Chapter 1. " Bad Inu Yasha...tsk, tsk, tsk..."


" Sooooo.........what now?.." Yusuke asked staring at the completed jewel, " Umm...."
"We should leave damn it. I can't stand it here." Hiei suggested.
"Ok. but.....what about the....umm....the.....thing...what's it called?" Yusuke looked at Kagome.
"Shikon no tama."
"Fancy..." he commented.
"I believe it's better if we keep it in the spirit world.." Kurama said, "the risk is too dangerous keeping it in the feudal era."
"Umm...sure..okay." Yusuke scratched his head.
"What?...take it back to your time?" Inu Yasha repeated, "you can't take it back, it belongs here."
"Oh sure, let demon such as yourself take the jewel when it lays unguarded in a shrine." the sarcastic Hiei blurted.
"The jewel was made in the past and it's gonna stay in the past got it?" Inu Yasha retorted.
"Yeah, ok I get that part dog boy but it's not safe leaving it here with YOU, in the 'past'.." the detective quoted.
"What's that supposed to mean?! I might be a hanyou but I'm much stronger than you!"
"HAh!...don't kid yourself"
"Which reminds me.." Inu Yasha took out Tetsuisaga while it was transforming, "we never did finish the fight we had did we?" he smirked, "your done 'helping' us, you can leave anytime you want now."
"Inu Yasha!!" Kagome yelled, " come on! stop it!" she held the jewel closed in her palm.
"Feh! Why!? they're done with what they needed to do here! they should leave now!"
"You think I don't want to?! look, just give us the jewel, and we'll go as you asked." Hiei did his fighting stance.
"Please, we don't want any violence." Kurama tried to calm them.
"Kurama, don't get involved with this situation if you don't want to, if you wanna, then your gonna have to fight." Yusuke stated.
"Yusuke, we can't force them to give us the jewel."
"Tch...watch me."

"Umm.......what happened?" George asked.
"I...don't know." Koenma wipped the sweat off his forehead, "it's not supposed to be like this! I think the correct choice is if they give us the jewel so it would reduce the chance of it getting stolen, but they don't agree..."
"Intresting..." Mukuro cupped her chin.
"Indeed. I agree with Koenma" Yomi closed his eyes.
"I don't know.....I'm not sure that keeping it in spirit world would be safe either..." Raizen protested silently, Koenma was about to speak but raizen spoke first, "If Hiei and Kurama could steal the three artifacts, even when they were still not as strong as they are now...who knows what kind of demons would be after the Shikon jewel..."
"Hmh, good point." Koenma leaned back, "What should-"
He was interuppted by a popping noise.

"What is that noise?!" he yelled.
"Hm?"George wondered, and turned to look back at Koenma.
"Orge!! this is no time for more popcorn!!!" He bonked George on the head and grabbed the popcorn bag from his hand, "you can't have this back when all this is settled!"
"B-but sir!...oOo..." he rubbed his head.
"Shh! they're starting." Mukuro hushed.

"I wanted to pound you ever since is saw your ugly human face.." Inu Yasha cracked his knuckles.
"Speak for yourself..." Yusuke grinned, doing the same thing.
"You can try.."
"Stop this!" Sango shouted, "this isn't worth fighting for!"
Miroku put his hand on her shoulder, "No Sango...no matter what you say they'll never stand to listen..."
"The two of them, really...they both need to swallow their pride!" Shippou said.
"Inu Yasha your such a fool..." Kagome whispered, "there's not point in fighting anymore..." she summed up the courage and screamed for them both to stop just right when there was gonna be an impact, "STOP IT!!"
"Huh? stay outta this Kagome! this has nothing to do with you!"
"The mutt is actually right! go home Kagome! leave this place before you get hurt." Yusuke suggested.
"NO! you don't get it! why are you fighting?! WHY?! for pride? for pleasure?! What?! tell me!"
"I'm sorry but this kid has been gett'n on my nerves for the last time!!"
"You too grandpa!!" Yusuke yelled.
"Ever learned how to respect your elders?!"
"No." Yusuke smiled.
"You're more messed up than I thought."
"Oh god! would you just listen to me?!" Kagome held her head in frustration, "Stop fighting Inu Yasha!"
"Would ya shut up and back off?!!!" he screamed.
She gasped and bit her lip, the fire of anger rose inside her, "F-FINE!! Be that way!! If your not gonna listen to me listen to yourself! look at the way your acting! I can't stand you and your stubborn acts! I can't stand you Inu Yasha!" she fled off into the forest.
"Wait! KAgome! I didn't mean it that way!" he yelled after her.
"Man....that was deep..." Yusuke crossed his arms, "you hit her hard that time..." he frowned.
But Inu Yasha ignored his ex-companion, and ran after Kagome, "Kagome wait!! I really didn't mean it! come on!" he ran through the forest and crashed into a wall, an invisible wall, one that stings, "Ah shit! not again!" he looked up and yes, it was yet another barrier, this time created by Kagome, "Ooo Kagome!!" he saw her on the other side sitting on a rock turned away from him, he couldn't tell, was she ignoring him, or she couldn't hear him, "Come on Kagome! you know me! I say things I don't mean!! I-I....I'm sorry?" he lowered his voice. She still ignored him...or..couldn't hear him...
"O gods!I appologized!! what more do you want from me?! my blood?!"

