Summary: This is an Inuyasha/YuYuHakusho x-over. Kagome has been having these dreams about this person, and she is slowly falling for him. What if he was real? And if he is, who is he? Well find out in the story.

~#With Kagome#~

[Kagome's POV]

I was taking a walk around the forest, and I was trying to get my mind off

Inuyasha and Kikyou. *sigh* Why does it still pain me? Why can't I stop loving him? I

should be used to it. After all, he does this every night; and each night I feel all numb

inside. He doesn't seem to notice, and I wonder why. Why can't he ever accept me as a

friend. Is he ashamed to have someone like me as a friend? *sigh* I just wish I could find

love. I can't always wait for Inuyasha. `I should let him go' I thought. I knew it wouldn't

be easy, but this was for the good.

I soon went back to camp, and I saw Miroku and Sango sleeping. Shippou was

cuddled up against Kirara. Inuyasha was still with Kikyou I guessed. I looked at the

distant stars and tears were forcing its way out of my eyes. A tear slid down my face, and

I didn't bother to wipe it away from my face. `I should go to sleep now since it's pretty

late' I thought as I went to roll out my sleeping bag on the ground. I went in my sleeping

bag, and after a few minutes, I fell asleep.

*^Kagome's Dream^*

I was walking through the same forest, and I was lost. I was trying to find my way

out of the forest, but I kept on getting myself more lost. I then sat down against a tree. I

looked into the forest to see if I could see light in any of the direction, but I only saw

darkness. I scanned the area I was in again, and I saw a pair of golden eyes.

"I-inu-inuyasha is that you?" I stuttered out. The figure took a step forward to

reveal Inuyasha.

"Of course it's me wench" Inuyasha said. As I stood up, and I was about to go up

to him, but an arrow whizzed passed me, only making a small scratch on my cheek. I

touched the cut with my fingers and looked at it. I stared at my own blood, and I looked

at Inuyasha. I saw Kikyou behind him holding her bow. She had an arrow notched, and

she was aiming it at me. I looked at Inuyasha with sorrow in my eyes.

"Inuyasha…?" I said while trying to choke back the tears that were threatening to

come out. He looked at me.

"What ama(bitch)?" he asked rudely. A tear escaped from my eye. "H-how c-

could y-you l-let h-her d-do th-this t-to m-me?" I asked/stuttered as another tear escaped

from my eye. Kikyou stood there smirking.

"It's because my dear reincarnation," Kikyou began to say, "he'll never love you

or see you as a friend. The only thing he sees in you is me and as a shard detector."

"Y-you're lying!!" I shouted out. Kikyou's smirk grew a bit.

"If I'm lying, then go ask him yourself." Kikyou said still smirking. I then looked

at Inuyasha. I was about to ask him, but he already spat it out.

"You're nothing more that a shard detector Kagome. You were never my friend.

You were just some copy of Kikyou, that's all that you were, and that's all you'll be."

Tears were now running down my face. Kikyou then shot her forgotten arrow at me. I

didn't even try to dodge it, because my heart was full of pain, betrayal, and sadness. I had

my eyes closed waiting for the blow, but it never came. I still had my eyes closed, and it

never came.

I opened my eyes, and it revealed a man in a black trench coat. He had a katana

out and blood was dripping from it. His back was turned towards me. I looked around,

and I saw an arrow broken in half. I looked around again, but I could not find Kikyou or

Inuyasha anywhere. `Did he kill them or something' I thought. I stepped closer to him,

and he tensed a bit. He then turned toward me. His face was shadowed, but the only thing

I could see was his eyes. His eyes were these ruby red colors, and I could not help but

gasp at his intense stare. For some reason, this aroused me, and this confused me greatly.

I could tell that he noticed my arousal, because amusement was displayed in his eyes.

"Who are you?" I asked. He did not answer, and this frustrated me greatly. `Wait

why am I getting frustrated? I don't usually get frustrated this fast.' I mused to myself.

After a few seconds, I said, "Well…. since you aren't going to tell me who you are….. I

want to say…. Thanks for saving me." I smiled at him. He was shocked for half a second,

but then boredom displayed in his eyes.

"You're welcome," he murmured. I was a bit shocked to say that he said

something. I really did not expect him to say something. `I wonder how he looks like' I

mused to myself.

I took a step closer to him, and he did the same. We were now one inch apart, and

he wrapped his arms around my waist and brought me closer to him. I felt so…. safe

being near him. I didn't understand why, but I just did. I turned my face away, because I

was blushing madly and I did not really want him to see. He then cupped my chin and

turned my face to look at him.

"I want you to know," he began to say, "That if you are ever in trouble… I

promise that, I'll find you, and protect you." You could very well say that I was so

shocked. A youkai said that, and I could not help but smile at him. It just made me all…

warm inside. He then shocked me by kissing me. I looped my arms around his neck, and

since he had his arms around my waist, he brought me closer to him a bit more, and….

*^End of Dream^*

I woke up, and it was a bit dark. I slowly raised my hand to touch my lip. For

some reason, I could still feel the kiss; and it was a dream. This was not supposed to

happen but… oh well. I thought. But, I just wished I didn't wake up. After all, I wanted

to know who this guy was and…. I mentally sighed and went to the river to wash my face.

~#With the YuYu Gang#~

They were battling 10 youkai in the forest, and the 10 youkais were giving them a

hard time. Yusuke shot his spirit gun at a youkai, but it dodged making it hit Hiei. The

youkai, that was fighting Hiei, took this as advantage and slashed Hiei across the chest.

