21: Dreams and Endings
~*~*Belle*~*~
I opened my eyes and gasped as I sat up, my long, black hair fell around me in a river. I blinked as I looked around me slowly. How did I get here? I was in a bed, it was as white as snow and my skin was almost that white. I studied the bed, it was circular and placed against a wall. Attached to the ceiling was a ring where several sheer, white curtains were attached to fall around the 'head' of the bed. I looked through the sheer material to see the rest of the room was just as white. I stood up and something long moved behind me. I whipped around to look at a long, black boa. It twitched and I blinked as I focused and the tip curled. I looked down at my robes, also white. They were Japanese-style, like an under robe. The hem ended at my knees, the sleeves ended halfway between my elbow and wrist. I looked at the back to see that my long tail was coming out of a hole. I slowly wrapped my tail around me and looked at the room.
The floor was carpeted with softest material my feet had ever touched. The walls were white marble with beautiful artwork that had an oriental style to it. There was a large white dresser and white vanity table. I looked at my reflection to see my face was a little different. My ears were pointed now, a long blue strip extended over each cheek and my eyelids were colored with purple. I looked around the beautiful room before I realized that behind more semi-sheer curtains there was a window. Yellow-white light entered through the curtains and I reached out and pulled them open. The most beautiful thing I had seen in a long time greeted me. A blue sky.
I sobbed as I fought to open the doors and step outside onto a patio that resided beside a lush and beautiful garden. Here there were plants of deep green, flowers of vibrant blue, yellow, red, purple, pinks, every color. I looked to see a lovely, blue pond, very different from the red pond of Vegitasei. I looked up at the sky to see blue-white clouds floating in the sky, looking fat and fluffy, yet weightless. I took a few steps out onto the white, marble patio before I heard the most beautiful sound in the world. The laughter of children.
My neck almost snapped I turned to look so fast. There at the far end of the pond there was another patio with a Japanese style gazebo. There by the edge of the gazebo sat my mate. His long white hair floating in the wind as his white and red robes blew around him. He sat on a gigantic white blanket where three smaller forms were moving. One was running around Sess and the two smaller forms. The smaller ones were walking awkwardly with Sess holding them steady.
My eyes filled with tears as I staggered to the sight, my heart beating so fast I thought it would explode in my chest.
There was more laughter and I looked up to see my friends, all of them, sitting under the gazebo. Inu Yasha was dressed in red robes laughing with Miroku and Nick. Raine and Zarbon sat talking with Piccolo, Naile, Pai, and Tien. Jay was sitting on Vash's lap with her brother and his friends. Yaten and two other men were standing near Raine. Kurama stood with a young Yamainu with blood red hair, Hiei, Kuwabara, Yusuke, and the person who had to be Koga stood to the side closer to Sess. I blinked as I walked up a small hill, standing at the crest to take in the sight. The yellow-white light made Sess and the blanket glow as well as the children who were also dressed in white.
I tried to speak, tried to move, but I was frozen as I looked at them. Alive, well, on a planet with a blue sky. I looked at Sess and suddenly he looked up to see me. I held out a hand to him and he got up and as I started to fall, twin suns filled my vision.
"Belle…"
~*~*J'dee*~*~
Sess caught Belle as she fainted and we watched as he carried her over to the blanket. I saw Trey as he sat there talking away to Suto, I couldn't help but smile, he looked like the old Trey the small facial hair fluffy was gone and he'd gotten a hair cut. He was back to himself, still what had happened to all of us was completely unfair and I thought on Vegeta for a moment. It wasn't his fault he was the way he was, I blamed this Frieza guy I had seen in his memories this tsiru-jinn.
Trey looked at me and smiled as he slipped his arm round Suto's shoulders and she curled up in to him.
Tak of course was still fumbling for words round Natalie.
"Man you two are so whipped." Iggi remarked.
Trey just grinned. "Yeah but you wish you were us."
I made myself more comfortable in Vash's lap his arms wrapped round my waist and I rested in to him.
"So you know where Knives is right?" Vash asked me.
"You still wanna go after him?" I asked.
"You found your brother I just want to find mine, he leaked where I was to the Saiyans, got me captured in the process while he moved from planet to planet trying to eliminate every life form he felt was inferior. I want to stop him, take care of him like I promised Rem." Vash stated.
"I'm coming with you too." I looked up at him I refused to leave Vegeta-sei without you, and you cannot get rid of me that easy.
Iggi looked at us. "So who's this Midvalley guy? He seemed several nuggets short of a twelve pack."
"He works for my brother." Vash replied
"Well he helped Fertari fly the ship we were on and escape so he can't be that bad can he?" Natalie asked.
I looked over at Wolfwood as he smoked his cigarette. "We'll just have to wait and find out."
"We?" Vash looked at Wolfwood.
"I'm coming with you two besides you still need a ceremony do you not?"
I felt a blush creep my cheeks. "I guess we do." I drew circles on the blanket sheepishly.
"Man now that's what I called whipped!" Trey laughed.
"Hey! Vash protested. "I'm not whipped."
"Ooooh Gingerbread men." I grabbed it from the plate full of goodies Wolfwood had cooked up earlier that day.
"Match suited, Needle noggin with his donuts and you with your gingerbread men."
"I didn't say I was a gingerbread man a-holic." I remarked before munching down on the head my unsuspecting gingerbread victim. "Megami I missed this."
"It's amazing how much this place reminds me of home." Raine remarked.
"Yeah the really nice places." I added I looked over as Vash began scoffing donuts down. "Hey don't get any sugar crumbs in my hair, I just washed it."
~*~*Raine*~*~
"Man, this feels like…" I whispered.
"Like a dream, huh?" Yaten smiled at me and nodded.
I felt Zarbon's arm around my waist tighten a little, "It'll take time getting used to this. Getting used to the fact that there's no one over our shoulder ready to ruin this."
"It is weird," Yusuke muttered, "But it's a 'weird' I like."
I smiled, my eyes falling on all of my close friends and loved ones. You'd think we'd died, it felt so peaceful.
~*~*Belle*~*~
I felt something soft brush against my cheek and I opened my eyes to look up into a pair of golden eyes.
"Sess?" I whispered as I looked up into the eyes of my beloved mate. He smiled as he tucked some of my hair behind my ear.
"You called?" he teased and I sobbed as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
"I must have died," I sobbed as I buried my face into his neck, his arms wrapped around me. His hand rubbing my back as he purred into my neck.
"Why do you say that?" he asked and I kissed his neck.
"Because I'm in Heaven, I'm free, I'm seeing a blue sky, our friends are all free, and…I…I saw…I saw our children!" I sobbed as I hugged him. He chuckled as he kissed my neck.
