A/N~Ok guys this is my first ever cross over fic...I love Inuyasha and Yu Yu alot they are my fav anime-mated series..and recently Ive been on a Yu Yu IY crossover binge and have read some really awsome fics, so I wanted to try my hand. Just so you know this will contain bad language, lemons and violence, hopefully, not good at violence lol..anyhow hope it meets with my faithfull reviewers standards..I know alot of you are die hard Kag Inu fans as I am, but I thought I would try another love intrest for Kagome. Hope it meets with your standards my friends...huggles and smiles Mija..:-)

Chapter 1~Surprises!

~~~Kagome climbed out of the well with a small groan. She needed a bath and a change of clothes badly. She was all dirty and full of demon blood, some yucky greenish slime stuff the wierd spider demon had for so called blood. Her hair was stiff and icky feeling and her clothes were getting stiff and itchy plastered against her skin. And to make matters worse she and Inuyasha had had another fight. He really hated when she came back to her time and made a huge deal about it. But she hadnt been home for a month and she missed her family. It had taken her 3 sits and some help from Miroku and Sango to get her to the well and keep him from following her. She needed some time to herself. She loved the puppy eared hanyou, she really did, although it wasnt the love she once had for him, back when she was young and her infatuation with Inuyasha had been one of a girls first major crush. Now she was older, eighteen to be exact and she and Inuyasha were the best of friends, he protected her and loved her, but even she had realized that it was that of a best friend and not of a man who loved her as a woman. Thus her childhood crush had vanished and in its place remained the pure love and loyalty of a dear friend who would die for him if need be. She still refused to watch him go to hell with Kikyo, only because she loved him enough to want him to be happy and live, if she could she would give him Kikyo and revel in thier happiness, but even she knew that Inuyasha's once love for the dead priestess too had changed, as with her, Kikyo had been his first childhood crush and he had outgrown that. He still loved her in the sense that he would do what he could for her, see her soul rest and avenge her, but he didnt love her like he thought he once had.

~~~Sighing she climbed out lugging her huge back pack and tiredly walked towards the wellhouse door. When she opened the door she was blinded by the sun momentarily and had to squint to focus. When she did she let out an ear splitting scream. After that things went blank and Kagome fell into a pit of darkness.

~~~Hiei was called into Koenma's office and stood there with a scowl on his face. He really hated having to do these 'jobs' for Koenma, but he was still under probation and if he wanted to hurry up and get this over with.

"Why have you called me here Koenma?" Hiei asked with a blank cold tone. Koenman didnt even acknowledge it, since he was used to Hiei's lack of mannors and cold calculating demenor.

"Yes Hiei, I have an assignment for you..a very important one I might add."

"Then why call me?? I thought you preffered that stupid ningen Yusuke and his oaf of a friend Kuwabara? better yet why not that goody goody fox Kurama?" Hiei asked with irratation.

"First of all Yusuke and the rest are on another important assignment at the moment, and second, this assignment will be in the Makai....you have many contacts and know the Makai better than Yusuke and the others do, since you spend most of your time there..thus you are the best one for this mission." the toddler demi god replied seriously.

"What is the job?" Hiei asked rather bored.

"Two days ago a young human girl by the name of Kagome Hiragashi was kidnapped from her family home, a shrine...evidence points to a demon from the Makai, but so far we are unable to determine why a demon would kidnap her or how she was unable to sense its presence before it abducted her."

"What do you mean detect??" Hiei asked, wondering how a human was supposed to detect a demon. Other than Yusuke and Kuwabara he didnt know any humans that could detect demons or thier spirits.

"And why all the fuss over one ningen female?? Im sure several have vanished over the years and have not required the services of your interference." he added. Koenma scowled.

"Yes there have been others who have been taken upon occasion, and no we did not choose to interfere, but this girl is diffrent..she is the reincarnation of a great Miko and has Miko abilities...but what makes her case more urgent is that she has been traveling to the fuedal era of Japan for the last three years, seeking the shards of the Shikon No Tama, which she is the protector of...if she does not complete her mission in the fuedal era, it can have great consequences in the time line and alter the present as we know it." Koenma replied direly.

"What do you mean she TRAVELS to the fuedal era?" Hiei asked with a scowl. He really hated it when things like this were kept from him and the others.

"Just what I said...at the shrine where she lives, dwells an old well which houses the bones of demons long since dead..on her 15th birthday a demon that had once been killed revived after sensing the Shikon No Tama in her body..it pulled her threw the well and bought her back to the fuedal era where it tried to steal the whole jewel...surficit to say the jewel was broken and the young Miko was charged with putting the jewel back together with the help of a monk, a demon exterminator and a Inu Hanyou, the well allows her to pass back and forth between the fuedal era and the present...without her presence in the fuedal era the jewel will never be complete and thus things will not fall into place as they already have..our timeline will change and who knows what sort of things would happen if that came to pass." Koenma explained and Hiei growled.

"Why have you never told any of us about this?? did you not think it wise to tell any of us about this?" Hiei growled, mad about being kept out of the loop on some very major going ons.

"Till now it was not of concern to anyone, not even myself....higher powers controled this part of her destiny..but now things have been altered by her kidnapping and it is up to us to get her back before any real damage can be done to the time line."

"Why me?? this sounds like something big..something you would intrust to your faithfull spirit detective Uremeshi?"

"As I said with your knowledge of the Makai and all its happenings you are the best one for this mission Hiei...we have not found out anything about why she was really kidnapped but the word is that the demon who kidnapped her took her to the Makai."

"There are only 3 reasons any demon would kidnap a ningen and take her to the Makai..one...to feed on her..and if that was the case then he would of most likely done it the minute he kidnapped her...second..to sell her on the black market as a slave..which is a good possiblity..a miko would fetch a handsome price in the Makai..third...the demon was hired to kidnap her by someone who holds a grudge against her." Hiei stated.

"As far as I can gather she has no enemies in the Makia..any demon that would of had issue with her were killed long ago.."

"Its still a possibility that she is being held prisoner as a grudge, but I agree..I think the best reason would be as a slave on the black market."

"Good..you will go and check up on any leads you can Hiei...I dont have to warn you how dire this will be the longer it takes to find her..."

"Ya ya I know..with you everything is always dire." Hiei muttered under his breath as he stepped into the portal that would take him to the Makai.

A/N~Okies guys tell me what you think so far..again this is my first cross over fic..and Im just winging it so far..my muse is fickled it refused to let this idea die..sigh anyhow I know its not my normal writing but hopefully still enjoyable..let me know k?? thanks much huggles and smiles Mija..:-)
