Hi everyone!!! I had a ton of inspiration of this fanfiction, I think I have even though of an ending….don't worry that's a long way off but I'm still glad I thought of it. I am trying my hardest to update faster but its harder with all my work but I will always try. Thank Nyuka, Brightshadow4494, and Mrs. Kurama for reviewing, you guys are the best. ***In the Dungeon***

 

The dungeon door opened and a woman walked through. She was wearing a blue robe and wielding a silver staff with a white globe on top, Her hair was short and blond and her eyes seemed like a dull blue. She smiled as he looked at the prisoners.

 

“I don't know how you escaped. And I don't care, the penalty for going against us is death.” The end of her staff began to glow.

 

All the ones that were out of the cage got into fighting positions.

 

“Hey, someone let us out!!!” InuYasha said angrily.

 

The girl with the silver staff focused on one target, Sango. Her staff let out a long beam of light towered Sango.

 

Sango dodged the attack just in time so the blast hit some bars that were right behind her, the bars turned to ice. Sango paled a little, `good thing I didn't become a Sango-cicle'

 

“Be careful, it appears she can freeze anything with her staff” Kurama yelled out to anyone who didn't already know that.

 

“Well no dah, fox boy” InuYasha said angrily from inside the prison he was still trapped in.

 

“I can do more then that,” The blond sorceress said as her staff glowed again. This time instead of shooting out a beam of ice she sent out razor sharp icicles.

 

The first icicle went strait for Kagome, she dodged most of it but it cut her in the arm slightly. She ignored it and sent a blast of purifying energy at her.

 

The purifying energy hit her but didn't really seem to affect her. “Silly girl, you think your purifying energy would work on a human sorceress?” She chuckled and through some more icicles at her.

 

Kurama transformed into Yoko and attacked the blond sorceress.

 

The sorceress sent a few icicles at him but he dodged them all. He got in close and punched the sorceress so hard she was thrown into a wall.

 

The sorceress got up and looked at Yoko with a bored expression, “Nice try…my turn.”

 

Her staff once again glowed bright, Yoko braced himself for the attack, but it didn't even get near him. Instead the sorceress aimed her attack at a little fox demon that was shivering in the back of the room.

 

Kurama saw the attack and ran to help Shippo…but he was too late. The blast hit Shippo and where the cute little furball once sat there was a frozen ice sculpture of the little fox.

 

Kirara looked at his little pal. He walked over to Shippo and nudged his face in a way he usually did to wake Shippo up. It didn't work. Kirara mewed at Shippo but nothing happened. Then the little fire cat changed into his big self and attacked the sorceress.

 

“Kirara no!” Sango yelled but she was too late, the fire cat was on top of the sorceress. Kirara took one bite of the sorceress arm when there was a flash of bright light and Kirara fell back, she too was now a statue of solid ice.

 

Sango ran over to see if she could help her little kitten.

 

An arrow came flying from Kagome's bow and hit the sorceress in the leg. “That was for my kit!” Kagome yelled in anger.

 

The sorceress lazily pulled out the arrow and through it on the ground. “My skin is as tough as ice, did you really think that would even scratch me?”

 

Kurama as Yoko decided to try again, he kicked the sorceress hard in the stomach and it didn't really do much except make her angrier.

 

Hiei jumped in and punched her too; yet again the sorceress seemed to be mocking him because it didn't do anything at all to her.

 

“You all are idiots.” Sesshomaru said from within the cage. “Its obvious that physical attacks don't work on her.”

 

Kurama thought about this for a second. “Hiei, use fire attacks”

 

Hiei smiled an evil smile, “Hn.” Then he punched the sorceress again, this time with fire punches.

 

The reaction was different this time, but not by much. The sorceress seemed to feel the punches and they seemed to hurt but it didn't do half as much damage as they should have.

 

Sango stared at her angrily then she looked down and looked at her scaled hand. She was so angry with the sorceress for what she had done to Kirara. She felt the anger in her rising. Then without really realizing it her hands lit on fire. She looked down and screamed.

 

“My HANDS ARE ON FIRE!!!” Sango yelled as she looked around for how to put them out.

 

Hiei looked at her and rolled his eyes, “You're a fire demon idiot.”

 

Sango stopped for a second and realized he was right. “Oh…yeah.” Then she went after the sorceress too.

 

“You can't beat me no matter how many of you have fire.” She said evilly. Her staff began to glow again and a spree of icicles sprayed out towered all of the fighters.

 

 

***With Yusuke***

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o.”

 

Botan had been singing this song for the last four hours that they had been traveling. And she never stopped.

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o.”

