An: Sorry about the last chapter people my computer didn't take the transition very well and so the unedited version was placed up. I can promise this one will be a little better however I hope you all can stand the lack of punctuation for a while, like I said my computer isn't liking the transtion with the new equipment it'll take a while to fix. Hope this one comes out better!

Chapter 1
Kagome ran from the house, the tears in her eyes making seeping trails down her cheeks. It would be about this time one would want to know what caused her to be in such agony. She is 17 years old top of her class a model student and daughter. She had the most perfect boyfriend, Shuichi Minomino a guy with his own personal fan club(and stalkers). They had been going out for since their freshmen year in high school. They where everybody's ideal couple, both sweet kind and funny, calm and caring, helpful, and always seemed to be there when their friends where in trouble. Like all couples they had there differences one major one being Kagome was a pure miko and the other being Shuichi was a demon or at least not entirely human. Kagome knew this and yet said nothing deciding to let him tell her on his own or maybe he just didn't know but either way she let it be. They've been intimate, they have told lies, they have both kept secrets, and are keeping them still. They both understood each other or at least thought they did.


They have withstood hardships maybe not all that come with a relationship but their own fair share of them. He had asked her to stay with him and she had agreed, ready to stay by his side forever.But maybe she had agreed a little to soon. Shuichi had been gone with his friends on another long job assignment she still had yet to find out where he worked but she didn't question him anymore wanting him to tell her on his own. It was a week after he and his friends left on their assignment (lucky for the boys it had been spring vacation). It was on Friday Yusaka had called asking if she wanted to go to the movies with him and Kaeko. So in other words he had accidentally missed another one of their dates and needed her their to distract Kaeko so she didn't kill him "accidentally". She of course had wanted to help but the thought of Shuichi being home and asking to confirm he was home had declined saying she was going to check up on Shuichi (much to Yuska's dismay).


Kagome was momentarily surprised for Shuichi always had given her a call when he got home how ever paid no mind for Yusaka would have said where he in trouble. Upon arriving at his home however she found the door unlocked that in itself was also surprising although no real bother for Shuichi had given her a key earlier that year so she could help him take care of his plants while he was gone. Kagome quietly closed the door wanting not to disturb those who might be resting for that was probably why he hadn't called her as soon as he got home he went to sleep. As she neared his room however she heard him groaning and immediately started to rush. This had happened once before Shuichi had come home injured broken and bloody and she had nursed him back to health surprisingly he had had no scaring to show for it but that could also be because of his inhuman blood.


Kagome opened the door another surprise but to be hold as she saw her beloved Shuichi on his bed getting a blowjob from his best friend Boton. She had met the girl once, when the girl came to tell Shuichi and his friends his boss had another case for them, the girl if she remembered correctly had walked a little closer to Shuichi than a normal friend would and as they where leaving her Kagome could have sworn Boton scowled at her but she passed it off as merely the sun getting in her eyes. Oh how naive she'd been and now here was her boy friend with his best friend. Kagome quietly closed the door a small but firm click signaled it had fully closed but the pair had not noticed and continued on with themselves.


Kagome slowly wobblingly trailed down the stairs caught up in her thoughts in her denials. That wasn't Shuichi no it was just some one who looked and sounded like him. Tears started then seeping from the corners of her eyes. Was I not a good enough girlfriend did I not satisfy him? What did I do wrong? Did he not want to tell me because he thought I could not handle it? Did he get tired of me? Did I ask to many questions? Was I taking the relationship to strongly holding on to him to tightly?' With all these questions plaguing her she ran trying to ease the pain of betrayal of self pity of self disgust. She couldn't go home she was sure her mother would be so disappointed with her.


So she went to the one person she could think of the one person the closest by. She went to Sango's house they had been best friends for the longest of times. Sango upon seeing her friend in such a disarray had literally dragged her in her house sat her down on a couch got a towel and began drying her off. How odd she thought she hadn't even realized it was raining. It was then she saw Miroku who was running to the kitchen to fix a pot of tea 'oh no' she thought now 'I've ruined there date' however when she tried to leave both persons restrained her and eventually got Kagome to tell them somewhat sobbingly of what had occurred.


After of which both of her friends where outraged Miroku offered to curse him which would have been funny had he not been totally serious. Sango on the other had had offered to castrate him and rip him apart with her bare hand although said to help ease her friends pain she had too been totally serious. There offers however where declined Kagome had taken the entire ordeal as entirely her fault after all Shuichi wouldn't have bother to cheat on her had she been a good enough girlfriend, she hadn't even known why he had asked her in the first place, she didn't find her self particularly attractive and tonight just proved to her that that was one of the qualifications one need to have to be Shuichi's girlfriend, Boton was after all breath takingly beautiful.


