Chapter one - The Phone Call

A.P.O.V with random thoughts

 

 

Yusuke and the guys were walking through the park after they came back from a diplomatic mission when his mobile rang, it was the song `Story of a Girl', without checking the I.D he flipped it open to the shock of his friends. Not even Keiko had a customary ring tone.

 

“How's my favourite bitch?” he answered smiling, they could hear her laughing reply.

 

“Good, good, how's my favourite bastard?” they gaped at Yusuke as he laughed.

 

“Yeah you know, my mum's a alcoholic and a whore so hey what's not fantastic?” they were staring at him now, since when did Yusuke talk about his mother?

 

“Yeah well you can't pick your parents can you? Mine informed me a week ago that me being at home was too dangerous for them so she gave me a deposit for apartment. So me and my friend could move out. So anyway I called cause we just finished moving into our new apartment realised that since I have two other spare rooms that you might want to move in with us, you don't have to but -.” She was cut of by Yusuke yelling.

 

“Hell fucking yes!!! Did you even have to ask?! Hey I got a friend that needs a place too, can he have the other room?” Kurama stared Yusuke really cared this much about him to ask whoever the girl was for a place for him? Wow, he didn't know how good a friend Yusuke was until now, yeah the boy had given him a place to stay when his mother had kicked him out when he finally told her that he shared his body with Youko but this was something else, this girl was obviously special to him and he was trusting Kurama with a lot. This said that Yusuke trusted him with more than his life.

 

“Sure, if you trust him and he can help with the rent then cool, whatever. You need a lift to get over here?” he nodded into the phone but realised she couldn't see him and spoke.

 

“Yeah that'd be good, you got room in your car for all our stuff? He's living with me now,”

 

“Both Sango and I will bring our cars, that should give us enough room. Oh yeah, we have another room available if another of your friends needs it, it's smaller, I was going to use it as a computer room, but I'll just set my computer up in my room.” Yusuke looked at Kuwabara who nodded happily, he was finally getting out of the small apartment he shared with his sister!

 

“Yeah, that'd be cool. When can you get us? We'll be at my place in fifteen minutes or about that anyway.”

 

“We'll be there by then.”

 

“Sweet. Oh just one more thing,” he smirked into the phone. “Don't attack.” There was silence on the other end of the phone before…

 

“Fuck! How bad am I going to want to attack?” Why was she going to attack them? Did she hate guys in general?

 

“Oh I'd say pretty bad… two not including me.”

 

“You are so dead you fucker…I won't attack if they don't… Sango however is still cursing so I'll try to get her to promise. I make no guarantees…”

 

“Is that the Sango you were telling me about? The one from your - travels?” They exchanged looks, what wasn't Yusuke saying? What travels?

 

“Yeah. You even think about cracking onto her and I give her free rain to kill you!” Ok they were strong enough to beat Yusuke up, that was interesting in itself.

 

“Yeah, yeah. Your friend is off limits, I get it. See ya soon, love ya Kaggie.”

 

“Yeah whatever, love you too Yusuke, and don't call me Kaggie!” she hung up. The boys had their mouths open.

 

“What dudes?” he asked slightly concerned that Hiei and Kurama were openly gaping at him, Kuwabara he could understand but the two cool calm and collected demons? It just didn't happen!

 

“Yusuke, did you just tell someone that you love them while we were here? Are you sick?” Kurama asked worriedly. “And what was that about not attacking us?” Yusuke laughed at his tone.

 

“Yes I did say I loved her, she's my cousin, and as for the attacking thing, well you'll see. Lets just say being different runs in the family,” he chuckled.

 

Kurama and Hiei exchanged another look, why did that suddenly sound disturbing, Yusuke was `different' in so many different ways. What was his cousin like?