"Inu Yasha no baka. who does he think he is? It's like everything has to revolve around him!"she crossed her arms, on the other side of the barrier, we see Inu Yasha in the backround moving his lips but nothing came out, he also pounded on the wall and got thrown back. With a rub on his head he quickly recovered and resumed his position with the pounding and mute yelling.
"He really should learn some respect!" Once again we see Inu Yasha getting thrown back, this time he popped a vein and started pacing around, "Like I said, you can never teach an old dog new tricks..(sigh)..." she closed her eyes and began to rest, "You know what. I need a break, I know! I'll take a long walk...I'm pretty sure my new powers will protect me now! so I guess it's pretty safe!" Kagome giggled, and so she got up cheerfuly and started walking on the path.

"NO!! Kagome!!! don't leave!! come back!" Inu Yasha yelled.
"You must have gotten really close ever since the jewel was completed." Kurama teased.
"Geez...he's never been this upset when she leaves us for a while..." Shippou thought.

"nugh........I feel so bored." Kagome complained, "There's nothing to do here, and why am I still thinking about Inu Yasha?"
Suddenly, she heard a laughter of a child, Kagome was amazed, why would a child be here in the demon world? and so knowing Kagome she went to check it out. She was a little, about the age of eight or so. She was chasing a flying creauture related to a dragonfly, she ran and ran until she caught it in her hands, and then look up at Kagome who was in front of her.

"Why aren't you the cutest thing ever!!" Kagome squealed.
"Umm...." she mumbled.
"Aww...where'd you come from?...where's your mommy and daddy?"
"Umm...."
"No need to be shy!"
"Umm..........ouch!" she opened her hands and the 'dragonfly' escaped, "Owww....." she wriggled her hand.
"Oh! what happened are you alright?"
"Mmm..." she cried.
Kagome examined the little girl's hand, "Ouch...that looks like a nasty bite.." The girl's hand was brusied and purple, yes, she was poisioned(damn you bug!), "really, you shouldn't play with things you don't know about, trust me...I know.."
The girl nodded her head and sniffed. Then, a shadow darkens both Kagome and the girl, Kagome look up to see...."....S..s...s.....s...s....s...s...s...s...s...s...s....." Kagome hesitated.
"My name isn't that hard to pronouce is it?" he said.
"Sesshomaru!" Kagome sqwaked.
"Finally, and after twelve tries.."
"You counted?"
"..."
"Sesshomaru-sama!!" the girl hugged his knees.
"Ah! get away from him! are you crazy!?" Kagome pulled the girl away from him.
"Rin, come, we must leave now." He turned around.
"Ah!"
He turned back to see Rin kneeling on the ground holding he palm, (no, i didn't forget about the poision).
"What is it Rin?"
"It hurts my lord...." she was sweating like crazy.
"Oh god, she fainting." Kagome said.
"I smell poison, what did you do to her wench." Sesshomaru grabbed her wrist.
"Look, I might be your enemy but I'm not the bad one! Do you really think I would do this to a little girl?!" she yelled. He narrowed his eyes at her, and picked Rin up, "I can help ya know." He stopped, then continued walking, "humph! what kind of guardian are you?" that finally made him stop, he averted his head to her. Kagome smirked knowing that he needed her to help.

"Fuck! Kagome's been gone for over an hour! stupid barrier!" Inu Yasha was stupid enough to kick the invisible wall and get shocked, he pounced on one foot and held the other blowing on it, "Damn this!"
"Hey, there's no one to blame but yourself, your the one who said those things to her."
"Shut up! and why are you still here!? go back home asshole!" Inu Yasha yelled back.
"I'm here because of Kagome! I'm a friend and I care okay?!" Yusuke got off the rock balling his fist at the hanyou.
"Stop it! Even I admit it's annoying and pointless." Hiei said.
"hmh."
"Do you think Kagome's alright?" Shippou looked up at Sango.
Sango looked back down and smiled, "I'm sure she can handle herself, she's stronger than any of us.."
"What do you mean by that?" Inu Yasha narrowed his eyes.
"Oh nothing, nothing..." Sango sweatdropped.