 

Yusuke was grumbling because they had been looking for Kuwabara for four hours and hadn't gotten anywhere and he was getting really hungry….not to mention really annoyed.

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o.”

 

“Come on old hag, let's take a break already.” Yusuke yelled at Genkai who was the one leading the way.

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o.”

 

Yusuke shuddered, he hated the Bingo song.

 

“No dimwit, you're not stopping to eat or rest until we find the idiot.” Genkai yelled back over Botan's yells.

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o.”

 

Yusuke cringed hearing the song again. `I'm going to kill Botan if she sings that song one more time'

 

Botan paused her song for the first time. “I agree with Yusuke, we should rest and get our strength so we have more energy to find Kuwabara.”

 

“Well, no one asked you bingo girl.” Genkai yelled back.

 

“No need to be so rude about it…and I don't say bingo that often!” Botan yelled back.

 

They walked in beautiful silence for a few minuets until Botan got really bored, so she decided to entertain herself.

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and Bingo was his name-o.”

 

“THAT'S IT!!!!” With that Yusuke tackled Botan off of her ore and on to the ground.

 

Yusuke had cracked, he began to strangle Botan. “If you ever….and I mean ever sing that song again I will rip out you tongue”

 

Genkai quickly got Yusuke off Botan.

 

“Fine Yusuke, all you had to do was ask and I would have stopped.” Botan said angrily.

 

“Fine, STOP SINGING!!!” Botan pouted but did what she was told.

 

Yusuke smiled at himself, `yay, I like silence.'

 

They walked for a few minuets in silence then…

 

“There was a farmer that had a dog and Bingo was his name-o, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O, B-I-N-G-O and….”

 

“DIE!!!” It took Genkai thirty minuets to stop Yusuke from trying to kill and or rip out Botan's tongue.

 

 

***Back in the Dungeon***

 

There were so many icicles that it would be almost impossible to dodge them all. Sango got hit in the side, Kagome got a cut across her leg and Hiei got one stuck in his arm.

 

“Hah, you thought you were tough, that's a laugh.” The sorceress said evilly.

 

Kurama was the only one who wasn't harmed, he went over to the bars that had been frozen solid and broke off a piece of the bar. He then threw the piece as hard as he could at the sorceress head. The hit actually was hard enough to knock her back, she appeared to be dizzy. Then Sango, Hiei, and Kagome all attacked and punched at the same time, in the same spot.

 

They all hit the sorceress on her head and the sorceress fell back and appeared to be knocked out.

 

They smiled at their victory but it didn't last long, the sorceress came up again and yet again appeared to be just fine.

 

“Now you've really pis*ed me off.” The sorceress then raised her staff and it glowed brighter then ever, she made one huge attack that they wouldn't be able to dodge, they were done for.

 

“Now Die” The attack blasted out of the Staff but didn't hit them. Instead the attack swirled around and froze the sorceress solid.

 

“What the hell?” InuYasha yelled from inside the cage.

 

“What just happened?” Kagome asked. “Why did she attack herself?”

 

“She didn't…I did” Paerto appeared from behind the frozen sorceress.

 

“Its You?” Hiei said as he ran to attack Paerto.

 

“Wait, Hiei what are you doing? He's good guy!!!” Kagome yelled at Hiei.

 

“You are quite wrong Kagome, he is the enemy just like the frozen one.” Kurama said as he stepped protectively in front of Kagome.

 

Hiei went to attack Paerto but Sango jumped in front of him and punched him away.

 

“Listen moron, he helped us!” Sango said angrily.

 

“I promise I'm not going to harm you.” Paerto said.

 

“Prove it.” Hiei said while glaring at Sango for punching him.

 

“He was the one who turned us into demons!” Kagome said. “And got us through the barrier.”

 

Kurama looked at her carefully, “Kagome, he is one of the three sorcerers that killed the Wise demons and trapped us all here. He was probably just trying to trap you too.”

 

“That doesn't make sense…” Kagome said confused.

 

“Allow me to explain miko.” Paerto said. He looked over at the other frozen sorcerer as if to make sure she was actually frozen.

 

“All you say is true, I am one of the sorcerers that killed the Wise demons, but I wish to help you too.”

 

Then Paerto walked over to Shippo and lightly touched him. Shippo de-froze and woke up coughing. Then Paerto did the same thing to Kirara who mewed as she unfroze. As a final act of peace Paerto pulled out a set of keys and unlocked InuYasha, Koga, and Sesshomaru.

 

Shippo looked around a little shocked, then ran up to Kagome and nestled up in her warm arms. After all, he was very cold after being frozen.

