Secluded Problems

 

A/N: Hiya! My friend, Lona-chan, is over, but she doesn't like helping me with writing... I don't know why. I guess she doesn't like to write. So sad.. Oh, well! Hope ya'll like this chappie! READ AND REVIEW YA'LL!!!!!

"SHIPPOOO!!! I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!!!!!"

 

"Looks like Kagome is up," Tima sighed. She was actually not hyper right now. She and Hiro were sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee when the scream rang throught the house.

 

"Yep," Hiro sighed. He started buttering his toast that just popped up from the toaster. Tima dug her fork into her eggs and slowly took a bite. Suddenly, a ball of red fur flew into the room and hid itself in Tima's hair. Tima and Hiro sighed again as Kagome ran into the room, anger evident on her features.

 

"SHIPPO!!!" She screamed causing everyone in the room, including herself, to wince at the volume.

 

"HEEEELP!!!" Shippo screamed from Tima's hair. Kagome advanced slowly. "KAA-SAN'S GONE PSYCO!!!!"

 

This caused Tima to start laughing again. Hiro sighed as he pulled out a brown paper bag from one of the drawers.

 

"I knew we would need a lot of these," He mumbled to himself as he stuck it over Tima's mouth. Tima's laughs slowly died away and she fell asleep. Shippo jumped onto the now calm Kagome's shoulder. Miroku ran into the room and smirked as he saw Kagome. Hiro looked confused before he saw what Kagome was wearing. A plain white t-shirt. Kagomer looked, wondering what they were looking at, and gasped.

 

"YOU HENTAIS!!!!" She screamed and punched them both in the head. They both fell over unconscious. Kagome grumbled as she walked up the stairs, put Shippo in his room, and ran into her room to change into some clothes. Ten minutes later, Kagome came out wearing black cargo pants, black skater shoes with the green laces, black eyeliner with green eyeshadow, and a green tank top with a silver dragon on it. She wore a silver necklace with a black dragon with green eyes weaving it's way through the chain, two anklets on her left foot, and one on the right. Checking the time, she ran to the Hummer, realized that she didn't know how to drive, growled in frustration, and took off running using her youkai speed.

 

Three minutes later, Kagome appeared in the Sarayashiki girl's bathroom, not even breaking sweat, and walked out of the restroom and into the main hall. She looked around before seeing the large sign labled, "OFFICE" and walking in. She secretary didn't even look up as she walking in. Kagome tapped her hands on the desk impatiently and the secretary finally looked up. She saw Kagome's irritated face and gulped slgihtly. Some people could just be intimidating. Kagome smirked inwardly, Mimicking Sesshaomru wasn't a bad idea after all.

 

"Hai?" The secreatry asked as sne looked around the room.

 

"Higurashi, Kagome," Kagome said irritatedly as she looked at her nails wishing her claws were here. "Schedule, onegai."

 

"The secreatry looked through the stack of papers on her desk and found her schedule. "Here," She said.

 

"Onegai," Kagome thanked her.

 

"Wear the uniform tommorrow. Kagome glared at her.

 

"No,"

 

"Yes," Kagome sighed and left the room.

 

"Nope!" She called back. The secretary sighed. Another punk.

 

"Hmmmm," Kagome mumbled. "Where's Chemistry?"

 

"Turn left next hall, two rights, one left and last door on the right," Kagome whirled around to see a smiling Kurama.

 

"Hey," Kagome said. "I didn't know you went to this school."

 

"I didn't know you went ot this school either," Kurama said. "It just so happens that I have Chemistry."

 

"Chemistry sucks," Kagome whined. Kurama chuckled lightly. "My brothers are making me take it."

 

"Why?" Kurama asked.

 

"Cuz they want me to be smart," Kagome answered with a pout. Kurama chuckled again and they entered the room. Kagome took a seet in the back while Kurama sat in the front of the room. A guy tried to sit next to Kagome, but she put her books onto the side of the table next to her and her feet in the chair. The guy sighed and took a seat on the other side of the classroom. Kagome sighed and started to think about Sengoku Jidai.

 

A few squeals interrupted her train of thought and Kagome turned from looking out of the window and saw all of the other girls in the room were surrounding Kurama. She giggled a few times before coming up with a plan to help her poor friend. Suddenly, she walked over to the window and squealed and gasped. This caught the girls and Kurama's attention.

 

"OOO! OOOO!' Kagome pretended to squeal. "USHER'S DOWN THERE!!!!"

 

Immediately, all of the girls ran to the window. Kagome cast an illusion of Usher standing in the gardens of the school. The girls all screamed and ran out of the classrom. Kurama sighed. He walked over to Kagome.

 

"Was Usher really down there?" He asked softly.

 

"Nope!" Kagome exclaimed causing Kurama to chuckle. "Why?"

 

"Just wondering. He set his things down on the table and pulled the chair form her feet. "I think I'll sit here."

 

"Okay," Kagome said. The teacher began the lesson and Kagome fell asleep(like I do sometimes). Kurama sighed.

 

"Great," He mumbled. "Another Yusuke..... I think..."

Lunch came quickly for Kagome. She had Chemistry with Kurama, English with Kurama, Yusuke, Hiei(he didn't show up), and Kuwabara, and Math with Yusuke and Kuwabara(they just weren't in the classroom).