"Then you are in Heaven, but you didn't die to get here," he whispered as he pulled back and I looked at him. "Look around." I slowly broke eye-contact with him and looked around us, I could see the others looking at me from the table, they were quiet and then I caught the sight of three sets of eyes looking at me. Two pairs of gold and one pair of blue.
"Mother?" a soft voice asked and I looked at the toddler, he stood there, his big gold eyes staring at me. I looked at him and reached out slowly, pulling back a bit, almost like I was afraid he would vanish. I looked at the little boy, my hand slowly reaching out to stroke his cheek. He was real.
"T-T-Taisho?" I whispered and he smiled as he nodded. I was suddenly wrapped around the small boy, hugging him to my breast. "My Taisho!" I hugged him and kissed him over and over all over his face. His scent, it hadn't changed, it hadn't changed at all. I sobbed as I hugged him and rocked back and forth.
"Mother," he said with a sniffle, his small arms wrapping around me and hugging me back. "Mommy!" I sobbed harder as I held my son to my chest for the second time in his life.
"I'll never let you go again!" I sobbed.
~*~*J'dee*~*~
'Man where's the barf bag?' I heard Iggi's thoughts and kicked him under the table. "YEOW! Hey!"
"I'm a telepath now." I tapped the side of my head.
Vash slipped his hand in to mine. "You're going to have to learn how to control those powers. Last thing I need is for you to see in to the mind of my brother."
I turned round in Vash's lap and jabbed him in the chest. "We're not leaving just yet of course. We do need some recovery time. All of us." I looked at Belle mothering Taisho, he was big, well big in the fact that kids under five thing think they're big, had we been in capture that long? I let out a sigh, she had been lucky for her kids were helped to escape, my stomach turned in a knot. I felt Vash's hand brush hair from my face as I rested up against him, he knew what I was thinking, I had not grieved for my own loss well enough, instead I had a temporary lapse of sanity challenging Vegeta and I looked round.
"What happened to Kakarott wasn't he suppose to be meeting us here?" I asked looking for the huggable Saiyan.
"I believe he found the kitchen and wellll you know Saiyan stomachs we couldn't pull him away." Vash laughed.
"He leaves in a few days to meet Gohan and Chi-chi." Wolfwood informed me.
"He's got such a large heart, it's so big." I smiled to myself, I loved the feelings and good-heartedness I got from him.
"He stayed to make sure Belle came through okay and he wanted to stay for the ceremony and make a public apology to Belle and Sess." Gene added.
"That's good." I smiled. 'I wonder if Belle knows about the ceremony?' I thought to myself, from the way she was motherly smother Taisho I think she had other things on her mind.
~*~*Raine*~*~
"Oh, I think I'm gonna shed a tear," I said playfully, wiping an imaginary drop from my eye. Yusuke and Kuwabara snickered while Yaten pinched my arm.
"Ow, I was just playing!" I gently nudged him.
"I can't imagine the happiness she must be feeling right now. She's gotten her family back. After the crap she's gone through, she deserves it, I know," I said, just in case Yaten needed convincing that I didn't find the moment sappy in the least.
"What'll you do now?" Yaten muttered.
I sighed and rested my elbows on the table, "I hadn't thought of that."
I looked to Zarbon who suddenly made eye contact with me, "I'll go wherever he'll have me."
He smiled and leaned over to kiss me.
~*~*Belle*~*~
I let go of Taisho and wiped his eyes with my thumb, noting the purple stripes on my wrist. I turned to Sess to see him holding onto two small toddlers, they were attempting to walk to me and I looked at them before opening my arms and hugging them.
"My Sesshoumaru! My Rin! My babies!" I sobbed as I kissed and hugged the two small toddlers as they licked me and grasped at me. Their large eyes taking me in.
"Ma-ma!" Rin cried and soon both of them were chirping at me like baby birds. I sobbed as I hugged them. Soon enough Sess's arms wrapped around me as well as Taisho. I stroked my firstborn's cheek as I kissed my mate.
~*~*Raine*~*~
"Oh! Does she know?" Seiya asked.
"Know what?" I looked at him.
"Oh that's right, I haven't gotten the chance to tell you the news," Yaten said.
"Our princess is alive."
My eyes lit up, "You're kidding."
Yaten laughed and shook his head, "She's restored our home, you have to visit New Kinmoku."
"Of course! As long as you come to visit Aquitatis," I said.
Yaten and his brothers nodded.
~*~*J'dee*~*~
Slipping from Vash's lap he watched me as I walked away. "Where you going?" He asked.
"Away from the kids for a cigarette." I motioned to my pocket and walked to a shaded area under the tree not to far away where they could still see and talk to me. "Second hand smoke kills." I grinned.
"Yet you continue." Raine frowned at me.
"I know… addictions can't help it… genetic. If one of your parents are addicted you have that addiction drive or gene there to become addicted to something. But I'd rather kill my lunges than gamble my money away on a few horses. I like money too much to do that."
I sat under the shade of the tree and lit up a cigarette with my ki, learning to control the size and power of it would help in the future when we went up against Knives, Midvalley and the other Gung ho guns Vash had warned me about.
"Reow…" I watched as the black cat fell from the tree and I picked the cat up.
"Vash your cat followed you again." I smiled as it rubbed up against me purring happily.
"Why is it always my cat when it seems to like you better?" He asked.
I rubbed the cat on the head and smiled. "I love cats they're guardians to the underworld and that makes them cool."
"Well you keep him them."
"Did you give the nasty Saiyans fleas? I bet you did… good kitty." I rubbed it behind the ears and it purred more.
Vash got up I watched him as he sat down next to me and I smiled as he positioned me in front of him my back resting up against his chest, ever since I'd dashed off the ship to grab Kakarott and pull him onboard Vash had become more prone to not move too far away from me. I didn't mind it, and I didn't mind him not one bit.
~*~*Belle*~*~
I took a few moments to rest with my children, listening to my friends converse as I played with the children.
"So, how long was I out for?" I asked as I looked up to see Sess sitting beside his brother.
"About a week," Raine said as she sipped some juice from a glass.
"You were in a regeneration tank for three days before that," Jay said as she smiled at me, leaning against Vash.
"What happened?" I asked as I pulled Sesshoumaru away from the grass. My long tail curling around my two youngest children while Taisho gathered flowers.
"Well, the Intergalactic Council decided to turn a blind eye to the Saiyans behavior a while ago. Several of us decided to make an effort to amend that. So we joined forces and demanded that those imprisoned on Vegitasei be freed. The Council passed the amendment and we went to forcibly get our message across. Vegitasei is under constant attack by Namek, Sanji, Tenrousei, and several other worlds as well as warriors from slave races held on Vegitasei. We believe that in another week Vegeta will give in and agree to the new amendment. He's being stubborn at the moment," Piccolo said and I smiled as I looked up at the sky, tears falling from my eyes.
