."

Kiyobi draws: *With my Army Led By Serpents card gone, I can't bring back my monsters! I need to hope for a good draw...* "I activate Pot of Greed!"

Kamik: "Fine. Draw your last two cards."

Kiyobi: *Come on, I need a miracle!*

Sherry: *Come on Kiyobi!*

Mina: *Go for it!*

Kamik: *It's hopeless.*

Kiyobi draws two: *My last hope!* "I activate Monster Reborn!"

Kamik: "No way! What kind of luck is that?"

Kiyobi: "Good luck. Come back to me, Chaos Serpent!"

Mina: "Go Kiyobi!"

Kiyobi: "But I'm not that crazy to suicide with your Masked Beast. I set one card facedown and end my turn."

Kamik draws: "Heh heh heh... you should've attacked while you had the chance."

Kiyobi: "Say what?"

Kamik: "Activate Plastic Imitation!"

Sherry: "What kind of card is that?"

Plastic Imitation (OC)

Magic card

Place an "Imitation Token" on your side of the field. Then choose one monster on the field. That monster's attack and defense power will determine how much attack and defense power the Imitation Token will have. If the original monster is destroyed, Imitation Token is also destroyed.

The attack and defense match any one chosen monster.

Kiyobi: "Bad! VERY BAD!"

Kamik: "And I choose to imitate your Serpent!"

Kiyobi: "What good is that thing to do you? It dies when my Serpent dies! No, wait..."

Kamik: "Get it now? Plastic Imitation, attack your Serpent counterpart!"

Sherry: "They have the same exact attack power... that means that they BOTH lose!"

Plastic Imitation (3500) VS. Perfect Chaos Serpent (3500)

Both monsters are dead. No Life Point damage inflicted.

Kamik: "Now, Maked Beast! Attack Kiyobi directly!"

The Masked Beast (3200) attacks directly again.

Kiyobi (LP: 200) (weakly): "Like you said... this isn't over until the last Life Point is gone."

Mina: "Kiyobi doesn't look all right up there... we gotta help!"

Kamik: "Don't even bother. The Soul Seal prevents anyone from entering or leaving."

Sherry: "We can't rescue Kiyobi?! That's not good."

Kamik: "Not good for you. Good for us. Your move, if you even can, Kiyobi."

Kiyobi struggles to draw: "I'm a goner. Make your move..."

Mina: "KIYOBI!!!"

Kamik draws: "Excellent! Masked Beast! Attack Kiyobi one last time!"

Kiyobi: "HA! You fell for it!!!"

Mina, Sherry, and Kamik: "WHAT?!"

Kiyobi: "I activate Death With Honor!"

Kamik: "WHAT?!"

Death With Honor

Trap card

You can only activate this card if a direct attack would cause you to lose the duel. Both players' Life Points go to 0.

Mina: "What good is tha- Wait... Kiyobi's right!"

Sherry: "I don't get it."

Mina: "I've heard it all from grandpa Yugi. These soul capturing thingys can only capture one soul at a time. Since both Kiyobi and Kamik lose at the same time, that Soul Seal shouldn't be able to absorb either soul! If grandpa is right, the Soul Seal should just simply shatter from trying to eat both of them at once!"

Sherry: "Oh!"

Kiyobi: "Actually, I wasn't thinking that Mina... I just wanted to kill him with me. Guess I lucked out, huh?"

Mina teardrops: "I guess."

Kamik: "NO!"

-The Seal ejects Kiyobi and Kamik in opposite directions-

Kiyobi: "YIKES! AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

(Freeze!)

Kiyobi: "Well, I'm being propelled at about 35 miles per hour against that building right over there..." *points to a moderately close building, camera takes a peek*

Kiyobi: "And I'm heading straight for it. This is gonna hurt..."

(Unfreeze!)

-Kamik disappears-

Kamik's voice: "You got lucky, Kiyobi! I'll get you next time!"