 

"Kagome!" Kagome looked around and saw Yusuke walking up to her with a tray of food. He sat under the weeping willow next to her. They had called each other and talked for hours making them like brother and sister. Even though they have only known each other for a short time. Kagome made friends very easily and she and Yusuke had similar personailties.

 

"Hey," Kagome said.

 

"Math sucks," Yusuke complained.

 

"Yeah!" Kagome agreed. "Come to think of it, where was Kuwabara during Math? He wasn't in the classroom."

 

"I think I saw him running away from school when I was on the roof," Yusuke commented. As if on cue, Kuwabara ran up to them all out opf breath.

 

"Guy....s," He panted. "Some....thing....happ...ened....at...the....Hig....ura.....shi.....shri... .ine...."

 

Kagome gasped and stood up. Yusuke and Kurama did too, but slower.

 

"I wanna see a shrine!" Kagome exclaimed softly at the questioning looks she got from Yusuke and Kurama. Kuwabara was too out of breath to notice. "I've never seen one before. Thank Kami-sama that Kagome cold lie great and not make her aura feel guilty.

 

"What happened?" Kurama asked Kuwabara.

 

"I was going over to play wth the cat like I always do," Yusuke snickered. "Shut up, Yusuke! I wlaked up the stairs and.......I don't wanna say..."

 

"Let's go!" Yusuke called as they ran through the streets towards the shrine. Even through Kagome was in a panic on the inside, she kept her pace at a normal girl's pace which was still five or six times faster than Kuwabara. As soon as they got to the steps, Yusuke and Kuwabara groaned. They all took the stairs slowly to gain seom breath. Kurama and Yuske stiffened not noticing that Kagome did also. When they reached the top, Kagome gasped along with Yysuke and Kuwabara. Kurama was just shocked. Who would to this to a shrine?! The house was blown apart along with the well house. The debris was everywhere.

 

"Let's split up," Yusuke sugested. Kagome nodded. Everyone split. up. Kurama was searching the trees, Yusuke searched the well house while Kuwabara loooked for Buyo. Kagome was searching the house since everyone else didn't want to and she told them she wanted to.They all set to work. Kagome searched through the foundation of the house and saw nothing much except for some scrolls. Kagome tossed a big slab of wall a few feet away and gasped. Her hand went to her mouth and she took a few steps back. Yusuke ran over and growled. His 'sister' shouldn't have had to see that. Even for all of the gore he has seen this is the goriest he's ever seen. Kurama and Kuwabara ran over. They gasped. Kagome fell to her knees.

 

There was her family.

 

Dead.

 

Mutilted.

 

Burned.

 

Bloody.

 

Holes everywhere.

 

Every last one of them.

 

Even Buyo.

 

"Sota," Kagome whispered softly, so softly that even the reikai tantei members here couldn't hear it if they didn't strain their ears.

 

"How do you know them?" Kurama asked. Kagome choked a sob and ran away. She did something so unexpected that they were to shocked to stop her. They just stood there, looking at the four mangled bodies. Soon, sirens were heard in the distance getting louder and louder. When the paramedics and the police came the three reikai tantei were questions and interviewed on TV about what happened.

"Finally," Sesshoamru sighed as he finished a mountain, literally, of paperwork. He turned on the TV. "Some relaxation time..."

 

He started watching Three's Cmpany, his favorite show, in his ningen company office in Tokyo. It was a nice office with esquisite furnishings and a fine oak desk to go in the middle with a spinable fluffy chair. Suddenly, Three's Company was interrupted my the news.

 

"We interrupt this show to bring you breaking news right here form the Higurashi Shrine," Sesshaomru sat up strait, eyes wide staring at the TV like it grew another attenae. The TV now showed a picture of the massecred shrine. Seshsoamru was now gone in a flash.

 

The TV kept onshowing scenes of the well house and the house. The debris everywhere. Everything.

 

"Three people were found dead and one cat," The TV showed pictures of the brutally massecred bodies before switching back to the reporter. "The daughter of Mrs. Higurashi," The TV showed a picture of a fourteen year old girl who looked a lot like Kagome appeared on the screen. "Disappeared two years ago when she was fourteen. Here are the three who found the shrine like this. A orange haired boy stepped up slightly from the other two. (Kagome fell down the well at age thriteen and stayed there for a year before training wth Sesshomaru for two years in the present).

 

"I was on my way to play with hte cat, Buyo, like I always do when I stumbled into the mess. I ran strait to my friends and we started searching. Another one of our friends found the bodies, but she ran away after one look at them."

 

"This concludes the report. Have a nice day!"

Tima, Hiro and Miroku looked at each other. No wonder Kagome had come home early from school smelling like death. She locked herself in her room abd put some barrier over it to block out sounds and people. Without a second through, they used their youkai speed to mkae it to her room and were surprised to see the barrier down and Sesshaomru's scent in Kagome's room. A few stiffled cries were heard and soothing words. Shippo was at Elementary School so he didn't know yet and probably wouldn't know.

 

They walked into the room to see Kagome in youkai form with Sesshoamru, who was also in youkai form, cuddled in his large tail. He stroked her hair and said soothing words to her. Miroku sat on the bed behind her and rubbed her back soothingly. Tima and Hiro stood at the sides watching the brothers-sister bond with sad smiles.
