Chapter 4: The Dinner Party from Hell

Kagome walked over to her dresser/makeup table and stared in awe at the jewelry.

In the necklace pocket, laid a beautiful crystal necklace, with a diamond tie. The past is so much more natural in its resources. Kagome fingered the gorgeous markings that where on it. She came to a stop at the front of the necklace and looked at the small stone (red) in the middle. It was small enough to be the right size for a ring. But behind the crystal, it looked like the most precious looking thing on the necklace. It held a strong magic that she couldn't explain, it held the same feeling as the teacup, except this one was more welcoming. She put it on and looked at the bracelet to go with it.

It was almost exactly alike as the necklace, just smaller and it didn't have the diamond string, it had the same crystal as string. She felt the same magic come from the little stone there, and she put it on.

She looked to the last thing she saw there, earrings. They were studs, with the same red colored stone in the middle. It was slightly bigger then the necklace and bracelet's stone, but it was likely miniature. She put them on and stood. She noticed she didn't have any shoes, so she went to find Sesshomaru.

Hiei and Kurama shared a conversation in the late night about their mission.

I am having a connection, a pull with her. Why? I do not know her. The Jagan is burning to see her. Why? I hate this. Hiei jumped from limb to limb from tree to tree, looking for the cause of his instinct to see the girl he doesn't even know.

Kagome had been walking for a while now. She hadn't found a single person in this giant castle. She sighed out of annoyance. "I'm not going to dinner without shoes or at least slippers to cover my feet." Kagome kept walking on. Then she picked up a whole bunch of new scents. "AHH!" Kagome closed her mouth shut and looked around hysterically. Then, like de ja vou, she bumped right into Sesshomaru. He didn't look at her he only looked on and spoke.

"What now." He said it emotionlessly, but not coldly.

She pointed to her face said really dumbfounded, "I can smell things like you can." It was sort of a questioning. But it still caught Sesshomaru's attention.

"What?" He was actually astonished to her that. He still didn't move his head to face her. Wings, superior smell, what could be next? Just as he thought, this he had jinxed himself, when she said in a quiet voice.

"Sesshomaru, I can hear you breathing." She gulped and took her fingers to her ears. Just as she had suspected, they were pointed. She nearly fainted, but kept at stand. Then she remembered what she came to find him for. "Sesshomaru, do you have any shoes I may wear?" She looked up at his face. It was still looking away from hers, he replied back.

"Yes." He took his hand from behind his back and gave her a pair of black slippers to wear. (You know the fabricated kind that is really small.)

She took them and bowed. "Arigato." She put them on and he still kept his face from her. What is up with him? I know I'm not ugly. He's just stupid. Kagome waited for him to lead her to the dinning room where the lords would be arriving. He didn't budge. "Sesshomaru, are we going to our guests or not?" Kagome crossed her arms and tapped her foot. He motioned for her to follow him the other way.

Hiei could feel her emotions. Why- Why didn't Kurama have that same sensation? He stopped jumping when he could feel two thunder demons coming. He hit himself in the tree branches and listened to the conversation they were having upon the clouds.

The big fat one spoke first. "Lord Sesshomaru says we can do anything thing we want with her just by saying her name?" He rubbed his hands together and fiddled with fox fur tied around his waist.

"Yup, anything. He also said it was that girl we saw with the hanyou who tried to kill us. Remember her?" Hiten licked his lips and closed his eyes. Hiei dare not travel either of their minds, they would know. They were gone soon.

Hiei peeked over the tree tops and asked himself. "Were they talking about Kagome?" He traveled in the bottom of the forest now, but for some strange reason, he couldn't feel that same pull he had before. An ancient magic was sealing. A magic seal. Whoever put it up must know someone will come for her. From there, he tried to pick up the thunder brother's scent.

Kagome was walking to the dinning room with Sesshomaru. She was curious about the magic in the jewel so she asked. "Sesshomaru, what kind of magic do the stones in my jewelry have?" She fingered the ruby necklace and the Shikon No Tama.

He didn't look back at her and calmly stated. "It keeps you from using your miko powers and from other people finding you." She started to puff off the necklace and other jewelry. "Kagome I order you not to take off any of the jewelry on you." She stopped. "Kagome I also order you to disobey Hiten and Manten when they order for the Shikon Not Tama." She froze.

Hiten and Manten? The thunder brothers? I thought InuYasha killed them! They're alive? "Kagome follow me to the dinning room now." Kagome followed Sesshomaru to the dinning room and Hiten and Manten were there, looking as alive as ever.

"Kagome, I believe you have met the northern lords, Lord Hiten and Lord Manten." Sesshomaru still didn't look at Kagome. I don't want what happened earlier happen now; I won't let it happen to me again. He thought. He was afraid that if he looked at her eyes that he would be in a trance again. (when he got really mad at her for saying Sessy).