"Free…we're free," I whispered as I held my children to me.
~*~*~*~*~Days Later~*~*~*~*~
~*~*J'dee*~*~
I lay on my stomach on the bed, it was great to not be forced to get up for anything, the sheet pooled round at my waist and I let out a sigh as I stared out side through the white mesh curtain as it flapped gently in the breeze that made it do a rolling dance.
Quiet
No Saiyans yelling at each other in the hallways or yelling at slaves, it had become so familiar I had almost forgotten what silence sounded like.
Hands roamed my back easing out all the knots and aches I gathered over the years from strenuous activities, I looked over my shoulder at Vash, I kept having these visions one after the other and my head was reeling, I saw things Knives and the Gung ho guns did that I didn't agree with. I saw their new home surprisingly enough what looked to be a planet with blue skies, a few suns and moons bearing down on it making it a desert planet but still habitable.
People who looked like humans were settling in there. Re populating themselves, building from brick and wood, despite they're hardly being any sign of green life anywhere. I would have to talk to Kakarott and ask him before he left if he knew what planet it was.
"You're quiet are you okay?" Vash asked.
I rolled over under him and I watched as he placed a hand on my scarred stomach, I closed my eyes. "I saw a planet, like a desert planet, two suns both fairly high in the sky, the visions are showing me Knives is there."
Vash ran his hand over the scar, it was a nice small circle shrunk from the original size, the original impact of Vegeta's blast.
"So do you know how to get there?"
"Not yet, I'm gunna ask Kakarott if he knows where it is."
Vash just nodded and I let myself sink in to the bed. The slight breeze, and large bed instead of the lame single ones, it was nice to share a larger bed with him for once. He smiled at me and I watched his hand as it drew circles over the scar and I smiled. He was so tough at times, but other times he was just like a cat… my cat, my cowardly cat who would run at sight of something bigger and powerful, he wasn't afraid to be afraid.
I smiled as his other hand moved up to the side of my neck and he leant down over me and I slipped arms round his neck, it was nice to become lost in each other without the worry of room mates or a certain saiyan who I seemed to find myself pondering on a lot of late.
Lips against lips I felt him pull the blanket over the two of us and it settled gently over our forms.
"Reow…"
Vash's head hit the pillow beside me. "That cat just picks the wrong times."
I looked at the black kitty just sitting on the windowsill looking at us through golden cat eyes, and they blinked, the head tilted to the side as it looked at us.
"Can't perform with an audience?" I teased.
He looked at me. "Does it bother you?"
"Nope. It will either settle in and get some sleep or it will head off to bother someone else." I replied. "But remember we're suppose to meet the others in the throne room later. Sooooo…" I trailed a finger down his bare chest and smiled up at him, I caught the flash through his eyes.
"How long do we have?" He asked.
"A couple of hours tops." I replied and watched as a hand trailed down my side and I let my hands settle at the base of his neck.
"More than enough time." I let out a squeal as I felt a hand squeeze my ass. I looked at him and he just grinned.
~*~*Raine*~*~
For once in a long time, I felt safe waking up in Zarbon's arms. I didn't flinch when he reached out to me or feel like screaming when he tried to hold me. I sighed as he kissed me again. We had woken up together. As usual, Zarbon was the first to get out. Only this time he had drawn me a bath. He insisted on doing all the work, knowing that I was ticklish. He gently kissed me as he brought the loofah over my bare skin. He suddenly placed the loofah down and wrapped his arms around my waist, the wound long since healed.
"Look, if you're not comfortable going this far yet, I understand," he said.
I did feel like butterflies were trapped in my stomach the moment I woke up with him smiling down at me. I wanted him, but I was afraid to let him in again. I looked down and nodded, "Thank you for understanding."
I rested my forehead against his, contemplating letting him in or not. We kissed again before I rested my head against his bare chest and he held me tight.
~*~*Belle*~*~
I explored the palace more, moving from room to room, Taisho showing me everything, telling me all that 'Uncle' Koga had taught him. Taisho's vocabulary was amazing and I smiled as he showed off everything to me. Calling me 'Mother' most of the time, but when he lost sight of me he called me 'Mommy'. I was dressed in a blue kimono-dress today. It exposed my shoulders and allowed all to see my mark from Sess. I wore it proudly now and without fear. My long sleeves could hide my hands if I wanted and I wore my tail much like Sess wore his. The dress pooled around my feet and had a lovely train. I stopped to look at a painting of a tall man with long silver hair, the blue crescent moon, a single strip of purple on each cheek, red over his eyelids, and golden eyes. To one side was a beautiful boy with two purple stripes on each cheek, red over his eyelids, golden eyes, and silvery white hair. To the other side was a smaller boy with a single purple stripe, red eyelids, gold eyes, and white hair.
"Mommy!" Taisho's voice called and I looked up.
"I'm here Taisho," I called and he came running in. He was wearing black today and he looked handsome as he ran. The black shorts ended at his knees. His shirt sleeves came to his wrists and his collar had a Chinese style to it. I hugged my son as he embraced my legs.
"I thought I lost you, Mommy!" he whimpered and I could smell the scent of tears.
"I will not leave you Taisho," I whispered as I stroked his cheek. "I promise you." He sniffled and nodded before looking at the painting.
"That's a painting of Dadd…er...Father, Uncle Inu Yasha, and Grandfather," he said and I looked at the painting.
"It's a very nice painting," I said as I reached down and picked up my son. "Why don't we go find your father?"
~*~*Raine*~*~
Zarbon and I were the first to arrive, shortly followed by Yaten and his brothers, and Yusuke and Kuwabara, the two play-fighting like brothers. I put my long dreads in a bun before leaving with Zarbon.
Wolfwood entered shortly after, smiling and greeting everyone.
"Where are J'dee and Vash?" he asked.
Yusuke smirked, "Your guess is as good as mine."
Both snickered.
At some point we'd all go our separate ways. I know I'd miss everyone, but I greatly looked forward to the life I'd be spending with Zarbon. He squeezed my hand under the table.
~*~*J'dee*~*~
"You two look refreshed." Wolfwood teased as Vash and myself finally arrived in the throne room. Belle hadn't arrived just yet either so it was all good. We had some comfy chill out time.
"Well then we'll just have to find you a better half to become refreshing in also." I smirked at Wolfwood.
"Good luck with that." Vash laughed.
Wolfwood frowned. "Gee thanks needle noggin just when I thought you couldn't get any more annoying."
