well...kinda strange writing fanfiction for a differnt site. Fanfiction.net got on my nerves with all their stupid rules so i decided...why not come here and here i am so yea...enjoy

A raven haired girl laid in the middle of a field with a male companion by her side. They watched the clouds float around the blue sky and covered their eyes when the clouds unblocked the bright sun. It hadn't always been this peaceful... I take you back fifteen years to when it all begain....

" Inuyasha! You heard what the three men said. If I don't go back to my own time then this time will be ruined forever."
" No it wont...this is some trick by that bastered Naraku to get rid of my shard detector show he can gather all the jewel shards before us. Kagome your so fuckin' blind" Kagome glared at Inuyasha with gry cold eyes. She didnt hurt anymore when he called her his "shard detector" but she did get pissed off because she had a name.
" Inuyasha...sit" Kagome said calmly and started off toward the well humming to herself. She was kinda happy shed get to go back to her own time for a while. It would give her some time to make up all her school work and actually start her own life instead of living Inuyasha's.
" Kagome!" A orange ball of fluff ran straight into her arms.
" Shippou whats wrong?" Kagome asked as she saw the small kistune was crying.
" Why do you have to go?" Shippou said sniffling and wiping away his tears.
" Because its the orders of Midriko Shippou...dont worry Ill be back. When I get back tell me if Inuyasha gave you any trouble and Ill sit him as many times as you want me to" Kagome with with a bright smile. Shippous face brightened and he jumped down and began skipping around Kagome. Kagome looked up and saw Inuyasha standing on the other side of the clearing by the well. Kagome stiffened and began to walk toward the well...not him. Never him.
" Kagome....how long will you be gone...?" Inuyasha asked in a small voice.
" As long as it takes...goodbye Inuyasha." With that Kagome jumped into the well without looking back.
**************************about 3 years later**********************************************
" MOM!! Its the first day of school I cant be late!" Kagome yelled as she hurridly pulled her shoes on.
" OK ok calm down im ready to go." Kagomes mother said...in an all too cherry tone. ( No offense but Kagomes mom is way to understanding about this " Time travling well thing. If that was my mom shed freak out and yell and scream but of course not everyones mom is as kool as Kagomes...ok on with the fic)
The two got into the car and drove towards Kagomes school. Kagome had just gotten out of Jr. High and was about to start a new Highschool. She was excited and nervous at the same time because all her other friends had gone to different schools and she was on her own. As her mom pulled the car to a hault she grabbed her book bag and opened the car door. She said goodbye to her mom and started up the stairs to the front door of the school.
When she walked it in it was like another world. Students lined the hall, talking at lockers and some started at her somehow knowing she was new to the school. One boy seemed to look at her a little longer than the others. He had long red hair and a very calm look to him. She ignored it and kept on her way to the main office. She stood outside the door and opened it letting the cool A.C hit her face. She walked up to the woman at the desk who was busy tapping away at her computer.
" Excuse me? Im Kagome Higurashi. Im here to get my schedule." The woman looked up and studied her. Then nodded her head and rolled her chair to the stack of papers behind her. She then came back with a square piece of paper and handed it to Kagome.
" Thank you" Kagome said silently as she looked over the paper.
" Your very welcome" The woman said and went back to typing. Then a couple minutes later the woman turned from the computer to look at Kagome.
" Excuse me, young lady?"
" Yes?" Kagome responded lifting her head from her schedule.
" Do you know your way to your classes?" The secretary asked. Kagome blushed and responded.
" No...cant say that I do" Kagome said smiling sheepishly.
" Ok then Ill get one of the students with the same scedule to come help you then. One second.
" Ok, thank you very much."
" Hello....Mr. Iwigasha (strange name i kno dont say anything...) can you please send Suichi Minimono to the main office?...Thank you"
" Once again thank you" Kagome said before she sat silently looking over her scedule once more. 10 minutes must have went by until a red haired boy came into the main office and said hed been called there.
" Yes we have a new student here and I would like it if you showed her to her classes" The secretary said in a polite voice.
" Oh ok, no problem" The red head then turned to Kagome and smiled. Kagome game a small smile but soon shifted her eyes somewhere else. They walked out of the office and start slowliy down the hall. " So...do you have a name?"
" Uh...yea its Kagome"
" Cool...mines Kurama" he said smiling
" But I thought the lady in the office called you Suichi?" Kagome said looking at him with a puzzled expression.
" Thats my realy name...Kurama is the name I go by here." Kurama explained. Kagomes lips made a silent "Oh" and she kept stareing straight ahead. " So what brings you to this school?" Kurama asked.
"....Im just starting highschool and I wanted to go here...." Kagome said quietly.
" Oh...why this one why not another one?" Kurama asked trying to start a conversation.
" I dunno I just did...is there something wrong with me coming here or somethin?" Kagome asked getting a little pissed off.
" No, no not at all I was just wondering, you know..." Kurama said and kept his mouth shut until they got back to the classroom. As soon as they walked into the classroom everyone went silent. All eyes were on Kagome as she walked to the front of the room beside the teacher.
" You must be Kagome...am I correct?" The teacher asked in an overly cheery tone (isnt everyone in this story so happy?)
" Yes" Kagome said quietly looking down at her feet.
" Thank you Kurama you may sit down now" Kurama did as he was told and opened his text book to the correct page. " Class this is Kagome Higurashi" The class gave an asortment of "Hi" "Yo's and "whatevers" most of them in grumbles. The teacher all the while glared at them. " Please take the seat behind Kurama Ms. Kagome" Kagome nodded and passed by Kurama to the seat behind him. He turned around and helped her find the right page and soon...class began.

The bell had finally rang for the students to go home and Kagome couldnt have been happier. She slowly walked down the steps and caught site of Kurama with a group of boys. A short guy whose hair defied gravity, a tall ugly one with orange hair, and one with black slicked back hair who looked like he could beat some sense into you. Kagome shurgged and continued her way home. Her mom told her to walk today since she wouldnt be able to get out here until 6 and school or out at 3 and there was no way in hell Kagome was going to stay that long.
" Kagome, come here for a sec." someone yelled behind her. She turned around to see Kurama waving at her and the group of boys he was with walking away from where he was standing. Kagome turned around and headed toward him. She would never admit it to anyone but herself but she had a small crush on the redhead even though she didnt act like it.
" Hi....what do you need?" Kagome said looking him in the eyes which was kinda hard since they were so intense.
" Uh...um...er I was just wondering if youd like to go out with me sometimes...maybe Saturday?" Kurama said shyly and swtiched his gaze from her to the ground blushing his head off. Kagomes eyes widended but returned to their normal size.
" Sure...I'd love to." Kagome replied and to her own surprise leaned over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Kurama watched her leave with wide eyes and moved his hand to the spot where her lips had touched his skin.
Little did they know that this was the start of more than just a relationship....