-Kiyobi slams into a building, Mina and Sherry come to the rescue-

Sherry: "Kiyobi! Are you all right!"

-----

(Kiyobi's first person view)

Sherry: "Come on! You gotta stay awake!"

Kiyobi: "ugh....."

Sherry: "Kiyobi? Kiyobi! KIYOBI!"

(blur out)

-----

Sherry (shaking Kiyobi): "Kiyobi! Come on!"

Mina: "We better get him to a hospital right away!"

Sherry: "You're right. Where's the nearest phone?"

Mina: "You watch Kiyobi, I'll go look for a phone."

Sherry: "Ok."

-Mina runs off, Sherry sits right beside Kiyobi-

Sherry: *I hope he's all right. Or even just... alive. We've been through so much. I can't stand the thought of losing him!*

(Start flashbacks...)

Sherry: "Geez... the math test is tomorrow! I'll never get this lesson!"

*knock knock!*

Sherry: "Who is it?"

Kiyobi: "It's Kiyobi. Can I come in?"

Sherry opens the door: "Hey, Kiyobi. Come on in, but I'm busy studying for a math test tomorrow..."

Kiyobi: "You need some help?"

Sherry: "Why, I'd gladly appreciate it!"

-Sherry leads Kiyobi to the study room, where a bunch of notepapers and stuff lie around-

Kiyobi: "What's the test on?"

Sherry: "It's on Chapter 4."

Kiyobi: "This is an easy chapter. See, when you want to isolate a variable..."

Sherry: *Wow, Kiyobi's actually pretty cute... AND I'm learning!*

(About 30 minutes later...)

Kiyobi: "So you got it?"

Sherry: "Yeah! It makes complete sense! Thanks!" *kiss!*

Kiyobi blushes: "Well, it wasn't much..."

Sherry: "May I speak to Kiyobi, please?"

Ms. Kawazaki: "Sure, hold on."

...

Kiyobi: "Hello?"

Sherry: "Hey! Kiyobi!"

Kiyobi: "Hey Sherry! What's up?"

Sherry: "You doing anything?"

Kiyobi: "Naw... it's boring right now."

Sherry: "Same here. I was going to ask, you wanna go have some lunch?"

Kiyobi: "Sounds like a great idea! Where do you want to meet?"

Sherry: "How's about the Domino Mall?"

Kiyobi: "Sounds good. I'll see you there!"

(Kiyobi's house)

Kiyobi: "Hey mom! I'm going out with a friend."

Ms. Kawazaki: "You mean the girl who just called?"

Kiyobi: "Yeah."

Ms. Kawazaki: "Sounds like a date."

Kiyobi: "... I guess you could say that." *Actually, I never really thought of her THAT way... I guess it's worth a try.*

Ms. Kawazaki: "Here's some money. Try not to let HER spend too much."

Kiyobi: "Why?"

Ms. Kawazaki: "That's how you impress girls. I should know, I married your dad."

Kiyobi: "Good point. Thanks mom."

Ms. Kawazaki: "Don't cause any trouble now!"

Kiyobi: "I won't."

-Kiyobi leaves the house-

(I'm bad at date scenes, so if this is bad, i'm sorry.)

Kiyobi: "So, what do you want to eat?"

Sherry: "A burger sounds good."

Kiyobi: "Sure."

-Kiyobi and Sherry fall in line-

Sherry: "I'll have a hamburger, hold the pickles."

Kiyobi: "Me too, no tomatoes or pickles, please."

Cashier: "That'll be $7.23"

Sherry: "Oh shoot! I forgot my wallet..."

Kiyobi: "Don't worry. Here you go, sir." *Gives $8*

Cashier hands out change: "Thanks for coming by. Here's your burgers."

Kiyobi: "Thanks."

Sherry: "That's so sweet of you, Kiyobi!"

Kiyobi: "It was nothing, really."

-The two sit down and eat their lunch, talking about stuff. As they finish...-

Sherry: "That was a good burger."

