Chapter 2
Lost and gone Forever


Kagome gently Balanced Haru on her hip while Shippo shifted himself to a more comfortable position on her shoulders. Rin tugged insistently on her pants.
“Mommy this one.” Came Shippo’s little voice from her shoulders.
“No not that one Daddy wants this one!” Rin insisted still arguing with her brother.
“Daddy doesn’t like flowers Rin! Daddy likes toys!”
“He does not daddy likes flowers!”
“Toys.”
“Flowers!”
R 20;Toys!”
“FLOWERS!”
“TOYS!”
R 20;Hush!”
“...”
“...”
“How about we get him both? Or how about we get him a card first and then find a matching gift?”(Just so ya know it’s Sesshoumaru’s Birthday.)
“Yes lets get a card!”Rin and Shippo shouted in unison, Haru falling asleep in her arms as she helped Shippo down. He and Rin then began to race each other to the cards.
“Stay together!” Kagome quickly yelled after them.
“Ok!” Came the quick almost distant reply. Kagome blew out a pent up breath the expelled breath briefly blowing up her rather long bangs. She signed once more never before had she appreciated mothers day more, nor her own mother till after she had her own children. Kagome noticing Haru was asleep gently lifted him in to her cart and placed him in the seat. She was mildly surprised that Jaken wasn’t about some where. Jaken being her husbands make shift body guard for her and the children, there babysitter when her and Sesshoumaru where other wise occupied, as well as being Sesshoumaru’s personal servant. Poor guy didn’t even ask for a pay raise. Kagome continued on towards the front where the cards where located. However no sooner did she turn the corner than did she run into another cart.
“Oh I’m so sorry!” Kagome apologized pulling her cart away from the other.
“Kagome?” The other asked her head swung up to see the owner of such a familiar voice. Upon seeing his face however all she could do was stare at him in surprise she hadn’t thought she’d ever see him again!
“Ku-Kuwabara?” She embraced him warmly he really hadn’t changed much in the past five years.
“I never thought I’d see you again! What are you doing her? How are you? How have you been doing? How are the others?” Kuwabara grinned sheepishly she really hadn’t changed other than now she was... Beautiful perfectly filled out and even her voice was softer and sweet something you wanted to hear again and again. If he was still single he would probably have asked her out.
“Well I’m good, I’ve been good, and I’m here to get something for my Yukina and for an orphaned kitten I found. It’s mine and Yukina’s second year anniversary we started dating two years today. The others are good Yusaka and Kaiko are engaged and the shrimps his usual self. Kurama’s good he just finished college and is starting a new job. Though Genkai’s cranky she’s been working Yusaka harder than ever. So how about you? I haven’t seen you in... about five years. What happened? Who’s the kid? Why are you here?” Kagome laughed as she too noticed the wiggling Haru she quickly intercepted him as he went to topple out of the cart seat. Picking him up she showed him to Kuwabara.
“Well I moved over here to finish school at the insistence of Inuyasha and Tear’nie who I’m happy to say have finally married and are expecting a second child much to Inuyasha’s joy.”
“So he’s their kid? He does kind of look like Inuyasha but why does he have two different colored eye’s? Tear’nie doesn’t have blue eyes and neither does Inuyasha.”
“Let me finish Kuwabara. This is Hatsuharu Tashio or just Haru for short. He’s my son I married Inuyasha’s eldest brother a couple of years back and had Haru not long after. Sesshoumaru and I now live-“
“You married Sesshoumaru?”
“Yes.”
“Thee Sesshoumaru. Japan’s richest former bachelor?!”
“Eh.. Yes about two years ago.” *Blink...Blink*
“Oh come on it’s not that hard to believe. I’m here shopping with for Sesshoumaru’s birthday with my children.”
“Children?”
“Yes Haru, Rin, and Shippo. They want to get something special for their daddy isn’t that right Haru?” The little boy in her arms nodded his head vigorously still hiding his face in his mothers neck.
“Well I have to go I promised Sesshoumaru I’d be home by three. Well Kuwabara I hope to see you around more.” Kagome said leaving behind a shell shocked Kuwabara. Three kids in five years, married to Sesshoumaru, Inuyasha and Tear’nie married and second child on the way. His eyes went swirly how was he suppose to remember that?!

