Okay everyone this is the Hiei/Kagome ending Part 2 the final end….So yeah…

Chapter 20: Alone Nevermore…

When the two lovers arose it was nearly dawn. Kagome and Hiei were indeed surprised that the others didn't find them. Of course they had put a barrier up but one would have surely noticed the magic by now. Kagome was by now very confused.

"Come On Hiei…Lets go back."

"Hn."

"Not this again…" Kagome groaned to herself.

Hiei said nothing only walked up to Kagome who was now fully dressed as he was and kissed his mark on her softly. Kagome smiled and returned the action with a kiss of her own. The two sped off out of the maze into the house and straight to the hot springs.

They both quickly bathed having no time to make all cuddly for they had felt the aura's of everyone else coming speeding towards them at alarming rates. Kagome was by now very nervous. Hiei sensing that stood near her offering her his strength.

Kagome grasped Hiei's rough hands and held them tight waiting for them to arrive when they were fully out of the springs, dressed. They all came busting in at once demanding answers and explanations asking why she and Hiei were together.

"Silence." Hiei hissed.

Everyone quieted immediately.

Kagome moved her collar away from her neck showing the clear proof of there mating. There were some gasps and murmurs of disappointment. When King Enma's strong and steady voice broke it speaking.

"Enough." Came Enma's voice.

Kagome glanced at him.

"Are you sure about this Kagome…After all he's done to you…Are you sure that you want to be with him?" he asked his voice gentle.

Kagome responded surely. "Yes…He didn't need to be forgiven, for in my heart…he never truly left."

King Enma nodded.

"Very well…If that is your choice we will accept it and one day all of us will come to accept it." King Enma said.

Everyone silently nodded while glancing at the new couple only to find they had disappeared.

Kagome and Hiei were standing on the balcony in the master bedroom. There hands laced together, Kagome's head resting on Hiei's chest. They both found someone like themselves…Someone to love, hold and cherish for the rest of there days…They would never be alone again…No…Never again….

They both knew that the times ahead of them would be challenging and difficult. But together, they could make it. They would…The two forbidden children, the two demons most thought were heartless…Were Alone Nevermore……