Upon seeing their most beloved and treasured friend falling into depression they immediately called their back up their emergency line, they had called Inuyasha. He had of course upon hearing the situation had needed a few minutes of calming before he was well enough to stop his rampage of killing Shuichi mode and switch it over to concerned mode and rushed over Tear'nie in tow. 7 hours, 6ounces of ice cream, 12 hugs(mainly on Tear'nies part),17 sodas(mostly drank by Inuyasha "What I'm a growing boy!" direct quote form Inuyasha when asked about it), and loads more comfort from her best friends later. Kagome was once again a version of her bubbly self.


Monday came to quickly for the troup for it would mean another possible hurt Kagome but on the bright side it would mean one less Shuichi on the other.

~Monday at school~


Kurama paced about the entrance to his high school waiting for Kagome to show. He had called her profusely the morning of his return however she had neither answered nor had she returned any of his calls which for her was odd she always seemed to be home and if she wasn't she always faithfully returned his calls and so he had waited by the phone just to make sure he didn't miss her call. Yet the call never came and so he finally went over to her house to check up on her she was not home nor did it seem like she had been home for a while. So he went back home to wait. The call never came nor did she stop by and so here he was now waiting for her with many a thing going on in his mind.' Did she have an emergency trip and I wasn't home so she didn't tell me? Or did she just think he wasn't going to be home in a while and went to visit her family or friends?'


His thoughts where cut off as Yusaka stopped in front of him and proceeded to wave his hand profusely in his face to gain his attention."Yes Yusaka?"


"What have you and Kagome been doing that she hasn't called me back? Kaeko nearly killed me!"


"I have not seen nor heard from Kagome since before we left."


"That's funny I called her when we got back and invited her on a date with Kaeko and I but as soon as she found out you where home she declined saying she wanted to go spend some time with you." Kurama froze 'She didn't see-!' "Kagome! YO over here!"Yusaka yelled waving her over. She smiled brightly at him and waved back, then turned her head slightly to see Kurama and her smile never changed and she waved at him also. The pent up breath Kurama hadn't known he'd been holding rushed out as he waited for her to come over.


However what was odd was the fact she had her friends with her not that hanging out with them was bad just they had never before seemed like a second skin nor had they ever seemed like they where going to kill anyone who made a second glance at her (well maybe Inuyasha but he was an entirely different story) like they where prepared, like any moment now she was going to break or fall and they where prepared to catch her. She hadn't really hung out with these particular friends since they had started dating knowing how much her friends and his didn't get along so well she mainly spent time with them after school or other such time when he and his friends weren't around. However Kurama dismissed all of these as she came closer her breath taking grin almost looked plaster to her face something was off but he didn't bother to put his finger on it he was just happy to see her after so long.


They followed her over nothing out of place. Miroku as usual had a vivid hand print on his face, Sango was fuming but still chatting happily with Kagome. While Inuyasha in the lead Tear'nie as usual practically strapped to his hip as they bantered however some how it looked to rehearsed but then again they had done this for most of their middle school year before Kagome had started dating him so once more he passed it off. Kagome approached him Sango pushing her forward as Kagome lagged slightly behind 'what was that about?' he thought as Inuyasha immediately spotted Yusaka and proceeded to tell him how weak he was thus starting another fight between the two however another odd thing was that he continued the fight even though Tear'nie left him walking over to Apid and engaged him in a conversation. Inuyasha seeming to pay absolutely no heed as he continued to throw insults at Yusaka as well as punches and dogging this way and that as they fought drawing quiet a bit of attention to themselves.


He once again let it go as Kagome approached him smiling as she finally reached him her smile lessened a bit.Although the cause was probably the look on his face.


"What's wrong Shuichi?" She asked concerned


"Why haven't you called me back?"


"Hmmm.. You called? I'm sorry I've been at Sango's having a friends night and everybody showed up so I really haven't had a chance to go home and unwind fully yet I'm sorry." Kurama's mind eased a bit 'so she didn't see him.'


"Shuichi we need to talk. Over at the sleep over I had a talk with my friends. I-I think it's be best for both of us if we didn't see each other any more. You know see other people and be- be happy you know?" Kurama stared at her incredulously. Blinked once..twice as it all slowly processed.


"You want to break up." he repeated slowly emotionlessly as Kagome nodded slowly it finally clicked. SHE wanted to break up with HIM. This had never happened to him before not as Kurama not as Youko not as Shuichi...till now...But Why??


"Why?" He asked some part of him still denying he was having this particular conversation. Another part just totally rejecting the entire idea. She was everything he had ever wanted beautiful, pure, innocent, kind, thoughtless of her own needs, caring, happy, loyal, brave, smart, funny, unselfish, understanding, accepting, forgiving. She was everything he wasn't and nor he needed her.


"Well... I just think it would be best for everyone we can both find other people and be happy no lies or anything we can still be friends." He grabbed her incredulous.' how could she do this?! She wasn't the type of girl to give her virginity away to some one she didn't love and if she loved him she wouldn't give him away without a fight or at least a damn good reason!'


"Don't give me that bullshit Kagome why! Why are you dumping me?!" he demanded shaking her as she tried to pull away.