Kurama defeated the youkai he was fighting and rushed to Hiei's side. The youkai was

about to make the final blow for Hiei, but it was slashed by Kurama's rose whip. Kurama

noticed Hiei became unconscious, and he had a terrible wound across his chest.

There were now two youkai left. `Yusuke and Kuwabara could handle them.'

Kurama mused to himself as he dragged Hiei away from the battle. Kurama tore his

sleeves and used the sleeves to wrap the wound around Hiei's body.

*^Hiei's Dream^*

I was walking through a forest, and I noticed a girl in this indecent clothes

walking mindlessly around the forest. I could not see her face, because her face was

shadowed. I followed her not far behind. She then sat against a tree, and I was about to go

to her and demand some answers as to where I am, when she said, "I-inu-inuyasha is that

you?" My curiosity grew a bit. Who the hell was Inuyasha? Was what ran through my

head. A figure stepped out in the clearing to reveal an inu-hanyou. `Hn. That must be

Inuyasha.' I mused to myself.

"Of course it's me wench" that Inuyasha guy said. I felt my anger starting to build.

She stood up, and an arrow whizzed passed her. I saw blood trickle down her face, and

my anger just rose up a notch. She touched the blood on her cheek and looked at the

blood that was on her fingertips. Then she looked at the inu-hanyou. There was now a

priestess standing there with her bow and arrows drawn out and was ready to shoot the

girl any moment. `Why is a priestess aiming for the girl? Is she controlled by that inu-

hanyou?' I mused to myself.

The girl I could tell was choking back the tears that were making its way out of

her eyes. "Inuyasha…?" she said. The inu-hanyou looked at her and said, "What bitch?"

A tear escaped from her beautiful face. `Wait… beautiful..? no, no, no, I did not

say that. I did not say beautiful.' I thought to myself. You should teach that hanyou a

lesson for calling that beautiful girl a bitch. A voice said in my head. `Yeah… I should.

That baka inu-hanyou doesn't know how to treat this beauty' After a few seconds, `wait I

did not call her a beauty. There is no way I called her that.' You already did... So why

don't you go over there and kick that hanyou and priestess's butt.

While I was talking to myself, the girl said, "H-how c-could y-you l-let h-her d-do

t-th-this t-to m-me?" she had another tear drip to the ground. I was enraged. She should

not be crying. I took out my katana, but I kept still.

The priestess then spoke, "It's because my dear reincarnation, he'll never love

you or see you as a friend. He'll only see you as me and as a shard detector." `Wait… did

that priestess call that girl her reincarnation?' She did you baka. Weren't you listening?

`Yes, I was listening, but it's so strange… How can there be a reincarnation and

incarnation there at the same time?' I do not know so stop asking yourself.

"Y-you're lying!!" She shouted out. The priestess just smirked.

"If I'm lying," the priestess began to say still smirking, "then why don't you ask

him yourself." The girl was about to ask the inu-hanyou, but he just spat it out.

"You're nothing more that a shard detector Kagome. You were never my friend.

You were just some copy of Kikyou, that's all that you were, and that's all you'll be."

Many tears were being spilled to the ground now. `Grr…. That bastard hanyou should not

do that to her.' Yea… but she does have a nice name that suits her very well. `Yea, she

does'

The priestess then shot her forgotten arrow at Kagome, and the only thing that

was in my mind was to save her. I raced towards her and used my katana to slice the

arrow in half. I then raced towards the priestess and the hanyou and slashed my katana at

them. When I made one slash at them, they turned into dust and blew away. Yet, there

was blood on my katana. `Well, that was strange.' Yea, that really was… but at least we

saved her. `Yea, you're right'

I noticed the girl take one-step towards me, and I tensed a bit. I turned around to

see that her face was still shadowed, but I could see that her eyes were these warm

chocolate brown eyes that radiate kindness, warmth, and love. I also noticed that she was

getting aroused, and I couldn't help but be amused by this.

"Who are you?" she asked me. `Should I tell her?' I thought to myself. Of course

you should. I was having this little argument with myself, and she then finally said

something to bring me out of my little argument with myself.

"Well…. since you aren't going to tell me who you are….. I want to say….

Thanks for saving me." She smiled at me. I was shocked for half a second, how can this

girl make me feel this way. I should not be feeling this, but... I am.

I shocked myself when I murmured, "You're welcome." She took a step closer to

me, and I took a step closer to her. We were one inch apart from each other. I wrapped

my arms around her waist and brought her closer to me. Our faces were a bit far apart.

She then turned her head away. I really did not want her to do that, so I cupped her chin

with my hand and turned her head to look at me. Again, I was shocked on what I said to

her, which was, "I want you to know, that if you are ever in trouble… I promise that, I'll

find you, and protect you." I could tell that she was all happy inside, because her eyes

told everything. I mentally smiled at that. I felt like kissing her right now, so I did it. I

really didn't expect her to loop her arms around me. I also brought her a bit closer to me

and….

*^End of Dream^*

I woke up to find myself bandaged up, and I could feel the kiss from the dream.

`Well that's weird.' I mused to myself. I also woke up to find out that, I was in a room on

a bed. I saw the fox was on a chair, eyes shut. I also saw the two baka ningens snoring on

the couch. I was about to get out of this bed when I heard that damn toddlers voice.