Vash frowned. "Hey that's not very nice."
"Now, now, boys play nice we'll be going to find Knives together as a group so if we're gunna play together, you have to learn to be nice." I stepped between the two playing mediator.
Looking from Vash to Wolfwood I smiled, I had become so close with both of them over the years a closeness that was different from the close friendship I shared with Belle and Raine.
"So have you had your brands erased?" I looked at Wolfwood.
He smiled and nodded. "Oh yeah. Kakarott handled it and it wasn't the least bit painful."
"He's good like that. Out of all of the Saiyans I heard him and Tari used to place an atheistic of sorts to the area before they branded their servants. Makes sense he'd place it on the brand when removing it as well." Vash pointed out.
I smiled as I sat down on the ground not really caring who was looking. I'd gotten use to making myself comfortable where and when I felt like it and on almost anything, from Wolfwood's lower back while he was lying down to Vash's lap.
~*~*Belle*~*~
I entered the throne room to see my group of friends talking and I shook my head as I saw Rin and Sesshoumaru crawling around Sess's feet as he did paperwork.
"Father! I showed Mother around the North wing today!" Taisho cried as he leapt from my arms and I watched with motherly love as he ran to Sess. My mate looked at his heir and smiled.
"Very good, Taisho, we'll have your mother ready for the ceremony soon," Sess said and I looked at him.
"What ceremony?" I asked and even Jay laughed at me. "What?"
"You dunce, you're married to the Crown Prince, he's going to have to become the King here soon," Raine said and I blinked. I blushed and giggled.
"I hadn't thought about that. I thought when he came running to the rescue he was already King," I said with a blush. "Besides, I've had other things on my mind." I said with a smile as I looked at Rin and Sesshoumaru.
"What else could you be thinking about?" Hiei demanded and I walked over to him and smirked.
"Names," I said as I walked over to Sess and he blinked.
"Names? What does she mean by…" Kuwabara stated.
"AGAIN!" Raine and Jay cried in unison.
"Hey, we haven't seen each other in almost a year, what do you think we were going to do?" I asked with a smirk as I kissed Sess's cheek and he beamed with pride.
"What can I say, we're a very well matched couple," he chuckled.
"I think we need to get one of them fixed," Jay whispered.
"I think both would be a better bet," Raine said and Sess and I both raised an eyebrow with an un-amused expression on our faces.
"Ooo, that's cool how they do that at the same time," Vash stated and I rolled my eyes.
"Excuse me, I'm going to go to the library and research the coronation ceremony," I said as I picked up Rin and Sesshoumaru. "I'll take Rin and Sessy with me."
"Sesshy?" Sess asked and I smiled.
"We need something to call him by," I chuckled as I headed out.
~*~*Raine*~*~
Pregnant again, DAMN. Those two were seriously like a couple of jackrabbits. If they didn't get fixed, I get the feeling they'd have enough heirs to repopulate the planet! I had never thought of wanting children before. I figured that it wasn't for me and that I didn't want to be tied down to anyone anyway. But meeting Zarbon made me see life in a different light. Meeting Turles affected me as well.
After the meeting, we had all headed off somewhere. Zarbon had pulled me to the side. I looked into his eyes, feeling the love he felt for me through them and knowing that he knew I loved him just as much. What would it have been like if I could have his children?
"Raine? Are you alright?" he asked.
I forced a smile, fighting back the moistness in my eyes, "Yeah, I'm fine. Um, Zarbon?"
"Yes?" he asked and I sat down on a bench, asking him to sit with me.
"What's the matter?" he asked.
I shook my head, "It's gonna take time to get over what's happened."
I know he wanted marriage, that he wanted to return to his home planet with his bride-to-be…but I wasn't ready yet.
He nodded, "You already know that you have my support, love."
"I want to be with you. I want to see your home and meet your family and your people and live peacefully. I want to travel with you, do everything," I said.
My eyes suddenly got moist.
"Love?" Zarbon touched my face.
"I-It just…sucks that I'll never be able to give you a child," I said.
He wrapped his arms around me, holding me, "I'll love you regardless. Maybe we can find a doctor who can help. If not, it'll just be you and me."
He held me in front of him, "As long as you're with me, I'm happy."
I smiled and nodded, hugging him.
~*~*J'dee*~*~
I sat with Kakarott going over the map and he motioned to several desert planets that had more than two suns and moons.
"We couldn't purge these planets because Vegeta felt they lacked resources, plus the multiple moon and sun factors prevented oozaru transformations and the whole desert heat thing."
I placed my hand over the map then I closed my eyes feeling out for a certain energy signature using my wiccan senses.
"This one." I opened my eyes and looked at the spot where my hand paused.
"Yeah that planet is inhabited by humans that escaped from some of the ships after the attack on your planet. We had a ship crash there and another that went to pick up the slaves neither returned. Could be where he is."
"I'm feeling lucky, can you fix up the co-ordinates for us to go there."
Kakarott nodded. "Sure I'll drop you guys off if you want after the ceremony."
"That would be great." I smiled and gave him a hug. "Thank-you for helping us… all of us."
He smiled at me. "It's no problem, I'm not going home again, my dad was upset about Chi-chi from the start, this class system that Vegeta-sei had I didn't agree with it, you can't help who you fall in love with."
"Awwww Kaky-chan!" I glomped him, he was really in love with Chi-chi nd I thought that it alone was the sweetest thing.
He rubbed the back of his neck and laughed sheepishly.
~*~*~*~*~The Day of the Coronation~*~*~*~*~
~*~*Belle*~*~
I stood in our room dressed in the white robe that exposed my shoulders, my hands covered by the sleeves, the long train that seemed to go on forever behind me. I looked at Sess as he stood there gazing at me.
"You look beautiful," he whispered and I smiled as I wrapped my arms around him.
"You look handsome beyond all words," I said as I tucked a strand of his hair behind his ear. "I don't know how I managed to keep my sanity while we were apart."
"I was there," he whispered as he kissed my neck and I purred as I kissed his ear.
"I know, I felt you when I really needed you," I said as I nuzzled him and he returned the motion.
"Your royal Highnesses?" I looked to see Kurama and Hiei standing by the door and I wrapped my arm around Sess's as we headed out escorted by his two most loyal bodyguards.
~*~*Raine*~*~
"She looks beautiful," Yaten whispered to me.
I nodded.
"Any wedding plans in the near future for you and you-know-who?" Seiya leaned over. I managed to mask my frown with a smile.
"Someday. When I'm ready," I said.
Seiya looked a little confused but then nodded, "As long as Yaten's the best man."
I smiled, "But of course."
