Harry stood up feeling totally different, it was hard to describe, like you were looking at the world through someone else's eyes. But that was one improvement; he hardly noticed the dark anymore his new eyes seemed perfect for night vision. He stood up straight and noticed how effortless it was, it was like there was nothing holding him down, then he realized that that feeling his bones were devolving was his bones getting lighter. He figured that helped him fly so he turned back and looked at his wings, they were long and strong and covered in black feathers but he stopped looking himself over when Algernon said "well, I guess it worked, he's a demon, a fallen angel by the look of him". He looked over at Algernon who was leaning against a tree looking calm but everyone else was looking at him as if something was wrong, to he asked "what, what are you looking at". No said anything so he became irritated much quicker than normal and was about to demand an explanation when Hermione stepped forward and handed him a small hand mirror and kept glancing at his face but looking away again, Harry hesitated but looked into the mirror and then promptly dropped it.

The few seconds he saw was enough to scare him half to death, his hair was a bit longer but what had really scared him was his eyes, they were black holes like Algernon's but they had a small silver dot for a pupil and that was down-right creepy. He shuddered and considered turning back into a human but then he remembered what he had to do so he stopped thinking about turning back to human and asked Algernon "so what do I do now". She looked like she rolled her eyes but it was hard to tell since she had no visible, she said exasperatedly "now you have to practice attacks and dodging and things like that, and learning how to fly wouldn't hurt either". But then Harry remembered something and asked, "What is a fallen angel"? Algernon smiled and said "I'm glad you asked, about 50 years ago a demon `doctor' who had a grudge against angles wanted to invade the angel world, but they have words and talismans to prevent any demon entrance, so the doctor captured a few demons and injected them with angel DNA and created fallen angles, but the demons didn't like being used so the revolted and killed him and later isolated themselves and have established a colony on a very high mountain, and from what I have heard, multiplied, so they are enough now to be considered a demon species, they specialize in archery and short swords". When she finished the story, Kuwabara asked, "uh, can you repeat that", they all rolled their eyes and them Hiei said simply "do tell us, what is it like living in a constant cloud of stupidity". Kuwabara turned red and yelled, "Who you calling dumb you shrimp", Hiei said nothing other than "Hn" and walked over to a tree and jumped up to a low branch and stretched out and appeared to go to sleep.

Then Shadow who had been silent until then said "are you three going to turn into demons now or will Harry have to help us alone". Ron, Hermione, and Neville all removed their shoed and jewelry then stopped and looked each other waiting for the others to go first but Neville broke the stare off by taking a deep breath and putting the gem to his palm. First the gem sank into the skin and disappeared, then Harry felt something suddenly coming from Neville, he didn't know what it was but it made some part of him take notice, then Neville's skin began to darken and turn gray until he looked like a person carved expertly out of stone. Then the transformation ended and Neville looked around, and turning his head caused a grinding sound, then he began to move his arms in slow and sluggish movements. He seemed fascinated at how his arm moved and watched it move up and down several times before Ron cleared his throat and Neville realized what he was doing and stopped. Kurama then said "it is obvious that the gem turned him into a rock demon, but if my assumption is correct, the castle is made of stone, so he should be able to meld into the castle". Algernon nodded and said "that is correct fox, but before we focus on that we must train them to control their new forms" then she turned to Neville and asked "by the way, that transformation didn't seem to hurt you like it hurt Harry, why do you think that is". Neville shrugged and said "I don't know, it hurt a bit when it start but then I just couldn't feel a thing I still don't now that you mention it, I cant feel much of anything". Harry felt a surge of mild jealously at the fact that the pain of transforming seemed to be confined to him, but then it was Hermione's turn to try so he stopped worrying about his own mild problems to watch her transform.