 

Kirara did the same with Sango; she jumped into her arms and mewed softly.

 

“Fine, well listen to what you have to say.” Hiei said cautiously.

 

“I'll start from the beginning….” Paerto took a breath then started. “About two weeks ago we found out that the powerful Naraku was dead. I realize now that you are the ones we have to thank for that. When we realized that, we knew it was the first step in the prophecy.”

 

“Prophecy, what Prophecy?” Kurama asked.

 

“It's a prophecy that says that when the dark one, Naraku, is defeated the world will become unbalanced and the sorcerers will come to power or the world will be tossed in utter turmoil. I don't know how much I believe in this prophecy but Iferno, the leading sorcerer believed everything.”

 

“Is this Iferno?” Kagome asked pointing at the frozen sorceress.

 

“No, that's Icina, she is my sister and serves Iferno” Paerto said somewhat sadly as he looked at his frozen sister.

 

“Anyway, we knew we weren't the only ones who knew of this prophecy, we knew the Wise Demons would also know about it.” Paerto continued.

 

“Who are the Wise Demons?” Kagome asked.

 

“The wise demons are the rulers of demons, they stand for hope and are much respected; well they are in this point in time, not the future.” Kurama answered.

 

“We knew that the Wise Demons would hold a gathering, whenever they have huge news they gather all the demons together in a calling. All the demons were summoned to this place. When all the demons were gathered we decided it was our turn to strike, we put all our energy together and formed a huge barrier that kept all the demons in. Inferno knew that if he trapped and later killed all the demons it would be easy for the sorcerers to rule the world.” Paerto was interrupted by a growl from InuYasha.

 

“You couldn't stop all the demons.” InuYasha said angrily.

 

“We are very close.” Paerto looked down sadly. “I couldn't go along with the plan, after they killed the Wise Demons I wanted out. I didn't want to have all those demons blood on my hands. Obviously they didn't let me leave, they wanted me to gather any opposition that wasn't demon and turn them into demons. That is how I ran into you.” He nodded towered Kagome and Sango.

 

“At first I was just going to transform you into demons and let you be trapped like all the others but then I realized who you were. Naraku had captured me to turn that one dead girl made out of clay into a real human, I hate Naraku. When I found out you were the ones that killed him I felt horrible tricking you. That is why I put that spell on you at the end. That spell makes it so you can't be controlled like the other demons. You see whenever I change someone into a demon and they enter the barrier, they get under Inferno's control. That's what happened to your friends, they went strait to Inferno's torture rooms.” Paerto looked away as if sick.

 

“I just want to undo some of the damage I have caused, I don't want to live with the guilt and the death.” Paerto looked at Kagome and his eyes looked like they were full of mourning and sadness.

 

Hiei on the other hand was not as trusting. “How do we know everything you just said isn't a lie?”

 

“Why would I help you if I was lying?” Paerto asked annoyed that they still didn't trust him after he had told them so much.

 

“I trust him.” Kagome said strongly.

 

Sango looked at Paerto, she didn't really trust him but she didn't think he was lying.

 

“Lets just say that we do trust you…what do we do now?” Kurama asked.

 

“I can show you the way out…or, I could show you where your friends are.” Paerto said.

 

“Take us to our friends.” Kagome said certainly. “Does anyone have any objections?” She asked daring anyone to object.

 

“Kagome, we can't blindly trust someone.” InuYasha said.

 

“Do you have any other ideas?” Kagome asked. “Does anyone have a better idea?”

 

No one could really think of one, but half the people didn't trust him.

 

“I don't care what you weaklings are doing, I'm leaving.” Sesshomaru said as he turned to go the other way.

 

“Wait Sesshomaru!” Kagome said quickly. “They have Rin.”

 

Sesshomaru paused, “Impossible, Rin is human.”

 

“Not anymore she's not.” Sango said chuckling a little.

 

Sesshomaru stopped, turned around and ran with demon speed up to Sango. He grabbed her neck and pushed her up against a wall choking her. “What happened to Rin?”

 

Sango dropped Kirara and tried to pull Sesshomaru off but wasn't strong enough. Kirara jumped at Sesshomaru but it didn't do anything. Sesshoumaru's claws began to dig in and a little blood trickled down from Sango's neck. She couldn't breath and was getting dizzy.

 

Suddenly Hiei punched Sesshomaru so hard he went flying into a wall. Sango fell down taking deep breaths and Hiei stepped protectively in between her and Sesshomaru.

 

Sesshomaru almost went in for another attack but Kagome spoke up.

 

“Sesshomaru stop! We saved Rin. If it weren't for us she could be dead right now.”

 

“I'm listening.” Sesshomaru said.