Yaten snickered and muttered, "And as long as he gets to hang with the bridesmaids."
There was something about that that reminded me of American Wedding. Go figure one of my crushes would be like Stiffler.
~*~*J'dee*~*~
I watched as Belle headed up the aisle beside Sess, I wasn't one for long winded ceremony's and then covered my mouth as I sneezed suddenly.
"Scuse me." I wiped my eyes from sneezage based tears.
Vash looked at me. "You won't go to sleep will you?"
"Trust me when you have fifteen uncles and aunts and have to attend their weddings you get use to the length it's the details of the room I take in." I replied.
Wolfwood grinned. "Always at a wedding but never having one yourself huh?"
My head hit Vash's shoulder Vash just patted my back. "It's alright."
"Got anything planned for your own wedding?" Wolfwood asked.
I looked at him and blinked. "Ummm… no not really I just thought a couple friends, a few vows and bada bing bada boom it's over with."
"You're not a typical girl are you?" Wolfwood asked.
Vash smiled. "Well I think she likes her humanity… it's just she's never seen the nicer side of it… but I'm sure that will change."
I raised a brow and looked at Vash. I hated how he did that; he had me down to a T. I had never seen the nicer side of humanity, I'd been hurt and I'd hurt people while growing up not knowing the difference between right and wrong until my parents separated and my mother showed me that difference.
It was wrong what my father had put Trey and myself through and in turn we'd treated others we knew with that same violence and language… Tell me what five year old do you know on the first day of school tells a teacher to F*** off? I was the first at five and the first at fourteen, by the time I left school to attend a film and television school and get a degree there… I had stopped being the nasty violent person I was and was slowly transforming myself for the better. After meeting Vash he'd helped me complete that transition. I still loved the occasional thrill of fighting but not to hurt anyone unless they truly deserved it.
"I'd like a red wedding dress." I stated as I watched Belle in her white move up the aisle. I nodded.
Wolfwood glanced at me like I was insane. "Red?"
"Wiccan thing I partially follow Hindu pantheon Indian brides do not get married in white… why white is reserved for funerals and that my friend I believe would be an insult like wearing black at a white wedding." I explained. "But Belle looks pretty in white and she looks happy I'm glad for her."
~*~*Belle*~*~
I walked up the aisle beside Sess, our heads held high, our eyes flashing as we looked at various people and they bowed their heads in honor of us. I smirked as I looked at Inu Yasha standing beside the thrones, he was holding Rin and Sessy as Taisho stood obediently beside his Uncle. I fought the urge to smile as I stared down a few rather pissed off looking females.
"Why am I getting glares?" I whispered, keeping my lips from moving. Sess chuckled.
"Those were my suitors before Naraku," he replied and I smiled at them, exposing my fangs and they quickly looked down. We passed our friends and Raine winked at me as Jay gave me a thumbs up. We turned and looked over the crowd and I felt part of my heart cry out. 'What the Hell am I doing'. Sess's hand squeezed mine and I looked at the room filled with Yamainu and I felt confident.
"Do you Prince Sesshoumaru, Firstborn son and Heir of Inu Taisho, swear to do all in your power to protect and rule Tenrousei with the wisdom and patience that is bred into your bloodline?" a Yamainu said as he looked at us.
"I swear on the blood of my Father, his Father, and the generations that came before me, that I, Prince Sesshoumaru, will rule Tenrousei with the wisdom and patience that has been bread into my family line," Sess said and I bowed as a silver crown was placed on his head.
"Do you Princess Belle, Chosen Life-mate of Prince Sesshoumaru, swear to do all in your power to protect and rule Tenrousei and the Yamainu people?" the Yamainu said and I locked eyes with him.
"I swear on the memory of my home-world, the blood of my slain kin, my very soul, to rule and protect Tenrousei and the Yamainu people as well as I can with every fiber of my being," I said. The Yamainu nodded before he looked at me and placed the silver tiara on my head.
"Bow to the new King and Queen of Tenrousei and the Yamainu people," the Yamainu said. "King Sesshoumaru and Queen Belle." I watched as everyone stood up and cheered. I turned to Sess and smiled at him. He brought his hand to my cheek and kissed me in that 'Let's find a private place' way.
~*~*Raine*~*~
I smirked as I saw the newly married couple slink away. I cheered and applauded almost louder than everyone else for the newlyweds. Crap, the honeymoon.
"I bet they'll return with twins and another set on the way," I muttered, earning a pinch from Yaten.
I giggled and followed the others to the reception.
I couldn't help but admire the set-up of the wedding. I avoided looking Zarbon in the eyes, knowing that he'd want something like this, but would have to wait.
"Raine, check this out," Yusuke tapped my shoulder.
"Hmm?" he pointed towards the buffet table where Kuwabara was standing with a short ice blue-haired Yaimanu girl. My brows rose.
"Is that-"
"Yep," Yusuke nodded.
Our eyes widened when she suddenly gave him a peck on the lips. I covered my mouth to keep from laughing outright. Yusuke didn't have those kind of manners. In fact, he rushed over to embarrass his friend and congratulate him at the same time. I smirked when I spotted Hiei glaring holes into Kuwabara's back.
"Congratulations," I said, gaining attention.
"Oh, Raine! Hey, this is Yukina," he said, gesturing to the blushing girl who was probably a year or two younger than him.
I smiled, "It's a pleasure to meet you. I've heard much about you."
"Really?" she said, causing Kuwabara to blush.
"You don't know how happy I am for him, for you both. I want Kuwabara to be happy, and he's obviously happy when he's around you," I said.
"Why thank, thank you very much!" Yukina said with a smile that seemed infectious.
I leaned over and kissed Kuwabara on the cheek, "Didn't I tell you that it was worth a try?"
When I pulled away, he nodded.
~*~*J'dee*~*~
I raised a brow as I watched Kakarott eat he'd contacted Chi-chi and Tari earlier that day and got the co-ordinates where she was with Gohan, it was nice to know that somewhere out there, there would be four Saiyans unlike any other on Vegeta-sei and that they had joined with the alliance to help keep some form of intergalactic peace.
"Wow this food is really really good like Chi-chi's cooking. I love her cooking. My father didn't like it that I ate there a lot, but I couldn't help it, she insisted on cooking her own meals I liked that."
I smiled and listened to Kakarott's rambling about home cooked meals and how much he cared for his mate and his son and how much he couldn't wait till he got back to them.
Vash slipped his hand in to my and I maneuvered him round so his arm was wrapped round my waist while he still held my hand as I rest my back up against his chest where he stood. He made me feel comfortable. It was strange to know I had fallen and fallen hard for an alien, here I had been probably six years earlier only thinking about earning enough money to help my mother pay her mortgage and possibly save up for a place of my own, now all these years later I was feeling like I was getting on in years, while Raine and Belle had just started their lives.
