Chapter 5: Will Sesshomaru live

 

 

 

 

Kagome kept running as she thought only of Sesshomaru living. Tears started streaming down her face at the thought of losing him. He used to be an enemy but she had learned that he must of had a good side including he saved her. He kept her alive from the falling cliff so she can keep him alive. Kagome was so caught up in thinking she forgot about her wounded leg as she continued to run.

 

 

~~~~~~~~~~~~~SIX HOURS LATER~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

 

Kagome had finally arived at Kaede's village when she spotted Shippo at the river.

 

 

"Shippo," Kagome yelled as the young kit instantly turned around and ran to Kagome.

 

 

"Mommy," Shippo yelled as he jumped in Kagome's arms, "I was so worried about you."

 

 

"Where is Miroku and Sango?"

 

 

"I think they are by that tree, so what happened last night," Shippo said pointing to a huge tree acrossed the village.

 

 

"I will explain that later where is my bag?" Kagome asked.

 

 

"Right there," Shippo said pointing to a spot beside a hut.

 

 

"Thank you I will be back soon okay." With that said Kagome sat Shippo down and ran towards Sango and Miroku.

 

 

When she reached them they looked at her in shock as Sango said, "Kagome what is with the change of clothes and what happened to your leg."

 

 

"It is a long story but can I please borrow Kirara," Kagome pleaded.

 

 

"Sure but why?" Sango asked.

 

 

"I will explain later thanks," Kagome said as Kirara transformed into her big form and Kagome got on her back as she flew away.

 

 

"Kirara we must hurry," Kagome told the neko youkai. After about an hour of flying Kirara finally came upon the small clearing and Sesshomaru who was leaning up against the tree.

 

 

"Kirara there land beside Sesshomaru," Kagome ordered the cat. Yet in though Kirara thought Kagome was crazy she still did so. Kagome then got off and ran to Sesshomaru's side who was leaning against a tree. Kagome then looked in her bag and dug out her first aid kit as she looked at Sesshomaru who was looking at the tear stains on Kagome's face with his cold emotionless eyes hiding the pain in them.

 

 

"Sesshomaru please let me help you," Kagome said with worry in her eyes.

 

 

"Why were you crying," Sesshomaru said out of curiousity.

 

 

"Because I thought you were going to die," Kagome whispered back as she seen shock flash on Sesshomaru's face.

 

 

`She was worried about me' Sesshomaru thought to himself.

 

 

"Could you lean up some?" Kagome asked. Surprisingly Sesshomaru did so with a small grunt as Kagome pulled down his haori to reveil a huge dash on his chest. Kagome gasped at seeing this she knew the sword penetrated his skin but she didn't think the gash was that big. Kagome instantly removed a wash cloth from her bag along with some rubbing alcohol to clean the wound.

 

 

"Sesshomaru this will sting okay," Kagome said as Sesshomaru nodded. Kagome then put some rubbing alcohol on the wash clothe and dabbed the wound as Sesshomaru winced. Kagome kept gently dabbing the wound. She then dabbed the center of it as Sesshomaru grunted loud and grabbed her arm.

 

 

"I am sorry," Kagome said as she looked at Sesshomaru who soon after released her.

 

 

"You may continue," Sesshomaru said as he let her finish cleaning the wound. Kagome then pulled some gauze out of her bag as she wrapped around Sesshomaru's chest covering the wound. After Kagome was done she pulled Sesshomaru's haori back on and returned her items to her bag.

 

 

"Tell me why is it that you care so much after I have tried to kill Inuyasha and you so many times," Sesshomaru said looking away.

 

 

"You saved mines so I had to return the favor besides no matter how much you have tried to kill Inuyasha or me I and still in your grace. If it weren't for you I wouldn't be alive right now," Kagome explained.

 

 

"What about your leg," Sesshomaru said.

 

 

"Oh I forgot about it I guess I should take care of that too," Kagome said as she pulled out a different wash clothaand the same rubbing alcohol as she did the same to her leg as she did Sesshomaru's chest. Afterward she leaned against the same tree Sesshomaru was leaning on as he looked at her for a few seconds.

 

 

"We should stay here for the night you shouldn't be moving around much since your condition," Kagome said.

 

 

`Why does she even care' Sesshomaru thought.

 

 

"Sesshomaru can you do me a favor," Kagome said.

 

 

"What is it."

 

 

"Don't ever scare me like that again you had me worried," Kagome as she wrapped her arms around him crying in his neck. Sesshomaru sat there shocked not even thinking a human would attempt to do such a thing.

 

 

"Don't worry," Sesshomaru said after he recovered from shock.

 

 

`Wait what did he say' Kagome thought to herself.

 

 

`Have I lost my mind what did I say' Sesshomaru thought to himself weirdly.

 

 

"Thank you," Kagome said.

 

 

"For what," Sesshomaru answered confused.

 

 

"For not calling me a weak human and rejecting me," Kagome said.

 

 

`Why am I allowing this human to hang on to me why do I feel at peace around her why?'

 

 

"Sesshomaru may I ask you a question," Kagome said lifting off his shoulder and looking him in the eyes.

 

 

"What is it," Sesshomaru responded.

 

 

"Do you mind if I stay with you forever," Kagome said. Sesshomaru was shocked at hearing this but before he could respond he started growling and Inuyasha showed up.