 

Kagome explained everything from the bandits to finding Rin and then everyone's transformations into demons.

 

While Kagome was telling her story Hiei glared at Sesshomaru and went over to Sango who was still breathing deeply. There was a steady trail of blood coming down from where his claws had cut. Hiei bent down and looked at her wound.

 

“I'm fine.” Sango said as she tried to get up. Hiei pushed her back down.

 

“Let me see it, it could be poisoned.” Sango reluctantly showed him her neck.

 

Hiei looked carefully at the cuts, then he growled. “There is a poison residue in one of the holes.”

 

Sango looked around for something to get rid of demon poison, she couldn't find anything and so she was a little worried.

 

“I can't get it out.” She knew something like that could severely weaken her or maybe even kill her.

 

“Hold still” Hiei said. He then bent her head to the side and sucked out the poison from the hole in her neck.

 

Sango was at a loss for words again, `wow…that feels kind of nice.'

 

When Hiei was done he spit out the poison and looked at Sango. “There wimp, the poison's out.”

 

Sango smiled and put her hand on his cheek. She then pulled his face closer to hers and kissed his lips.

 

`Not a bad deal for removing a little poison.' Hiei chuckled to himself.

 

“Thanks midget.” Sango smiled and Hiei rolled his eyes at her but didn't say anything.

 

“So Kikyo's there too!” InuYasha piped up to Kagome's story.

 

Kagome looked annoyed, “Yes InuYasha, and she choose to be a dog demon, that should make you happy.” Kagome said it with a little bitterness in her voice.

 

“So have you decided to look for your friends?” Asked Paerto who clearly didn't want to waste time.

 

“Yes, we should get them as soon as possible.” Kurama said.

 

“Speak for yourself!” Koga said annoyed, “I won't have anything to do with it, just point me to the way out!”

 

“Good you mangy wolf, we didn't need you anyway.” InuYasha said happily, he hated Koga and didn't want to travel with him.

 

Kagome knew they would run into trouble later and it would probably pay to have the wolf demon around. “Koga, we could probably use the help. I mean, this sorceress was hard enough just imagine what we could run into later.”

 

Kurama and InuYasha both looked like they could attack Kagome for inviting the wolf to stay.

 

“Fine I'll stay and protect you my love. I know that you don't feel safe with this dog or this fox as your protectors. I won't let you get hurt.” Koga grabbed her hands in his. “You can tell them that you don't need them anymore and I will take care of you…my woman.”

 

Kurama was to say the least, extremely annoye. He almost stepped in to remove the wolf's hands but then Kagome said something.

 

“Koga, I only want you to come to help us to stop these people. I, well, I'm with Kurama now. I only want to be your friend.” Kagome hopped that the wolf would understand.

 

Koga thought for a second then replied. “I'll always be your friend Kagome. I'll watch out for you until you get in your right mind and dump this freak. But until then I will help you and just be your friend.”

 

With that the wolf walked to the other side of the dungeon.

 

Kurama was glaring at him. He rarely got mad and usually was always calm but it was hard to when a guy talked about steeling you girlfriend right in front of your own eyes.

 

Kagome saw how uncomfortable Kurama looked, she walked over to him. “Don't worry about him Kurama.”

 

“I'm not worried Kagome, I just wish that he would leave you alone.” Kurama said truthfully.

 

“Oh, You don't have to worry about that Kurama.” Kagome they gave him a deep kiss on the lips. “I'm all yours.”

 

Kurama smiled and kissed her back. “I know. And I'm yours.”

 

Then Shippo popped up between there kiss. “And I'm both of yours”

 

Kagome and Kurama chuckled at the little fox.

 

“We really should get going.” Paerto said looking around and the huge group of demons.

 

“First we will need our weapons.” Hiei said directly to Paerto.

 

“Your weapons are in the same place where your friends are, through this door and down the hallway.” Paerto said calmly.

 

Paerto turned and they all began to make their way out the door. They all left the dungeon; Sango was the last one out. Sango quietly shut the door behind her leaving the room empty except the frozen sorceress in the middle of the room.

 

As soon as the group's footsteps couldn't be heard anymore the statue began to move. The ice cracked and melted.

 

“That was very foolish brother.” Icina said annoyed. “Now you are the enemy and must be dealt with like one, we'll see how forgiving Inferno is to betrayers.”

 

Icina wiped some of the ice off her robe. “Time to report back to Inferno and tell him all I've heard.” She looked around the room. “First I'll send a group of guards to block them in the torture chambers, then I will deal with them personally.”

 

The sorceress turned and disappeared in a puff of smoke.