"Why?" Kagome's head was down but he could smell the salt from her tears.


"Why!" he demanded again more forcefully this time fully aware that Yusaka was trying to keep her friends at bay so he could get his answer.


"Did Yusaka tell you he called me?" she asked softly tears spilling down her cheeks.


"Yes."


"Then he must have told you I declined his offer to go to the movies and wanted instead to come and see you, well I went over to your house your front door was unlocked and your bedroom door was cracked open. I had heard a groan from outside and thought you where hurt like last time but when I opened the door-" his arms dropped to his sides totally releasing her, she continued anyways her head lifting so he could see her watery sapphire eyes full of sadness sorrow and pain. " When I opened your door I saw you and your friend Boton, I ran from the house but you didn't notice me did you? I'm sorry I wasn't a good enough girlfriend and I'm sorry you couldn't tell me to my face. I don't think we should date anymore ok Shuichi, lets just be friends ok?" Came Kagome soft voice not betraying the tears still falling from her eyes.


Kurama stood there stunned his green eyes just watching her as his heart constricting painfully in his chest all thoughts and functions seemed to stop 'Lets just be friends' it was over Kagome didn't love him anymore. She began to turn away he grabbed her once more, every instinct within him demanding no less he wanted her, her love, her everything, no rather he Needed her.


"No!" he shouted his denial his hands clamping almost painfully on her arms.


"It's not over! That thing with Boton was just a one time thing it won't happen again! This will work! We'll spend more time together and one day we'll get married and have kits and everything we'll be perfect! We'll be happy together forever!" Kurama continued his hands now griped her arms painfully so. A gasp came from Sango.


"He's a Kitsue!" It was ignored by all however.


"I'm sorry Shuichi I don't think it will work. Please let me go your hurting me...Shuichi?" Kurama's eyes where flickering from green to gold so quickly it was hard to tell what his real eye color was. Claws grew on his finger tips now digging into her arms, Kagome cried out in pain as the claws pierced her flesh. In a second flat a solid fist planted itself in Kurama's face so hard he lost his hold on Kagome and was flung against the wall. Yusaka stood stunned however he to was ignored.


"Are you ok Kagome?" Tear'nie asked noticing the blood on her arms where Kurama's claws had been. Kurama was up in an instant.


"Give. Her. Back." he came forward either not noticing or not caring about the blood that was steadily seeping from his nose and the corner of his lower lip. His eye's now gold with a slight sheen of pink covering them. Inuyasha had everyone behind him however before you could make a move.


"Apid subdue him."He went forward blocking Kurama view of Kagome entirely and as Kurama wet to move him out of the way Apid caught him. Miroku seeing this took out two charm wards and walked up to Kurama quickly he placed one on each wrist. Upon contact with his wrist they disappeared into his skin as though having never been.


"Is he ok?" Kagome asked as Kurama became limp in their hold. The rest of the school was in a frenzy having not see the fight but having heard about the entire breakup rumors where spreading like wildfire.


"He'll be fine he just can't hurt you anymore." Miroku said inspecting his wrists looking at something only he could see.


"Are you sure he's ok?" Kagome asked heading towards him to check for herself.


"Yes Kagome he's fine and to make sure he stays that way, why don't we have Apid take him down to the nurses office. Besides we still must remedy this entire situation." Tear'nie said while Inuyasha once more permanently attached her to his side all the while they dragged Kagome along with them.


A few weeks later Kagome moved thanks to the help of Inuyasha and Tear'nie in fact they all moved once they learned about her pregnancy. seven months later she gave birth to Shippo Higurashi his mothers pride and joy. It was one year later she started dating again, to Sesshoumru Tashio, Inuyasha's older brother (much to Inuyasha's dismay). It was another two years after that they where married and mated. Another two years later is where our story continues Kagome now had two children well three including Sesshoumaru's adopted daughter Rin. Shippo at five years old, Rin at seven years, and last but not least Hatsuharu Tashio, or just Haru for short at two and a half years old he looked more like his father than anything all he seemed to carrie from his mother was his kind nature and one of his eye's was a bright sapphire blue the other however was a molten gold, his fathers heir and the only other person besides her, Rin, and Shippo that was able to put a smile on his face, no matter how small.


End chapter One


So whatcha all think the final pairings are still a mystery even to me don't ask I'm in the middle of a brain fart. We'll see Kurama again in the next chapter. Yes Shippo is his son(Kurama's). Tear'nie and Apid are my characters I use Tear'nie a lot because I hate not pairing Inuyasha with someone and Tear'nie works because I can use her for comedy relief and not have someone e-mailing me telling me she would never act like that. Also no worries I love the Kag/Kur pairing just as or rather I like it almost as much as I like the Sess/Kag pairing so if you like them both too you should keep reading you'll never know when I'll decide to throw in a wrench. Oh well review and I'll update don't review and I'll forget. Bye!
