Chapter 2. "First Time for Everthing"
"ah-ha....that should just about do it..." Kagome took a spoonful of green liquid and place it inside Rin's mouth, "there! just one spoonful for every hour should do, for at least two days. The bite looks pretty nasty but it healing up." she told Sesshomaru. He just stared at her, "AHEM..." she 'coughed'.
"What.."
"Well?"
"..."
"WELL???"
"what..?"
"Aren't you gonna thank me?!" she yelled.
"..Why..?"
"What do you mean why??? I helped you save her!"
"You would have done it on your own anyway..."
Kagome's mouth dropped and she cupped her hips, "Well ya can at least thank me for intending to!"
"Humph, now I know how Inu Yasha feels.."
"WHAT??..please, you never could have saved her if I didn't happen to pass by and be so kind hearted."
"You are a very up tight..." He said.
"What do you mean I'm up tight?! your the one who's supposed to be uptight!" Rin shifted around a little bit, Kagome lowered the volume of her voice, "so I wouldn't be talking f I were you!"
"You are the loudest girl I've ever encountered."
"Is all you do is just throw insults at me?!"
"It's not an insult, it's a fact...you think it's an insult." he replied.
"Argh....Why am I even talking to you." she smacked her face.
"I don't know."
"Whatever, I shouldn't be hang'n around you anyway, so I'll might as well just go."she twirled away from him and started walking back, after a few steps, she turned back around and walked up to Sesshomaru.
"Yes?" he asked.
"Not that I wanna ask.....but how do I get back?"
"...." he cocked an eyebrow.
"What?! I don't have a long memory spand!"
"...I could have guessed anyway.."
"Argh! forget it! I'll find the way back myself!! I don't need you!!" she stomped off.
One hour later, "Where are you Sesshomaru I need you! Darn! me and my stubborness." Kagopme sighed, "I wanna go home...." Kagome sat on the tree stump and buried her face in her hands, "how come they aren't looking for me?........................................OHHH!!!! oh my god!! I forgot!!" Kagome jumped up and started looking around, "Okay...so how do you find your own barrier?...darn it! ummm...I know! I'll undo it first so they can hear me!..or...at least I can hear them."and so she began chanting a spell, once she was done, she looked up and started shouted out names, "INU YASHA!!! SHIPPOU!! KURAMA!! SANGO!! MIROKU!! (takes breath) KURAMA!! HIEI!! KIRARA!! YUSUKE!!!!"
No one responded.
"Damn it!!" She cursed, "I need help! where IS he when I need him most."
"Kagome!" she heard someone say.
Kagome turned around smiling, "Is it them?!" nope, just the wind.
"Awww..."
"Human.."
She turned around again smiling, but frown and sweatdropped, "Oh...it's only you....what do YOU want" she said sarcasticlly.
"Something has gone wrong. The potion's not working." Sesshomaru said.
"What? how can this be possible?"
"Come with me.." He grabbed her waist and ran back.
"But I-ahhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Kagome screamed, she was not used to the speed he moved in, "duhp...ugh......" she squeaked.
"Look"Sesshomaru pointed ahead, " Rin, she's been like this ever since you've left."
"Hah, admit it, you do need me.."

"Argh...nevermind." She went over to the little girl and touched her forehead, it was hot, "Oh no...it's a fever......Sesshomaru!!"
He stepped back suprised by the abrupt yelling.
"How could you?! don't you anything about humans?!?!....nevermind that! she's freezing! she needs warmth!"
"..."
"Fine Mr. silent! I'll take care of her!" Kagome rolled up her sleeves and cupped her waist again. After a few seconds of thinking she turned back to Sesshomaru, "Umm......do you have a blanket?"
He sweatdropped,(I know, Sesshomaru is so OOC)"What do you think?"
"Well I was just wondering ok?" she looked back at Rin and began thinking, "Hmm......we need something soft, furry, cozy.....big......fluffy.." she smirked and turned around, " Oh Sess-...hey! where'd you go?!"
"Argh..." he growled.
"Don't worry it'll only take a couple hours!" Kagome said, "besides, at least you'll tail will get warm too."
Rin snuggled against the soft fur and drifted off to sleep, "Sess......shomaru.....sama...." she mumbled, "........your soft.........."
He sweatdropped again.
"Oh come on....It's not that brutal is it..?"
"Hm."
"UGH....your so solid, you have physical and mental abilities, but not emotional.."
"What are you? a therapist?"
"Stop being so negative.....how come you never open up to anyone?"