Kuwabara mumbled incoherently to himself as he made his way to Yusaka’s house apparently Koenma wanted them for a knew mission coincidentally he was on his way there anyway after hearing Kagome’s new picking up Yukina’s gift and grabbing some cat food.
‘Lets see Sango and Miroku married two kids, Haru Kagome and Inuyasha’s Daughter, and Tear’nie and Sesshoumaru married three kids. OK!’ He entered the house every one else was already having gathered waiting for him as well as Koenma and Boton’s appearance.
“Hay guys guess what I saw Kagome earlier today!” Kurama’s head snapped up however before he could start his questioning Kuwabara continued.
“She married Inuyasha and they have a girl named Haru, and Sango married Miroku and they have two kids. But best of all Tear’nie married Sesshoumaru! Thee Sesshoumaru!” All was dead silent as he finished everyone staring at the half wit and then to Kurama who’s eye’s where flickering form green to red.
“What?” He asked calmly his voice snapping threw the silence that had settled like a knife. Kuwabara however was oblivious to it all began to repeat what he had said or rather he began to repeat up until he was slammed into a wall Kurama’s hand at his throat squeezing lightly as the plant life around them sprouted abnormally and began to move about in a highly unnatural fashion as they reacted to the kitsue’s emotions.
“What did you say about My Kagome.” It came out screaming of every predatorial instinct he had everything that made him the deadly and dangerous creature that was still feared in parts of Makai.
“I-I... said she married, to-to..uh..Inuyasha.”
“He will die.” Kurama said dropping Kuwabara like he would garbage.
“Kurama wait! What are you going to do? And What about Koenma?!” Kurama kept moving ignoring Yusaka as he yelled after him till he reached the door and ripped it open.
“I’m going to get my mate back and kill the person responsible for taking her away screw Koenma.”
“Kurama wait! Damn it! Come on!” With that they raced after Kurama. Kuwabara slammed the door behind him just before Boton and Koenma arrived.
“Yusaka? Kurama? Hiei? Where are you? Hello?... Boton are you sure you got the right house?”
“I think so Koenma sir.”

Tear’nie groaned as she sat up a hand on her rather swollen belly and stood up making a mental note to make Inuyasha pay for it later. As Tear’nie entered the kitchen she quickly dug threw the fridge and cubords not exactly sure what she was looking for but knowing she was hungry. However upon seeing Inuyasha’s last bit of ramen she quickly grabbed it added some water and threw it in the microwave. She hadn’t felt like dressing this morning so she was still only in a rather skimpy silk night gown it was a light blue in color and it helped illuminate her skin it was one of her husbands favorites. She was to lazy to change no company was to be over and Inuyasha would be home soon to see her eating the last of his ramen in his favorite night gown and on his turn to take care of Kyo. Life was good. The beeping on the microwave had her moving again to retrieve the hot cup of noodles. Once they where secured in her hand she then went to grab a glass of chocolate milk before resuming her track for the couch.
Half way there however her door burst open to reveal an angry kitsue and three other rather embarrassed males. She to stunned to think right did the first thing that came to her. Which was promptly throw anything thing and everything in her hand and within her reach and scream bloody murder. Then considering being pelted with food and liquid wasn’t bad enough she just happened to be conveniently placed by the butcher knives to say the gods where frowning upon the spirit detectives would have been entirely too accurate especially considering she had a wonderful aim.
Well that is until Hiei shot forward and grabbed the thrashing Tear’nie pinning her to him and a hand over her mouth to stop her screaming. This being the scene Sesshoumaru walked in on, and in all reality he wouldn’t have been there had it not been for Kagome and the children giving him there best puppy dog faces and Kagome promising to make it up to him later if he returned Kyo to his parents and let her and the children prepare his birthday surprise. However to say he was pissed that one dared to handle a member of his family that way much less half dressed and breeding was an understatement. It was however Kyo who got the intruders attention.
“Mommy?”