Kiyobi: "The best in town, I have to say. Where do you wanna go now?"

Sherry: "Well..."

-Sherry pulls Kiyobi into various mall outlets, window shopping and playing arcade games.-

Sherry hugs a rabbit plushy: "I can't believe you actually got this for me!"

Kiyobi: "I just got lucky. Plus, that rabbit is just as cute as you." *Good thing I had the chance!*

Sherry: "Why, that's so sweet of you."

-Kiyobi and Sherry end up staring at each other for a while...-

Sherry looks away and blushes: "Heh heh... well... what time is it?"

Kiyobi blushes: "It's about 3:30."

Sherry: "I think I should be heading home now."

Kiyobi: "I guess, if you really HAVE to go."

Sherry: "Sorry. Bye."

Kiyobi: "See you."

Sherry: "Oh yeah, remember that test you helped me on?"

Kiyobi: "Yeah."

-Sherry pulls out a folded paper from her pocket and shows it to Kiyobi. (a 96%!)-

Kiyobi: "Nice!"

Sherry: "All because of you. Thanks."

Kiyobi: "It was nothing. Really."

Sherry: "Well, I should be going now. Bye bye..."

Kiyobi: "Later."

-Sherry leaves the mall, Kiyobi stays.-

(end flashbacks)

Sherry: *And I still have the rabbit you gave me...* *Sherry reaches in her backpack and pulls out a rabbit plushy*

-A car can be heard in the distance, only to close in. It was Akira.-

Sherry: "Akira?! What are you doing here?"

Akira: "I saw a flash, and I just drove this way..."

Sherry: "Poor Kiyobi..."

Akira: "HOLY-! What happened to him?!"

Sherry: "You mean Kiyobi? He fought this one guy with a 'Soul Seal'."

Akira: "What happened?"

Sherry: "It was a draw, and the Seal launched Kiyobi against the building right here."

Akira looks at the crack made by Kiyobi's crash: "Ouch... that must've hurt."

Sherry: "It did."

-An ambulance arrives, and Mina hops out-

Sherry: "Mina! What took you so long?"

Mina: "Sorry, Sher. All the payphones don't work!"

Akira and Sherry: "Say WHAT?!"

Mina: "I'm serious! Not even a dialtone."

Akira: "It seems as these people are more devious than I thought. I'm going to look into this. You girls stay safe."

-Akira hops into his car and drives away.-

Medic: "Where's the patient?"

Sherry: "Right here!"

-Two medics grab Sherry and place her on the emergency bed.-

Sherry: "HEY! Not me! Him!" *points to Kiyobi*

Medic: "Oh, sorry."

-Sherry gets off, and the medics put Kiyobi on.-

Sherry: "I hope he's all right." *Hugs rabbit plushy*

Mina: "What's that you have?"

Sherry: "A gift from Kiyobi."

Mina smiles devilishly: "You been going out with him?"

Sherry: "Yeah. So?"

Mina: "Nothing. Nothing. Really, don't worry about it."

Sherry: "Okay."

Mina: "I knew you two would make a real cute couple!"

Sherry gets flushed in the face: "Shut up Mina!"

-Mina and Sherry laugh.-

Medic: "We'll contact his parents as soon as we get an diagnosis."

Sherry: "Thanks."

-Ambulance drives off...-

Mina: "It's been a long day. I'm heading home."

Sherry: "Good idea. Good night Mina."

Mina: "Nighty night Sherry."

-Mina and Sherry walk their ways-

Sherry: *I hope he's all right.* "He'll be all right. I just know it." *Hugs plushy, making a cute squeak*

Kamik and Kiyobi's duel ended up in a draw, but only Kiyobi lost. As Kiyobi is out of the picture and in the hospital, the Dragon Hearts' plan is still underway. With Mina and Sherry targets in the Finals, will their limited knowledge of the Hearts' plan help them stop the Hearts from domination?
