Hey guys I am having too much fun writing this story. So here is another chapter. I hope you guys like it.

Chapter 5: falling for her

Kagome made the spirit bow and arrow appear again. This time it wasn't as hard. She pulled the string back and fired the arrow. It stuck in the bark of the tree for about 2 second and then disappeared.

"Good job. That would have been enough to kill a medium strength demon."

"So I'm doing good?"

"Yes I would say that is an understatement. You will be able to conquer this in a few days then we can move on. Now try again. This time I want you to try and keep it in for a while longer. Ok?"

"I'll do it."

Kagome was determined to have this packed down.

She made the bow and arrow appear once again, and then released the arrow.

It soared thru the air and again it stuck in the tough bark.

It stayed there for a good 20 seconds before kagome fell to her knees.

"That was hard to make it stay that long."

Kurama helped her up. As soon as she hit the floor he was by her.

"Are you alright?"

"Ya it was hard to keep it going like that tough. I was getting dizzy."

"Kagome you are doing very well but we have been working for a long while. You may do as you wish but all of us should get to bed soon."

"I will don't worry. It's getting dark."

"Yes and kurama will show you to the room that you will be staying in. oh you don't mind sharing a room do you."

"If kurama is ok with it I am ok with it."

"Yes genkai that will be fine."

The old woman nodded her head and left the two outside alone.

Kagome sat back down on the grass and sat Indian style, hands on her knees, eyes closed.

She was meditating. She began to glow with a dim golden light and then hover about 2 inches above the ground.

Kurama stared in shock as she did so.

"Kagome do you realize you are floating?"

She fell with a hard thud.

"Ouch! How the hell did that happen?"

"I just said did you know you were floating?"

"I was?"

"Ya about two inches above the ground."

"Wow I didn't know that."

"Well you do know. We need to find you some clothes. You can't stay in those the whole time we are here. C'mon."

Kurama led her inside and down the hall to their room. He opened the closet to reveal many types of clothing that looked like they would fit kagome.

"Try these on. You can meditate in them."

Kurama handed her a pair of black short shorts and a white tank top with spaghetti straps.

He stepped out of the room while she changed and when kagome came back out he had to stop himself from looking at her. (Wink wink nudge nudge)

"Thanks kurama. This is much better. I'll be out in the front."

Kagome left him in the hall of the dojo all by himself.

`Wow she is…perfect. I think I am falling in love with this angel. But…what about hiei. I don't love him like a boyfriend or lover but he will never give up. Chikuso he has been chasing after me since we met. What do I do?'

He walked to the front door and looked at kagome. Her glow was slightly brighter this time and she floated a little higher.

He looked at her body, studying her perfect form. Her shoulders were covered slightly by strands of ebony locks. Her skin was a creamy tan that shown with the glow of gold.

`Kagome what are you doing to me. Hiei will not give up but … I think I love…you'

He was so confused. He just met her, was this love at first site?

Is that even possible?"

So many questions ran thru his head when all he wanted to do was go over there and kiss her neck, lips, and face. To hold her in his arms and cuddle till the sun went down.

"Kurama I need to talk to you inside."

Genkai stood behind him.

"Yes alright."

They walked to the room farthest away from kagome, not wanting her to hear.

"Kurama I see the look you give her, even though you have only know her a short time. But you have to understand something. We are going to find a way for her to get home. And she will leave. And you will have a broken heart."

"I…"

"Yes see. You can't even defend your feelings for her."

"I am in love."

"I know but you have to stay away from her. This will only lead to trouble, especially with hiei. You are just asking for trouble. Please, for the good of everyone, stay away from lady kagome."

He looked at the floor and nodded slightly.

"alright I won't start a relationship with her, are you happy?"

"yes I am."

The old woman walked away leaving a confused, depressed kurama behind.

` why the hell would I stay away from someone I think I love. What if I do love her and I miss my chance to tell her. I don't want to be with hiei.'

This whole thing was way to confusing for him to deal with right now. He was tired and hungry and sleepy. `I will deal with this tomorrow…'
