Chapter 9: Emotions Showing..
Kagome walked into her room where Sesshoumaru was already sleeping in
her bed. She smiled softly at his sleeping face. He was so innocent when he slept.
His features were soft and gentle. She figured that he must have had a bad feeling
and just needed comfort. Kagome climbed into bed and Sesshoumaru immediately
snuggled into her side.
Kagome fell into a peacefull slumber with Sesshoumaru's scent enveloping her,
wrapping around her like a comforting mist. Along with the knowledge that her other
friends were safe. She dreamed happily for once in a long time....
~~~The next morning
Kagome awoke to the sound of the shower running. She blinked sleepily and
looked at the softly snoring Sesshoumaru and grinned. ' Who would have ever thought
that the great Sesshoumaru ever snored..' Kagome thought.
~~~Kagome's Pov
I knocked on the bathroom door to see who was inside. Since no one answered
i got worried that maybe they got hurt and needed help so i burst in, only to come face
to face...or rather face to chest with Shizen. I blushed realizing that he was in the nude
with only a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Gomen Nasai! i thought that you might have been hurt!" I said before scrambling out
there and straight into my room with what seemed like a permanent blush.

Shizen stood there staring at the place Kagome had just stood. He then blinked
before slowly blinking. Then blushed at what just occured. He sighed and retreated to his
room to think and get dressed.
Kagome burried her head in her pillow in her embarasment. She then quietly
slipped into her personal bathroom and took a long hot bath. While Kagome was
soaking in the tub she started to hum a song that she remembered that Sesshoumaru
sung to her when they were children.
Kagome sighed and rose from the tub and dressed quickly after drying. She
poked her head out to find that Sesshoumaru was up and already done with his bath.
Kagome then walked and sat behind Sesshoumaru who was clad in a red tank top and
white pants.
Sesshoumaru looked up when he felt Kagome settle down behind him. She was
wearing a Hawaiian print tube dress with a back tie that was red, with different lighter and
darker flower prints. Her shoulders bared and the dress went to Mid-thigh. It made her
hair which was in waves down her back stand out.
Kagome wrapped her arms around Sesshoumaru's waist and rested her head on
his shoulder. " What are you thinking about?" Kagome asked him. Bringing Sesshoumaru
out of his thoughts. He rested his head back against her shoulder. " Everything." Sesshou
replied. Kagome noded her head in acceptance.
He then turned around and turned Kagome around so that he could brush her hair.
He picked up her ebony colored brush and proceeded to brush her hair. When he was
finished he turned her around. She then shrugged on a leather jacket.
" Come on...We have to go to a photo shot and the Studio again." Kagome said to her
silent companion who just noded.
Everyone was already dressed. Kagome and the others piled into the limo waiting
outside for them. The Spirit Detectives had 'backstage passes' which alowed them in
easily to the studio where they were waiting for the group to arrive.
When they did they were shocked. Kagome was beautiful wearing that dress and a
Pink Cowry Choker.
"Okay Sesshoumaru you pose with your arms around her!" The head photographer said.
The set was of a sunrise with Kagome and Sesshoumaru sitting on the beach.
Kagome in his arms. The next one was then laying on the sand. Sesshoumaru's arms
around her shoulders and Kagome's around his waist, with her head resting in the crook
of his arm.
~~~Later on that day.
Kagome was exhausted. She had taken photo's with each of her gang at least
5 times with each in many different settings. Now they were headed to the studio. They
had just eaten dinner. It was now 7:30. Kagome had a distinct feeling that they were
being followed. She turned abruptly and saw the spirit detectives.
"What do you want?" She said coldly.
"..." No answer.
She glared and turned away and walked the rest of the way to the studio, slowly just
to irratate them.
When Kagome got their she was immediately told to get ready and sing.
The first song would be So Yesterday. It was a song that she wrote after the whole
Hiei incident.