They all turned to look at Sesshoumaru who’s cold eyes pierced them all.
“What do you all think you are doing?” Tear’nie stopped her mad struggle upon seeing him. Hiei however pulled her back as he moved further away sensing the kitsue’s battle aura. Kurama was in front of Sesshoumaru in an instant. Who instantly let the child go so he could run to his mother and cling to her leg watching everything and one intently.
“Where is Inuyasha?” Kurama demanded Sesshoumaru however ignored it entirely.
“Why are you in my domain Kitsue and what do you want with my half brother.” Sesshoumaru demanded. Kurama growled this pathetic human dared to defy Him! The Great Youko Kurama.
“I asked you a question human. Where is Inuyasha?” *Dam!* In an instant Kurama found himself against a wall Sesshoumaru’s hand around his neck.
“You will respect your betters Kitsue and tell me why you trespass and touch things that do not belong to you. Tear’nie you will release yourself.” Immediately Hiei felt something close to fangs pierce threw a finger drawing blood he pulled his hand away but did not relinquish his hold knowing from past experience that she would likely start throwing more knives at then all.
“I can’t Inuyasha’s bound me.” Sesshoumaru scowled darkly at them all as though blaming them all for everything wrong in his life just as the object of conversation made his way threw the door. However upon seeing his mate half dressed and held by another Male demon he was pissed.
“What the fuck do you think your doing touching my mate?!”
Kurama’s head snapped to him as Sesshoumaru dropped him ungracefully to the floor.
“Do you mean to tell me your not mated to Kagome!”
“Fuck no, Se-“
“Ite!” Everyone looked to Tear’nie who was currently dragging Hiei to the ground liquid running down her legs. Inuyasha rushed forward to help her while snarling back to anyone who might be listening.
“She’s going into labor call the doctor! The numbers by the phone.” However upon hearing no movement behind him Inuyasha’s head snapped around to everyone’s direction eye’s blazing with suppressed fury. Yusaka rushed to the phone.
Hiei once more tested her grip she still had yet to release him and every time he made a move to escape she would dig her claws more firmly into him. Inuyasha had already made several threats to pummel him if he didn’t get away from her.
“Hn. I would if I could.” After that was said Inuyasha just continued to growl at him, Sesshoumaru seemed a little to emotionless about the whole thing really, leaning against the wall Kyo latched on to his leg watching as Yusaka and Kuwabara paced while Kurama sat where he had been dropped wincing every time a pain cry filled the room.
It was about this time that the medics came as well as the family doctor unsurprisingly it was a female. She quickly set to check her vitals.
“How long has she been like this?”
“About twenty minutes.”
“She’s early what happened?” Inuyasha glared all about him.
“These assholes broke into to my house and attacked her.”
“We did no-“ Yusaka began only to be cut off once again.
“Highly unlikely is she bound?” Inuyasha looked around the room before nodding his head.
“Then that can’t be it. Are any of the males in heat?” She looked about her a couple no’s and a few more shakes of the head where her answer.
“Has she taken in blood?” More shakes of the head this time however they all looked to Hiei. He held up his hand the one she had bitten. It had on one finger a healed over wound with a little bit of blood still clinging to the skin. To say Inuyasha was pissed at what he saw would have been an understatement he immediately jumped up and started swearing up a storm then just as quickly returned to his worried self as Tear’nie moaned in pain again.
*BAM!*
Once more Inuyasha’s door was slammed open to reveal quiet a few people it appeared the first numbers Yusaka had tried hadn’t been the doctors. A man and women appeared first both looking about there mid fifty’s and both baring a slight resemblance to the withering girl.
“Grama! Grampa!” called a little Kyo and they walked over to him. Apid was next looking more than frantic however before he could utter a word he was knocked out of the way by Sango as she came in.
“Is she ok?”
Miroku was right behind her looking quiet out of breath. Followed by Kagome with three small children.
“Yes is she ok?” Kurama immediately perked up his eyes following her as he made to stand she finally stopped by Sesshoumaru questioning his on the situation Haru held securely in her arms. Almost instantly the noise in the room escalated. Before...
“QUIET!” Dead silence was met in answer.
“Questions will and can be answered later for now would you please make way for the medics so we can take her to the hospital.” A path was cleared almost immediately as the medics pulled a stretcher threw. Only one other problem occurred while trying to get her to the hospital. She simply refused to release Hiei and in the end Hiei was thrown on the stretcher too (Curtsey of a pissed Inuyasha). His clothing rumpled arms folded just above the ones wrapped about his waist he sat crossed legged at the top or rather a the right side of the stretcher as the doctors rushed to help a still withering Tear’nie. Yet some how threw all this she still maintained her hold on Hiei moving and shifting to accommodate him movements yet anytime he moved to escape he found claws being rather sharply jabbed into his stomach. It was against his honor to hurt a breeding female much less a laboring one.

Hope ya’ll enjoy I’ll update again on Sunday or rather when ever I get some good reviews or just reviews in general and to my reviewers you all make me feel so special so thank you very much. There will be more Sess Kag and Kur in the next chapter I just wanted to have something to start to add what do you all call it a filler or something like that anyways more of the main plot will be revealed next chapter. On a minor not I do not hate Kuwabara I just made him stupid in this once because I was afraid if I used Hiei I would die a mysterious and rather painful death. So Kuwabara will just have to suffer I’m sorry Kuwabara fans :(
