Kyo followed Mitsune as she walked through the woods. She eventually stopped and turned to look at him.

"Why are you following me?"she asked. The look in her eyes clearly said she didn't want company. Kyo glared right back at her.

"I just wanted to see if you wanted to spar. i don't know why I bothered i-"

"Why do you smell like a cat?" the question caught him off guard, and he stared at her speechless. She scoffed at the look on his face.

"You don't have to answer, I was just curious." shesaid, turning away. Kyo managed to see a slight shade of pink on her pale face.

'Don't know why I was paying attention."he heard her mutter. She pulled out a few slips of paper, which Kyo noticed looked like talismins (like the ones in Shaman King).

She muttered something as she placed on a few of the trees, all of them glowing blue.

"What the hell is that?!" Kyo exclaimed. Mitsune smirked.

"It's just a ward. The kind of training I do tends to bring some... interesting guests." She pulled her sword out of its sheath, and pionted it at him.

"I'll give you demonstration." she closed her eyes, and the sword began to glow with blue energy. She gripped it tightly and then lunged at him.

"Spirit gun!" Kyo's eyes widened as he saw Mitsune drop her sword and chnge her angle a bit, knocking him to the ground and landing on top of him. The usual puff of orange smoke was accompanied by a puf of red. As it cleared

four boys walked up to see an orange cat hissing at a red and white kitsune.
