Hey everyone, first I have a recommendation. The story a friend told me to read on Fanfiction.net was so awesome. The author is Paper Stars id#: 1881701 and it is called `My Bloody Princess.' Oh man was it ever a good story, really sad and morbid but expertly written.

You should all check it out. You would love it.

Chapter 8: Backstabber

Kagome didn't want to talk to Kurama now; she wanted to stay away from him. It hurt to think about it. Why did he have to be gay?

She looked around the room and noticed that Kurama's stuff had been taken out.

`Where did he go?'

Kagome didn't want him to leave, but she didn't want him to stay. It was so confusing.

She got out of bed and walked down the hall to the kitchen. The whole gang was there, talking amongst themselves.

"Hey Kagome!" Boton smiled brightly at her.

"How is your arm?"

"Better now. It doesn't hurt like it did."

Kurama caught her eye but she quickly turned away.

"Do you wanna sit down" Kuwabara got up and waved for her to sit down in his chair.

"Thank you Kuwabara." She smiled at him, making him drool dumbly.

"Hey Kuwabara, how is your girlfriend" Yuske laughed at the dumbfounded friend.

"Uh I gotta go! Yuske I will talk to you later ok."

He bolted out of the room and left everybody in it cracking up with laughter.

"Hey Kagome, you feel like going shopping? Think you're up to it?"

"Ya sounds like fun put I don't think…"

"Genkai suggested it to me."

"Oh in that case let me get changed."

She stood up and left the room then came out 20 minutes later ready to go.

"Ok let's go."

Boton grabbed her coat and both walked out of the dojo.

Half an hour later they were at the huge mall for a good shopping fest.

"Hey Kagome, I need to talk to you."

"What about Boton?"

"It's about Kurama."

"Oh I already know that he is gay."

"Kurama is not gay. Genkai made that up so you would stay away from him. He is hot for you. She told us her `Plan' when we first arrived this morning. He really does like you."

Kagome looked at her.

"I am really glad he isn't gay, I really like him too."

"I knew you did. Don't worry I will help you see him."

"Thank you Boton."

Kurama sat, depressed, on the front porch.

"Hey Kurama what's the matter?"

"Oh Hiei it's you. I have a problem and I don't know what I am going to do."

"Why don't you tell me about it and I will see if I can help you."

He hesitated before beginning. "Alright.

I like this girl but everyone keeps saying that I should go out with this guy but I am not gay, now they are trying to keep me from her and I think that she thinks I am gay."

"Oh well does she like you back?"

"Ya, I think so."

"But I am sure this boy loves you more." Hiei put his hand on Kurama's knee and caressed it softly.

"Hiei I told I do not like you and I am NOT GAY!"

"Kurama I love you. I want to be with you so badly, you mean everything to me. Please just give me the chance to prove my love."

"NO! I am not gay and I will never be gay. I love Kagome and that will not change."

Hiei sighed and got up. "Fine for now, but you will be mine."

He left without another word and five minutes after he left, Kagome and Boton walked up.

"Kurama I am so glad you're out here. Boton told me about Genkai and all the other stuff. I am so glad your not gay, I really like you." She fell into his arms, snuggling close to him.

"Good for a minute today I thought you hated me."

"I could never hate you." She looked into his eyes and he returned her thoughtful gaze.

"I hate to break up your little love fest but someone is coming."

They broke away from each other and Genkai walked out.

"What are you all doing out here?"

She looked at Boton with a stern glance.

"We were…"

Kurama never got to finish her sentence. Dark clouds swirled in the sky and lighting struck the earth.

"Oh no." Kagome muttered, scooting closer to Kurama.

Inuyasha sat in the dirt. He had lost it with out his beloved Kagome. It's funny how you don't know what you have till you lose it.

The day Kagome had disappeared he had transformed into the bloodthirsty demon that ran thru his father's side of him.

He had run away and not stopped for well over 5 days. Inuyasha had not eaten or drunken anything since then.

`My dear dear Kagome, why have you left me? I want you to be back here with me.'

Blood dripped from open wounds on his body. His muscles hurt and stung if he moved them. Inuyasha was all drained and barely had enough energy to think about her.

The whole point of running was to forget her and forget she was gone.

`What if I never see her again?'

He sat motionless on the leaf-ridden floor of the forest, soaked in his own blood.

"Please come back to me Kagome." Were the words he whispered before he fell into darkness.
