Chapter 13~Mating Ritual

~~~Kagome had taken great care not to look at Hiei at all. In this form, any direct stares could be considered challenging, provoking him to prove his superior strength to her. He was the male, therefore the one who demanded dominance. She had been soo into her own thoughts and huddled into the tiniest form she could make herself, that she hadnt heard Hiei come up to her till she felt him right in front of her just before a peice of cooked rabbit meat was shoved in front of her face on a large green leaf. Kagome jumped and eeeped at the suddeness of his appearance, and the lack of noise he made when he moved. That could be soo damn unnerving.

"EAT!" he commanded and growled deep and low, she could barely make out the word, it was so gutteral in nature, feral, animalistic.

~~~Kagome wanted to look up at him and glare daggers into him. She hated this submissive crap. She hated that he had startled her, hated that he was commanding her and if she wanted to live she had to obey. But most of all, she hated that she was worried about him. Would he ever be back to normal? What had that freaky she/flower do to him to make him go all feral? Had she/it done something to make him this way? Would he loose more of himself the longer he stayed in this form like Inuyasha did when he went full Demon? Although as far as she could tell Hiei was full, not half like Inuyasha, so hopefully he would be ok. But what she absolutly hated the most with every fiber in her being, was how much she wished he would go back to normal because although not repulsed by this form, she thought he was totally hot in his regular form and she missed looking at that bronzed flawless skin. Lean, sinewy but well defined muscles that rippled everytime he moved or flexed in some small way. And wasnt that the worst? To be in this freaky situation and all she could think about was his hot little bod and what it would feel like next to hers? Talk about shame and guilt.

"EAAAATT!!" Hiei demanded more feircly, as he put his face right in hers and glared wickedly at her, thier noses almost touching, hot puffs of air that hit her face when he breathed.

~~~Kagome glance up at him briefly, annoyance clear in her eyes, which didnt go unnoticed by him, by the way he growled deep in his chest and narrowed his eyes at her. She looked away and grabbed the food from him and went into submissive mode again, although her posture clearly showed her irritation at doing so. He growled again and Kagome muttered under her breath as she brought the piece of meat to her mouth and began to eat it. Another low growl told her she had heard her muttered words and was not happy about them. She had insulted his inteligence and questioned his parentage. Damn she'd been hanging around Inuyasha waaaaay to much, she thought as she continued to eat and look as submissive as she could.

~~~As she ate she was aware that he had lept, or more like appeared a few feet away but in front of her, as he took up his own piece of meat and ate as well. She could feel his eyes on her, ALL of them and they sent shivers up her spine. Oddly she wasnt affraid persay. She was worried of course. He was a demon, one she didnt know at all really and he was in a state of unrational thinking at the moment. She sneakily peeked at him and saw that indeed he was staring at her. He was crouched on his haunches<sp?>, as he ate the meat, all the while staring at her as if he wanted to eat HER. That sent another shiver up her spine, but this one had her feeling a bit aroused. She growled soflty and scolded herself for her shamefull thoughts as she concentrated on eating and NOT looking at the fire demon a few feet from her.

~~~She ate slowly, trying to prolong what ever would come next, but eventually there was no more meat left and she grabbed a piece of her tattered sheet and cleaned her hands and face. The cave was so quiet, it was eerie. She looked up and was a bit suprised when she didnt see Hiei anywhere. She looked about the cave, which was small and well lit by the small fire at the entrance. As she was begining to wonder where he had gone she felt him. His aura, his presence, and he was right behind her. Before she could turn around or utter a word, he had grabbed her and forced her into a position she was sure was not a good sign at all. All fours. Shit.

~~~Kagome tried to get up, tried to get out of this awkward situation, but soon stopped when she heard a loud growl right before she felt him nip her on the left butt cheek. She gasped and stood stock still. Had he just bit her in the ass? She thought with mortification. But what made it worse is that she actually found it arousing, which made the entire span of her body turn a nice dark shade of pink. Which got darker when she heard Hiei behind her, and if she wasnt mistaken he was chuckling at her. Ok that got her dander up. When she would of said something, she gasped again when she felt him behind her, and over her. His chest was plastered against her back and his still clothed nether regions were pressed firmly against her buttocks. She could feel his very aroused and erect cock, and she eeeped yet again, realizing how damn huge he was. Who would of thought such a small demon, had such a humungous package stashed in this slightly baggy black pants of his.

~~~She stood perfectly still as she felt him begin to sniff her hair, moving some locks from the side of her neck, as he moved to sniff that spot as well as dart some rather sensuous licks upon her skin. She shuddered at the feel and closed her eyes, knowing and having known all along, what his intention was and had always been the moment he scooped her up and tossed her over his shoulder and sped through the forest. He was going to mate with her. She didnt know if she was affraid or excited by the prospect. She admitted that since she had first laid eyes on his sculpted bronze chest and spikey black hair, she had been attracted and aroused. She had chalked it up to the crap Inari had put in her food and in the oil that had been rubbed into her body. But what the hell was her excuse now? Because wether she liked to admit it or not she was getting very aroused by his actions. Who wouldnt be?