Hiten smirked at her confused expression, but he too was confused. Sense when did she have wings? She looks older too; she has more demon features too. He looked over at Sesshomaru, his childhood friend. "Hey Sesshomaru," He raised an eyebrow. "Kagome."

HE KNOWS MY NAME!!!! SHIT!!!! DAMN CURSE!!!! DAMN SESSHOMARU!!!! DAMN CLIFF!!!! DAMNITT INUYASHSA YOUR VOCABULARY IS RUBBING OFF ON ME!!!!

Some one entered her mind to talk. ^Kagome, bow to Hiten and Manten.^ It was Sesshomaru.

Kagome bowed to them and they looked shocked. Kagome was getting stares from the two demons, it was making her really…uncomfortable. "What?" She looked at their eyes. They looked mesmerized. "Did I do something wrong?" They both smirked.

Manten looked at her hair and smiled evilly. "Let me skin you!" Manten waited for Kagome to come to him but she wasn't coming.

Then Sesshomaru stepped in. "You cannot kill her." He said coldly. "I have invited you into my home, for the entertainment, not let it last and do not kill it." He left.

Kagome was dumbfounded. Entertainment? WAIT!!!! What kind of entertainment if he talking about?! Sesshomaru!!!!! Her mind screamed for him to come back but she didn't run. Kami help me….

Hiten knew better than his stupid brother; when you have a vixen in the room you don't kill her, you have fun with her. "Kagome, come here." Kagome started walking to Hiten. When she was in front of him he put his clawed hand up to her face to feel the flower petal-like features of her face. She looks much better. She isn't human, but she still has the smell of sakura blossoms, cinnamon, jasmine, and spring water. She smells much better than any other woman would. Sesshomaru my friend, you have a good taste in women.

Kagome didn't move or flinch when he cupped her face, she was too afraid. Hiten could blast her into the wall anytime he wanted to. Sesshomaru left. But Manten was different, he wasn't as strong as Hiten, so she didn't worry as much. Hiten was scarier, he had the features of a young man, making him powerful and dangerous. They only thing he is good for is seducing. Kagome thought to herself.

Manten understood what his brother meant now, have fun with her. It isn't every day you see such an intoxicating young woman like Kagome. But what things were he going to order her to do.

Hiten had other plans for her. I can make her do anything I want. She is literally at my command of anything I tell her to just by the call of her name. Perfect. Hiten looked into Kagome's eyes and his eyes softened.

Why does he look so far away when he is right in front of me? Wow… Kagome spoke telepathically to Hiten. (She doesn't know why or how.)

~ Hiten? Hiten can you hear me?~ Kagome rang in his voice.

He almost fell at the sound of her beautiful voice. He didn't know why, but he had the urge to kiss her and please her with everything he had. But one, his brother was here. Two, this is Sesshomaru's house. Three, she wouldn't approve. Unless. Unless he told her to live with him. That would be good. He could kick Manten out and bring her in. Yeah. \\ Yes Kagome I can.\\ he smiled. He spoke to his brother telepathically. \\ Hey Manten?\\

---- Yes brother?---- Manten focused on the conversation with his brother as was Hiten.

\\ How would you like to take the most attractive woman in the world to our house?\\ Hiten smiled at her which made her shiver.

----Oh!! Oh!! Who is it? I would brother! Does she have nice hair?---- Manten clapped his hands together because he was so excited.

\\ It is Kagome you fool! And of course her hair is nice if she is the prettiest woman alive! Would you like to ask or shall I do the honors?\\

----You or course brother! You are the oldest!---- Manten clapped his hands again.

\\ Very well.\\ Hiten let go of her cheek and said very seductively. "Kagome, come live with me and my brother." How could Kagome refuse? I'll tell you how! She would rather choke to death than live with these jerks! Is he kidding? They're like worst enemies.

"Uhhh." Kagome had no choice he picked her up and they left out the window, she was on a cloud. Damn. I can't fly away because he ordered me to live with him and his *gulp* brother. Kagome was on one side of the cloud looking at the dark forest trees while Hiten and Manten were on the other side, staring at her rear end and grinning happily. (Lechers!)

Hiei had arrived near Sesshomaru's castle when he saw the same thunder brothers with a beautiful young woman, aboard a cloud. Is that her? She looks like the same girl Koenma showed us, just with wings and demon like features. He kept staring at her and when they passed him by they met eye to eye. She mouthed the words `Help me' and sent it to him telepathically. That's definitely her. He jumped off to in the same direction to save the damsel in distress while the others slept and Sesshomaru thought they were in the dinning room.