"I swear your just like Inu Yasha..."

"I was talking about your personalities..." Kagome shrugged, "Oh well, you'll never understand..." she leaned against the rock and began sleeping. Sesshomaru eyed her coldly, he saw the features of her human face, too perfectly strange, and her body figure, too small and delicate. She looked so fragile...
He shook his thoughts of her out of his head and slept on.

"KAGOME!!!" Sesshomaru snapped his eyes open once he heard his brother's voice, "KAGOMMMEEE!!!!"
"huh?..mm...." Kagome awoke and yawned, "Well whadaya kno....they've found me...finally."
"Hm." Sesshomaru stood up carefully not to wake Rin up, and looked where the voice was coming from, " Inu Yasha has come to look for you."
"...(sigh)....I know..time to meet his big mouth." Kagome got up and dusted her butt off, "Darn, there goes my uniform. Well, anyway...I should go to them, see ya when I see ya." she waved.
"Wait."
"Huh?" she wondered, and once she turned around she found Sesshomaru staring back at her, "What?"
"...I just wanted to say....thank you.......for your help."
"Heh, no biggie. I would have done it anyway right?" Kagome smiled back, it was them she was taken by surprise, Sesshomaru used his demon speed and kissed her small lips gentally for the longest time, it seemed like an eternity for her.
When he let go, she was still wide-eyed, "....eh?...." she squeaked.
Sesshomaru looked at her a few seconds more and then disappeared along with Rin.
"Kagome!!!" Inu Yasha called jumping out of the bushes, then ran to her, "Kagome! Where were you?! Do you know how worried I was?"
She turned to meet his face, ".....eh?....." she squeaked again.
".....wait a minute.....I smell, Sesshomaru, Kagome! are you okay?! did he do anything to you?!" he held her shoulders.
".....eh?....."
"....?"
".......eh?....."
".....nevermind" Inu Yasha carried her and ran back to the others.

".....Kagome?....I think he brainwashed her.." Yusuke said.
"Most likely not, Sesshomaru could never attempt to do that." Kurama said.

Kurama scratched his head, "she looks....love struck..."

"Nevermind, Kagome?...what happened?can you tell me? did he hurt you?" Inu Yasha calmly asked.

"I....um....I....I.....went to take a walk, and then...I saw a little girl, she got stung, and then Sesshomaru came, I think he was the care taker." Kagome continued, " Anyway, I wanted to help him-I mean, her. And so after that, I left to find my way back, but I couldn't. So I let down the barrier so you guys can hear me, but after that Sesshomaru came to me, he said that Rin, the girl, was sick, and she was. So I stayed with her the whole night. Then I heard you calling me after an hour or so, Sesshomaru thanked me, and then...."
"And then...?" Inu Yasha got closer.
"He..."
"He..?"
"(gasp!)...I mean nothing! he just thanked me! that's all." she sweatdropped.
They all fell to the ground anime style, and sweatdropped too.
"Wow...what suspension." Hiei commented.
"Eheh...ahem...anyhoo, I think we should get going."
"To where?"
"Hm, good question." Kagome cupped her chin.
While the conversation was on Inu Yasha kept looking at Kagome, thinking somethings not right, Sesshomaru must have done SOMETHING to her, he could still smell the scent on her, how could he have gotten so close?