~~~Hiei started the mating ritual. His entire being went on instinct and thought ceased to exist as nature, his nature, took hold and led him through the acts of claiming his mate. First he smelled her, took the scent of her into himself so that he would always know it, ingraining it into his soul and blood so that nothing could ever take it from him. Her scent would forever be etched into his very being. Then he tasted her. Licking at her neck, the pulse point that beat franticly under his lips and tongue. Then he moved those licks down her spine and worked his way liesurly down the middle, knowing as he did, that he was rubbing his skin against hers so that his own scent would cover her and seep into her skin so that other males would know she was taken, know she was his. When he got to her nice round ass he nipped at the right cheek, grinning in satisfaction when she gasped and the smell of her arousal spiked higher. He soothed the slight bite mark with more licks, which he relished as he tasted both round cheeks on his tongue.

~~~After taking great care to lick every inch of her lucious bottom, he moved down her thighs sniffing, nipping, licking, growling when her musky smell grew stronger and stronger, her breathing shorter. He lavished every inch of the back of her legs, stopping briefly to lap and nip at the crease where her knees bent. After he was done with that, he moved over her once more and gripped her hips and grinded his aching arousal against her bottom, letting her know that her future mate was well equipped to take care of her needs, to please and satisfy her, like a good mate should. Then to her surprise he flipped her over onto her back and covered her body with his. He grinned, showing her his fangs, showing her that he was a good provider, stong, able to protect her. Her eyes widened as he bought his straddled her hips and bought his hands up before her, flexing his fingers and showing her his claws, thier sharpness, testament to thier power to protect her and thier pups. The mating ritual called for him to show her these things, to prove to her, he would be a good provider, protect her and any future pups they had with his life. Then he gently ran his claws from her collar bone down her chest, over her plump ripe breasts and down along her stomache. Slight pink marks were left in thier wake but no welts sprung or blood flowed from her skin. Thats how light his touch had been upon her. This part of the ritual was to show her that although his claws were deadly and could kill, they could and would always be gentle towards her, his mate, and any pups they had.

~~~Kagome shivered as his claws gently raked against her skin. She had known a bit of fear when he had bared his fangs, then straddled her and showed her his claws. She didnt understand what he was doing, and was uneasy. But the claws did not hurt her at all, instead they felt good. Then sent burning thrills through out her body, making the small ball of lava that was building in her abdoman grow bigger and hotter. After the claw thing, he layed back down on her, his face in front of her. She let out a moan when he nipped at her bottom lip and then licked the slight sting away. She thought he was going to kiss her but instead he moved down to her chin, sniffing, nipping and licking, working his way down along her neck, pausing at the pulse point on her neck to suckle on it with a few nips thrown in. Then he continued the sniffing, nipping and licking down along her collar bone. Then her chest between the valley of her breasts. She wanted to strangle him when he took his damn sweet time and languidly nipped and licked the entire area of her right breast but never touching her nipple, which stood erect and begging for attention.

~~~Finally his lips decended to her aching nipple. But instead of a kiss he rubbed his lips across the tip lightly, teasingly, the tips of fangs that potruded from his closed mouth only adding to the torment when the brushed over the very sensitive flesh. Kagome moaned and growled in fustration. He nipped her rather roughly and growled, Kagome not doubting that it meant for her to be patient. She groaned and let him do what he would do no matter how much it frustrated her. After a little more caresses of his lips he darted his tongue out and began to lick her. Kagome arched up and shoved her fingers into the silkiness of his ebony hair. She had never felt anything soo good in her life. But much to his dismay he stopped, but she didnt get a chance to protest before he engulfed her nipple into his mouth and sucked on it with fervor. Kagome could stop the sounds that came out of her mouth. This felt too good. She felt the lava ball growing and the wetness between her legs growing. Her body began to tense and she knew something was about to snap within her. Then he stopped. Kagome could of killed him. He looked down at her and grinned, his fangs looking wicked but arousing against the bottom of his lips.

A/N~Ok dont kill me k??? please??? I had to cut it off here because there was not enough room on this particular document to finish. Sigh. But I will be posting the next chap as soon as I have it typed up. I know you all were expecting a nice juicy lemon in this chap, sorry to dissapoint but, I type what my fingers and mind have in them. Sorry.
