Yusuke looked down at the two hissing animals in surprise.
"What the hell did you do that for!"shouted the orange cat. The red fox growled.
"I was savin yer sorry ass!" Yusuke
"Yeah, well you had better hope I don't change back or-" The cat was cut off when there was suddenly two large puffs of red and orange smoke. When it cleared the two were gone.
"Well, doon't just stand there like an idiot, throw us our clothes!" Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, and Hiei looked around, then spotted two teenagers, each standing behind a tree and glaring at them.Yusuke
grabbed the clothes he saw on the ground and tossed them to their owners. The two dove into the bushes, then came out fully dressed. The girl glared at them as she grabbed her sword of the ground.
"Why did you attack?" she said. The girl looked young, but her eyes were ancient and held a look that showed she had seen many things she wished she hadn't.
"You were attacking a human, and you're a wanted criminal." Yusuke said simply. The girl raised one red eyebrow.
"And, what are the charges?" she asked.
*mitsune's pov*
What could these bakas want?
"You've stolen an ancient artifact , and we're going to get it back." The ugly orange haired one said. The red head looked over at the one wit hthe gelled back black hair.
"Botan did say that they may not have actually stolen it. She did say that it did actually belong to a very old family, and Koenma just liked to claim he owned it." I narrowed my
eyes. The red head looked a little too familiar for my liking. Almost exactly like- no it couldn't be Shuichi. His mother left the second she discovered he would be the next to have the curse. I was pulled from my thoughts when
the short one pointed his katana at my throat.
"Well, are you going to hand over the necklace, or am I going to have to kill you." he said calmly. I sighed and pushed the blade away.
"If I'm correct you're talking about the cursed pendant. I cannot give it to you. I don't have it, and have no way of getting it." I said. How the hell do they no about it? i noticed Kyo was looking at me strangely, but i ignored it.
After all, it's not like it't the first time.
"Do you know where it is?" the red head asked. I glared.
"Yes, but I ain't gonna tell ya!" I thought about this though. If I told them, and they took it, then all our misery will be over... We'll finally be able to die... No, I'm the only one who wants to be normal. Damn my conscience!
"Mitsune! Where are you!" I flinched when I heard the familiar loud and annoying voice. Liona and those other people walked into the clearing.
"Damn damn damn damn damn! Why must I be tortured so?! What have I done?!" I shouted to the sky, earning strange looks from everyone.
"I could name a few things." I turned to glare at my cousin.
"Shut up." I snapped. I turned to the other people and sighed.
"All I wnated to do was train...*sigh* that apparently isn't happening. Okay, listen up 'cause I'm only gonna say this once. I can't give you the pendant. If I do, then I will be responsible for the death of over half my family. I don't feel like going into
detail, so I'll make it simple. My family is cursed. The pendant is the source of this curse, which the morons I call my relatives took about 200 years to find out. Anyway, the curse picks random people in our family. On their 14th to !6th birthday, the curse takes effect.
From then on, whenever they are hugged by someone of the opposite sex that's outside the family they turn into whatever animal they're most like. Ie, cheating liars tend to turn into snakes or rats."I added mentally in my head, and lying, cunning theives tend to be foxes.
Liona blinked, then stared at the boys in front of me.
"What's going on?"
