Chapter 1

The Feudal Era meets Hyrule

~*~ The story starts during the battle of Link, The Hero of Time and Zelda, The Princess of Hyrule against the King of Evil, Ganondorf~*~

Link pulls out the Master Sword, getting ready for the new battle against the now transformed Ganondorf. Link had already defeated Ganondorf's human form, and as a last resort, Ganondorf transformed into a youkai that was about ten ft. tall and had goat feet and two huge flaming swords. He also had green fur all over his body and had two golden horns on top of his head.

Ganon (he is called Ganon when he transforms into a youkai) only wanted to fight with Link, so he magically made a fire circle around Link and himself, shutting out Zelda so he could prevent her from helping her beloved Link. Link instantly dropped his guard to check on Zelda and make sure she was not harmed by the giant fire. Ganon seized this opportunity and struck Link. But Link saw the attack coming and pulled his sword up at the last minute to block the attack. But because he did this, his sword was knocked from his grasp and flew over by Zelda.

The sword went into the rock ground and stuck there. Only Link was able to pull the sword from the ground but since it was out of the ring of fire, he was not able to get his sword.

`Kuso' Link thought to himself. But luckily Link remembered that he had his Megaton Hammer. Link smirked at Ganon.

But Ganon failed to notice the smirk on Link's face and started laughing at Link saying, "You have no chance of winning against me now, Link, the Hero of Time. Without your magical sword and your precious Zelda, you will surely die. For the only weapons that can *kill* me are that cursed sword of yours and Zelda's sage magic, and you have neither, hahaha."

But Link replied, "At least I can still *hurt* you with this!" He pulled out his hammer. Ganon looked at Link in surprise, but quickly hid the emotion by saying, "even if you *could* hurt me with that pathetic excuse for a weapon, you will never be given the time to try to do so, because I will squash you first!" He tried to hit Link, but Link was too quick for him. Link dodged the attack easily, ran behind Ganon and pounded Ganon's tail with his hammer. Ganon roared in pain and fell to the ground.

The fire encircling the two dropped. Link ran to Zelda to make sure she was ok, then went to his sword and pulled it out of the ground easily. Now both Link and Zelda were ready to fight!

Well, how was it?! This is my first fanfic so please tell me what you think so I can decide if I want to put the rest of these chapters up. Yes I already have the next 7 chapters typed just in case y'all really like this story. So please review ok? Oh and I promise it starts getting really good in the next chapter so please say you want to read the next chapter! Even my friend, who has never even played the Zelda games and doesn't even know what was happening in the story (but she does watch Inuyasha) loved this story! After she read the 2nd chapter, she was totally hooked and begging me to write more! (Sorry Rindi, I had to put that!
