Chapter 14: Unexpected Guests...
Kagome sighed. The boys have been bickering non-stop since they left the palace. Kagome
was at a lost as to why they were acting that way. She stood and walked off to the gardens to get some
peace and quiet while the guys continued arguing about only Kami knows what.
The guys meanwhile were arguing about how Kagome, Sesshoumaru and Juuromaru had
gotten into that position they were in when they woke up...All different types of accusations were floating
through the air quite angrily.
" You seduced her!!!" Said Kuronue his normally calm demeanor ruined by his angry scowl..
" Your raped her!!!" Another said..
"My poor 'Gome!!!" Wailed Jakotsu who had just arrived to her something about Kagome.
"Where is My 'Gome!!! What did you do to my Gome!!!!!" Jakotsu said darkly at the now cowering
people. Kami-sama know's that Jakotsu is a force to be reckoned with when angry...Exspecially if
someone hurts Kagome... They all had to restrain him with wards and chains, bricks and a whole
bunch of other things when he heard about Hiei's betrayal.
Kagome had met Jakotsu through Bankotsu...Bankotsu met Kagome because he used to be
a guard for Inutashio until he just decided to be friends with the prince of the west and princess of the
north. Jakotsu however had a very soft spot for Kagome. He loved her with his very being!! He would
never have anyone hurt his precious little kagome. Banktosu, Jakotsu, Kagome and Sesshoumaru
basically grew up together...Kagome and Sesshoumaru and Bankotsu shared a best friend/potential
mate bond whereas Kagome and Jakotsu shared a family like bond.
Jakotsu stopped and growled at the Hakai before yelling at the top of his lungs for Kagome
then hearing a yip he quickly darted off to the gardens where he sensed his precious little Kagome.
He found her there sitting underneath a sakura tree. He climbed behind her and wrapped his arms
around her petite waist and rested his chin on her head.
" Hello my little Kagome!!!" He squealed softly.
" Hello Jakotsu.."kagome's normally icy voice, soft and warm.
" How are you little one?" Jakotsu asked knowing that only he and Sesshoumaru were allowed to get
away with calling her little one.
"Im fine Jak...How about you?"Kagome asked the handsome brown-eyed male.
" Fine 'Gome...." He answered before staying silent..Both comfortable in the other's precense...
No matter how relaxed Kagome got with the others or just sesshoumaru she was much more
approachable with Jak by herside...You see...Kagome met Bankotsu when she was born with Sesshou.
But she immediately loved all three guys they would always make her happy!!! Until with Hiei...Kagome
had emotions which were showing more now that her barriers were dropping swiftly. But with Jak...
Kagome couldnt help the small smile that graced her lips. Only Jak could do that without doing anything.
"So....Did you choose your mate yet?" Kagome asked teasingly.
" Hn....Those women are to dull...They dont know how to have fun." He said good naturedly.
"Ah....I see."Kagome said softly.
"And You little one....Have you choosen someone?" Jak asked.
" No...Not yet....."Kagome said very quietly.
"Good...Then you and i can be the two unmated beauty's at the next ball!!!"Jak said in his usual dramatic
tone sure to cheer Kagome up.
Kagome smiled softly as the wind blew her long blue hair and her crimson eyes closed just letting
the breeze past. The rest of the group watched from the balcony with no jealous feelings knowing that
Kagome and Jak were best friends, family...but nothing more and they never would be...
"So..Jak what brings you here and how come you havent visited in such a long time?" Kagome asked.
" Well...Like you said i havent visited in 2 long....years because i was stuck in a torturous place they
call....SCHOOl!!!Argh it was horrible kaggy!!! Suikotsu and the others sent me away to get experience!!
*sniffles* So mean...They didnt allow me to call or mail or anything!!!!"Jak wailed.
Kagome chuckled shaking her head.
"That's just like Suikotsu to do something like that." Kagome said remembering the elder Shichinin
brother.
Kagome suddenly whipped her head to the south...A demon was approaching and fast. She narrowed
her eyes and gestured for Jakotsu to stand as well.
A huge oni came bursting through the foliage of trees. It was pink and towering over Kagome
and Jakotsu. Kagome caught sight of her team and gestured for them not to interfere. Jakotsu had
drawn his kunai (Im not sure if he fights or what he fights with but this is what he fights with in my fic)
Kagome withdrew two fans made of an unbreakable titanium she opened them so they formed a full
circle and hurled it at the demon embeding it deeply in it's forehead. It made a swipe for Jakotsu but
Kagome sliced off it's arm with her claws. Kagome then did a spinning kick to his head snapping his
neck.
Much to Kagome's and Jakotsu's as well as the Hakai's suprise the oni just snapped it's head
back into place. It stood at a tall 13 feet and at least 6 feet wide. It spit a fire ball at Kagome and Jak.
Kagome formed her protective barrier of Blue fire and it absorbed the fire ball. Kagome then jumped up
and retrived her fan and sent a blast of wind at him using her fan and power from her wind side. The
oni noticed her trying to protect Jak from afar and attacked him.
Kagome's eyes widened she dashed towards Jak intent on helping him away from the oni's
claws. She dived in front of him and took the blow meant for him. She knew that a blow like that would
have killed Jak but not her. She stood with three bloody gashes accross her back, her eyes a bloody
red. This is the scene that the spirit detectives walked in on. They all emerged with King Enma and
Koenma to see Kagome roar and charge the huge oni delivering swift, fast kicks and punches and
finally dealing the killing blow with her dance of the cherry blossons..
"Dance of the Cherry Blossoms." Kagome said and pink wind blades diced the oni up. Kagome
turned to face them and glared. She then hissed in pain as Jak touched her back.
"Jak!" Kagome snapped.
"Sorry!!!" He replied using his power healing her wounds. Kagome sighed as he gently healed her.
His talent was Healing whereas Ban's was fighting like a youkai. Her eyes glazed completely forgetting
her new guests as Jak massaged her sore muscles which were still repairing themselves.
Kagome let out a content growl as her eyes shifted from there pure red to her natural soft crimson
eyes. She blinked sleepily eyes shifting from red to blue. Finally settling on red with light blue specks.
" Kagome...." Jak said snapping her back to reality keeping her emotionless fascade on remembering
there new guests.
Kagome turned to them and raised a perfectly shaped brow.
"What can i do for you King Enma?" Kagome asked him pointedly ignoring the others.
" Kagome....We have something to tell you...."