Belle carried a sleeping duo to the play pen and I looked at Vash after Knives it would be nice to settle down with him and have a family, but could I have a family with a man who before his slavery was a drifter?
Vash looked down at me and smiled. I loved his caring smiles, they weren't as sad as they used to be and that was a nice feeling, especially since I could see in to his mind now and hear his very thoughts, he didn't need to tell me out loud he cared just hearing him in his own mind thinking it knowing I was prying was enough for me.
~*~*Belle*~*~
I looked at Raine and Zarbon, Jay and Vash, and I sighed. I placed Rin and Sessy into their play pen and walked over to them.
"So what are all of you going to do?" I asked as I looked at them.
"Well, I've suggested to Raine that we visit my home world and discuss things there," Zarbon said and I smirked. I looked at Jay and Vash.
"I have to find my brother and I don't think Jay's going to let me do this by myself," Vash said and I smiled as I looked at my friends.
"Miroku is going to stay here with Inu Yasha, Kurama has been reunited with his son, Shuichi, Yukina has 'welcomed' Kuwabara home, much to the displeasure of Hiei, and Piccolo has requested to become the Namekian advisor to Tenrousei. Pai and Tien are thinking about heading home. Yaten and his brothers will be returning to their new home. Nick has spoke about staying here with Miroku, but he also wants to meet Knives and help Vash out," I said as I stroked Rin's head.
"What about you?" Raine asked and I gave her a look.
"I've got my happy ending," I said with a smile as I looked at my children. "I've been reunited with my Prince, I've been reunited with my children, I've been crowned Queen, and I'm expecting another child."
"So you've got your happy ending?" Jay asked and I smiled.
"I couldn't ask for more. I'll stay here and take care of the 'Happily Ever After' and live out the rest of my days in peace," I said with a smile. "What else could I ask for except for you all to remember to visit every now and then?"
"I promise," Raine said and I smiled.
"I'll do what I can" Jay said and I laughed.
"Boys, may I steal these two away for a moment?" I asked and Zarbon and Vash both nodded. I led the two into the next room and smiled as I held out a box to each of them.
"What's this?" Raine asked.
"Ooo present!" Jay cried as she grabbed hers and began to open.
"Hey!" Raine cried as she grabbed hers and opened it.
"Oh…Belle," they both whispered. I looked at the two pendants.
"It's Yamainu, it says 'May the Good Spirits always look after you and see you home again'. On the back it has a personal message to each of you," I said and they looked at me.
"Well?" Raine asked and I chuckled as I started to walk out of the room.
"You'll have to come back and learn Yamainu to find that out," I chuckled as I went to take care of my children.
~*~*Raine*~*~
I hugged Belle tight before fully admiring the pendant she gave me. I quickly put it on, "I'll never forget this, or you two."
Then I wagged my finger, "And I WILL learn Yaimanu. If it's anything goofy, I'll hit you."
We both laughed. Then I turned to J'dee. I wish we could've gotten to know the real 'her'. She was sweet and funny and multidimensional and just an all-around interesting person. It was a shame that we'd all find peace only to feel like the times we hard together were so short.
J'dee and I hugged, her insisting that she get an invite to mine and Zarbon's wedding. I smiled and giggled and after the long, heartfelt good-bye, it was time to pack up and head out.
J'dee was the first to leave with Vash and Wolfwood and Kakarott. Now it was our turn.
I made Yaten promise to keep in touch.
"Come on, you should know me by now," Yaten said, hugging me tight.
We were reunited again and we were going our separate ways once more. I was missing him again. I laughed, "Man, this feels like the first time again."
"Tell me about it," Yaten scratched his head.
"Come on man, you're not the only one who wants to wish her the best," Yusuke joked.
Yaten stepped back and I jumped into Yusuke's arms, "I'm gonna miss you so much. You'd better watch Kuwabara for me."
Yusuke snickered, "I'll try. Though I think Yukina will do a better job."
"You call me if they get hitched, y'hear?" I asked and Yusuke nodded.
Then Kuwabara stepped forward with Yukina in tow. We hugged each other silently. It no longer felt awkward or uncomfortable or tense. I was saying good-bye to a loved one, one I wished nothing but the best for. I kissed him on the cheek again, "Invite me to the wedding."
"Raine!" Kuwabara whined and blushed, I giggled and stepped away from him. The guys all said their good-byes and shook hands with Zarbon. I hugged Belle and Sesshomaru and the other Yaimanu. I would miss them all, but I would definitely visit. If Belle was having all these kids, they were gonna need a godmother.
The ship began to ascend and the image of my remaining friends grew smaller as the ship headed into the sky. In my typical fashion, I felt like crying again. Hopefully I'd return with good news. We all had it coming for once, didn't we?
~*~*J'dee*~*~
Megami I was going to miss Belle and Raine both, Raine was heading off in one direction and I was going another, it was a sad feeling to depart after so long of becoming used to them and getting to know them, but part of me hated myself for never truly really being myself round them, not letting them fully inside my protective shell.
The tears were tears of three free women, who after clinging to each other for a last glimpse of hope were being pulled off in their own directions, separating themselves from each other for their own lives and to form their own future in a large galaxy that no longer supported the earth but only it's people.
I hugged Belle first and I looked at her before wiping my tears. "I'm sorry I haven't let you or Raine fully inside, but it's a dark place in there and I didn't want you both to get hurt." I stepped back. "I may be still a strange, but I'm still a friend and the best friends are strangers you know."
I gave Raine a hug next while Vash and Wolfwood said their good-bye's to Belle, Sess and the other Yamainu.
"You and Zarbon better invite us to the wedding okay? Because I know I'm inviting you guys to mine, but don't mind if it's only five minutes I was never one for long ceremony's." I smiled and she giggled.
After the good-byes were said I headed on to the ship with Vash, Wolfwood, Kakarott, Trey, Suto, Iggi, Tak, Natalie, Krillen and Bulma. Bulma had mentioned of some Tsfuru-jinn who had been hiding out on a nice planet that resembled earth and wanted to show them, so Kakarott was going to drop them off also. Our own personal intergalactic Taxi driver, how cool was that?
When the ship took off I just looked at the planet through the window. "Okay that's the fifth planet I've seen and been on now. I'm gunna have to use two hands now to continue the count." I remarked and waved even though Belle couldn't see me it would probably be a while before I would see her again. It's not that I didn't like keeping in contact, it's just I was never any good at it. I fingered the pendant she gave me it joined the number of necklaces I now wore.
