Kagome and Sango made breakfast for everyone. Kurama was surprised to see the hanyou got a cup of instant noodles. Kagome giggled and explained that Inuyasha could live for Ramen alone if he had a saying in it. The hanyou grunted something inaudible as he inhaled his treat. After he had finished his noodles he took Shippou on his shoulders and called for Kirara.

- Where are you going Inuyasha? asked Miroku.

- My brother is near by, I thought that Shippou perhaps wanted to play with someone in his own age, said Inuyasha and Shippou nodded happily.

- Ohh…

- Don't worry, we'll catch up with you later, just head north ok.

- Ok Inuyasha, and don't tease your brother too much about what happened yesterday, said Kagome.

- I won't I promise, said Inuyasha mischievously.

After Inuyasha got out of sight Sango shook her head.

- He is going to tease him, she said.

- Yep, he is, said Miroku and pulled Kagome down to sit in his lap.

- I see that you two have said some good things to each other? said Kurama and imitated Miroku's movements and took Sango into his arms.

- Yes, Miroku asked me to be his wife and I have accepted, said Kagome with stars in her eyes.

Sango removed herself from her mate's grip and rushed over to Kagome and pulled her "sister" into a heart warming hug. Neither Miroku nor Kurama could hold back a groan when the two girls began giggling about wedding and dresses.

Inuyasha found Sesshoumaru not very far from their camp. He was greeted by a happy girl. She launched herself onto the hanyou's form and he easily caught her and hugged her tight.

- What are you doing here uncle Inu? snarled Sesshoumaru.

- I am here because I thought that our children perhaps wanted to have fun together, said Inuyasha with a smile and rustled the black hair on top of Rin's head.

- Umm, Inuyasha, came Shippou's small voice.

- Yes what is it Shippou?

- What do you mean by that?.. Our children??

- Why don't you and Rin play that tag-thing that Kagome taught you ok? And take Kirara with you, said Inuyasha. A small blush coloured his cheeks.

- Ok Inuyasha, come Rin, let's play.

- Jaken, go with them! Ordered Sesshoumaru with his emotionless voice and the little toad demon tumbled after the children.

The two brothers' watched as the little fox and the girl began laughing and running around like crazed butterflies. Inuyasha felt a warm feeling spread inside his chest and he moved to sit down. Sesshoumaru looked at his younger brother and could not help but wonder what made him act like this, so caring. And displaying that so openly? No this was not like Inuyasha at all. Although it was kind of nice, not fighting like dogs over a bone. Sesshoumaru's mouth actually twitched in an attempt to smile at that statement.

- I am sorry for yesterday… niisan, said Inuyasha after a few moments of silence.

Sesshoumaru raised an eyebrow in confusion, had his rude little brother used an honorific? When did hell freeze over?

- And I am sorry for the…. arm, mumbled Inuyasha and made a gesture towards Sesshoumaru's non existing left arm.

- Have that strange miko crushed you to the ground too many times Inuyasha? asked Sesshoumaru, he was actually feeling kind of freaked out by his younger brother's behaviour.

- Yeah, perhaps she has, but I… I don't want to fight with you niisan, I have hated it every time we have crossed swords and I came here today, hoping that you perhaps wanted to join our group, continued Inuyasha with the same low voice.

- Why?

- Because of the children mostly, they need to be with children and if they were to travel together we could easily let Kirara, that two headed dragon of yours and Jaken…

- Jaken?

- Perhaps he just can tag along then, smiled the hanyou. - But they would be safer together and we could see to that they won't witness any blood shed. They are too young for that. I feel bad every time Shippou sees us fight against demons.

- I agreed, they would be safer together with Ah Uhn and that fire cat of yours, nodded Sesshoumaru. - Then I suppose your little pack have grown a little bit more.

Sesshoumaru thought he would pass on when he saw the glittering eyes of his brother. This was getting more and more crazy every minute. Inuyasha almost looked like he was going to hug him, and that was something the lord did not want.

Suddenly a scream could be heard, Rin's scream, and Shippou's angry voice. Both Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru flew with the speed of light towards the children.
