Walking down the halls towards her first class Kagome was thinking about her relationship with Sesshomaru. Even after five hundred years he is still the lord of the western lands and owns the biggest electronics company in Japan. Kagome had been on a school field trip to his headquarters when they had bumped into each other, literally.

After that first meeting Sesshomaru had taken Kagome under his wing so to speak. He trained her how to fight and control her powers and has been there for her when ever she needs his help. They developed a strong brother/sister bond over the first couple moths of training and discovered that they could communicate telepathically with each other.

Pulling herself back into the present Kagome found herself outside her classroom. Knocking lightly she turned the knob and walked inside. " CLASS." The teacher yelled to get their attention. " We have a new student with us today." She announced. " Why don't you introduce yourself." Walking to the front of the classroom Kagome turned to the other students. " Well I'm Higurashi, Kagome, I'm seventeen and I live at the Sunset Shrine." " Nice to meet you Kagome," The teacher said. " Why don't you take a seat in the back next to Botan."

Finding her seat Kagome unpacked her stuff and turned her attention to the teacher. After a few minutes she felt someone tap her shoulder and turned to look at the girl sitting next to her. " Hi nice to meet you I'm Botan." The blue haired girl said. " I'm Kagome." " If you want I can show you around school." Botan offered. " Sure." Kagome said happy to make a friend. " Let me see you schedule." Baton said. " Wow! We have every class together except gym." Botan announced " Kagome! Botan! Pay attention." The teacher barked.

Kagome followed Botan to a table that was outside under a large oak tree. Sitting down Kagome began to eat her lunch. " Hey Kagome," Botan said. "Hmmm." " Is it ok if my friends eat lunch with us?" " Sure Botan I don't mind." Just as she finished speaking Kagome looked up to see a group of guys heading towards them. One she recognized as Yusuke. There was also a short boy with spiky black hair, and a tall ugly boy with weird sorta orange colored hair.

When Kagome got a good look at the last boy in the group her breath caught, he was HOT! He had beautiful red hair and gorgeous emerald eyes. " Kagome." Botan's voice brought her back to reality. " These are my friends Yusuke, Hiei, Kuwabara, and Kurama." " Nice to meet you." Kagome said. " Hey Kagome." Yusuke answered along with a similar greeting from Kuwabara and Kurama and a `hn' from Hiei.

After a brief explanation on how Yusuke and Kagome had met the group settled into down to eat.

About halfway threw lunch a girl with pretty brown hair (Keiko) came racing up to the group and caught Yusuke in a beard hug. " Sorry I'm late." The girl apologized. Turning away she took the seat next to him and started to unpack her lunch. Just as she was about to take a bite out of her sandwich her eyes locked with Kagome's. Both girls dropped their food and just stared at each other in shock. Kagome was the first to break the tense silence that had fallen over the group. " K-K-Keiko?" Kagome stuttered in utter disbelief. " Kagome?" Keiko answered. " OH MY GOD!"

The two girls lunged and caught each other in a tight hug. " Gods Kagome I missed you so much." Keiko cried. " I missed you to." Kagome answered. They just stayed there hugging each other until Yusuke's shout had them breaking apart. " JUST WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE!!!!?"