'Incase I don't see you again… have a good life gurl you deserve it.' I thought
~*~*Belle*~*~
I watched the ships disappear, not moving until I couldn't even make out a speck. I sighed as I turned, shocked to see Sess, Inu Yasha, Miroku, and the children behind me.
"What are you all looking at?" I asked in a teasing tone.
"You'll miss them," Sess said and I nodded.
"I will, but I have a life here now, a free life," I said as I tucked some hair behind my ear. "I think I'm going to go soak in the tub for a bit." I walked past Sess and ran a claw under his chin. "I'd hate to bathe alone." I was around the corner when he started after me.
"She has you so whipped!" Miroku cried and there was a chuckle.
"I could stand here and debate that, but my mate is in need of me and I'd hate to leave her waiting," Sess said and I chuckled as I headed to our room.
~*~*~*~*~Happily Ever After~*~*~*~*~
~*~*~*~*~For J'dee~*~*~*~*~
How does one tell another their life story in a few words when they don't much time left themselves? Especially when their heart saddens at the thought of leaving the ones they loved behind.
I could tell you how Vash went up against Midvalley and survived, I could mention how we ran in to Meryl Strife and Millie Thompson, but what I will tell you is the battle with Knives where I met the brother of the man I loved in person for the first time.
"So did you enjoy your time with the humans Vash?" Knives sat at a small fold out picnic table a drink in hand.
"Yeah I did." Vash placed the large cross in to the ground planting it there and leaning on it to look at his brother.
For a man to be so twisted I understood, he wasn't really looked after or loved much, he found no adult figure in his young life to latch on to and to grow attached to, for that he distanced himself so much it twisted his soul making his own mental stability worth pondering on. I only had my mother to latch myself on to the men before Vash made me not want a father figure, made me want to curl up and die or run away forever. Few men had ever been nice to me and upon meeting Knives he was not really one of the few.
"It's ironic is it not my dear brother, you should fall in love with one that's descended from those that were persecuted by the humans also. Yet she is every bit like them, destroying everything they come in contact with like a virus, multiplying and destroying more and more with each new addition, that's all they are a virus." He had looked at me like I wasn't even worth acknowledging. "I see she is with child and you bring her to me to die."
Vash smiled. "She's pretty insistent, it's not easy to loose a psychic. I tried."
"You left your new friends behind." Knives smiled.
"It's to settle an old score." Vash looked at me. "Please J'dee let me handle this, just wait over there. I won't be too long."
I left the two alone and moved to the safety of a few hundred meters off and the whole battle played out before me like I had foreseen in my visions when we'd arrived to this planet their battle was the first vision I got the moment I stepped off Kakarott's ship.
They both fought and it was unlike any sibling rivalry I had ever experienced. Knives really wanted to see Vash dead, and sometimes I wondered if Vash wanted to see Knives dead, I knew he would not take another life.
Legato, Legato Blue Summers…
He had made Vash cross his line and I had spent days comforting Vash through the pain of taking a life, He would not repeat that and I knew Knives was counting on it.
As they both fired at each other I just stood in the distance under the tree my hand on the small swell of my stomach watching them guns blazing diving, ducking dodging, but I was staying still and silent watching, making no movement even when Vash was hurt. Knives had looked at me at that moment wondering why I could feel it. When Vash stuck with a fist and then their arms transformed.
The Brilliant flash of Ying Yang contrast of colors dark verses light, good verses evil, I fingered the ying yang tattoo on my upper left arm. Balance in the world this is why everything happened. Without good there is no evil and without no evil there is no good, we all move in mysterious ways.
When the light had vanished they both still stood there each blast countering it's own. Knives smirked. "I see you're learning. What about your family over there? Willing to try that again to save them?"
I watched as he pointed his arm at me and the breeze fluttered my hair about my face, I pushed the hair from my face and looked at him.
"This is you and me, she wanted to meet you, so just leave her out of it."
Knives laughed. "She wanted to meet me, Vash you must not have told her the truth about me."
"Oh I told her the truth and she sympathized with what we went through how we were treated, she knows the pain, she has experienced it all."
"So is she the butterfly you wish to save while I'm the spider? Does that make you? Vash will you crush me to save her?"
Knives had fired and Vash had looked at me I had seen the horror on his face, but all I had done was hold a hand up my ki flaring and countering the attack in to the distance. Vash just let out a relieved breath.
"I can take care of myself Vash, don't worry I'm not like the other humans anymore. Vegeta trained me." I had stated.
"Trained by the Saiyan King himself, so she has evolved from a human, Midvalley was right about her, but what does that make her? She is not like us, and she is not like the humans."
"She is different and unlike anyone I've meet, she has so many moods and sides it doesn't matter to me anymore. She has stuck by me and I enjoy my time with her. Just give up and come live with us Knives this isolation is not what you need, you need to know people do care about you." Vash spoke his voice calm serious and full of sincerity.
"You really think you can win by talking me out of my ways?" Knives laughed.
"I know this battle backwards and forwards I know every move before either will take it, and I will say this Knives, take up the offer, a jail cell isn't becoming on you. The intergalactic alliance knows about you, they know what you've done to the other plants like those on Rem's ship. You lose we will take you there ourselves."
Knives had not listened and tried to kill Vash that moment, he did not see me as a threat and I placed myself in a position that I was not a threat. When Vash fell Knives had walked right up to me dragging me over to where Knives was. I had not struggled or fought. It was all just a re-run in my own mind.
Knives had held his weapon to the side of my neck. I had just looked at Vash and gave him an encouraging smile.
Breathing lightly Vash had looked horrified. "Jay…"
I reached out in my mind to him. 'What are you doing? The answer is right beside you.'
His eyes darted to the side and seeing the corner of the cross that was buried in the sand, he grabbed it and held it up on one are and with one pull revealed Wolfwood's weapon and had fired.
Knives gun had gone off but just a few moments later after Vash's shot. I had felt the blood on my cheek and touched there slightly when Knives hit the ground behind me. The blow to his arm had caused him sever injury.
"You'll live." I stated and looked down at him.
Vash stood over him and Knives had passed only moments later from lack of blood and I watched as Vash pulled the coat off and I looked at the leather he wore under it he tossed the coat away then slung his brother over his shoulder and picked up the cross the two of us heading back to the town where Wolfwood was keeping Millie and Meryl from following.
Upon entering back in to the city Knives was stored in the local prison until we could contact the alliance that Knives was now in custody. He would be tried by the alliance for the innocent plants that he'd slaughtered. Until then it was up to us. Wolfwood, Vash, Meryl and Millie to capture Knives' Gung ho guns before they started causing some damage.
~*~*~*~*~
The birth of my first child a young girl who was more like our families than like Vash or myself. I called her Jaya, she had blue eyes like Knives, dark brown chestnut hair like my mother and had Trey's light Maori complexion.
In only seven months she had grown to the age of four and Vash had to explain to me that the Plants grew in to maturity fast but then slowed down in aging after the first few months of growth spurting. She didn't grow as fast as Vash or Knives had being that she was half human. I had called her Jaya after what Christa my best friend had wanted to call her daughter, the name Jaya in Hindu children's names meant victory and that's what she was even though I knew with my psychic abilities that Christa had not survived. It was a tribute to the best friend and twin soul I had lost.
In total I had had only three children, my eldest a girl, the middle child a boy and the youngest also a girl. Jaya was more plant than my other two Storm who I named after my uncle was just like a mini Vash in looks and his love for humanity, love, peace and donuts, and Rem who Vash named, had her father's eyes but my family's trade mark black hair and slightly olive skin. Their growth was still Plant fast but they remained at least a year apart in ages of each other as they grew. The "Troublesome Trio" as I nicknamed them kept visiting Knives in prison wanting to see their uncle and "annoy him" as Wolfwood said quite humorly up until we transported him to the alliance.
Wolfwood and Millie had formed a relationship themselves, Meryl we found out became a representative for humans living on our planet in the alliance.
It wasn't as peaceful as we'd heard how Belle and Sess ruled and lived like, but I didn't want to trade it for anything.
~*~*~*~*~
Years passed and every so often I'd pay Belle, Raine, and Trey visits taking our family with us and continued to take them with us as the three grew up.
Jaya became a legal representative trying to pass laws in the alliance for the freedom rights to slaves who were still stuck on other planets living the lives of slaves that had been traded by the saiyans, the idea had been in her head since a young age after she listened to her father's stories about the years he'd spent in slavery. She even went out to seek Kakarott to say a personal thanks for helping with our escape, in the end she formed a nice relationship with Gohan and the two were due for a wedding.
While Storm wandered our planet enforcing love and peace, so he told us. Storm had inherited my psychic abilities and was trying to use them to help others, his visions leading him where he was needed… but Wolfwood told us he was skirt chasing more than anything.
And Rem stayed near us in town, she became a doctor wanting to help people and had the same ideals her father had, she wanted to save lives, and even moved back home to help Vash whenever I fell ill or sick. She was always our baby and Vash often told her stories about her name sake, it was what inspired her to become a doctor, she wanted to make him proud and it made her feel good when she was helping and teaching others about life and how we each had a purpose in this world.
Wolfwood and Millie even had their own children a boy and a girl, the boy Wolfwood named Miroku after his brother and Millie named the girl Meryl after her best friend.
It was a life, not like what I had envisioned for myself when Earth had still been around, the concept of aliens back then foreign, I hadn't even thought I would fall for one and marry one, let alone one as perverted as Vash got sometimes. But it was a life I would not change for anything, even if my children lived two hundred years after I had died.
~*~*~*~*~Raine~*~*~*~*~
Life had been good. Zarbon's people had welcomed me with open arms. I was treated like royalty and provided the best medical care to help me emotionally and mentally overcome what had happened to me. And with Zarbon's love and support, I was able to overcome it.
Granted Zarbon was a monarch, he did not rule his home planet. Thus he was free to come and go as he pleased. We quickly grew bored of the palace life. It had only been a few years and I knew Aquitatis like the back of my hand. We traveled all over the galaxy, my beloved teaching me about the history and agriculture and people of the planets we visited.
We visited New Kinmoku and Tenrousei frequently, getting the scoop on everyone. Kuwabara and Yukina were engaged and I was thrilled for them both. The three princes of New Kinmoku were encouraged to pursue their musical interests and sang their songs of love and hope throughout the galaxy. It was the eeriest thing, all of their people had returned. Yaten had explained to me a few years back that their people would return when they had a home to return to. Their souls returned to New Kinmoku and they lived again. Taiki had found a girlfriend in a blue-haired warrior girl and Seiya was the skirt-chaser the Earth tabloids had made him out to be.
It had been five years before I was ready to marry. As promised, all of my loved ones were there. We kept it at a moderate length for J'dee's sake. Our honeymoon was beautiful. And though we were never blessed with children like J'dee and Belle, we were content and happy together. Marriage did not stop us from travelling throughout space, so we were rarely home. We did not have a family, but we would always have each other, and we were happy.
~*~*~*~*~Belle~*~*~*~*~
It was happily ever after, my mate and I ruled our planet justly and there was no war, famine, or plague. Our rule was dubbed the most peaceful time the planet had ever known. It was like living a fairy tale, I had my Kingly husband, my Queenly beauty, and my children.
We stopped after seven, at my request. Taisho, Rin, Sesshoumaru, Inu Hiei, Raine, Jaki, and Yusuke. I had my tubes tied and soon enough we were watching our children grow up, beautiful, gentle, responsible, and wonderful. Taisho took after me in appearance, but with his father's coloring. Rin was a perfect mix, her father's hair, my eyes, his nose, and my lips. Sesshoumaru looked like his Uncle almost completely except for the black hair. Inu Hiei took after his father in appearance but with my coloring. Raine was her father's daughter in every way. Jaki looked like me except for her gold eyes. Yusuke was my son all the way.
We became a major part of the Intergalactic Council and it was at our request that Vegeta was spared his life. Of course, he was given strict rules to follow or he would be executed before he could blink. We visited Vegitasei and I almost didn't recognize the remains of the palace. I had used my acid to carve a reminder from the human race.
'Belle, Raine, Jay, Miroku, and Nick all spent three years under Saiyan rule and were freed. They will always remember and be remembered.'
When Taisho became old enough he chose Kuwabara and Yukina's daughter as his mate and once they became mates Sess and I stepped down, we were the King Father and Queen Mother, but we did not rule. We traveled through space, visiting Zarbon and Raine, Vash and Jay, and exploring the various worlds of our allies.
Namek was my favorite place to visit. Young Dende was a wonderful host and often showed us around. Piccolo came with us every time and I enjoyed his company greatly. We would sit together and talk all the time. I taught them much of the human culture, spreading a few classical pieces across cultures.
Thus my life was spent, making up all that I had lost when Earth was destroyed. I spent all the time I could with Sess, our love became a legend in our own time. Many Yamainu women longed for our kind of passion and many Yamainu men longed for our kind of fighting ability. We would listen to epic poems, songs, and stories that had been written to honor our love. We were a perfect Arthurian couple, without the betrayal.
Sess and I were always happy and I never suffered a day in my life after I arrived on Tenrousei.
