Chapter 2
Once they had got to the main house of the shrine Yusuke said “Now I know I've seen this place.” The rest of the crew had stared at him. “What the hell are you talking about Urameshi? If you knew about this place why didn't you say anything before?” Kuwabara surprisingly asked a smart question. As Yusuke was about to open his mouth he was interrupted by a friendly voice. “Yusuke? Is that you? I haven't seen you in years! Look how much you've grown!” (If anyone can guess who this is I'll give you a cookie)
“Aunty Kun-Loon? Is that you?” Asked a slightly confused Yusuke. “Yusuke, do you know this lady?” Asked Kuwabara. “Yeah, I do but I haven't seen her in years.” “Hello Ma'am but may we have a tour of the shrine?” Asked the smarter red head of the group. “Sure but that's in my daughters department. How have you and your mother been Yusuke?” “Were good except my moms still a drunk as usual. How have you and Kagome been?” Asked Yusuke. “Oh your cousins fine. She's been really sick before but lately she's been feeling better.”
Kun-loon had then told Yusuke that she would get Kagome to do the tour of the Shrine. With that she had left the group. “You never told me our mission involves your cousin.” The rest had looked at him, waiting for an answer. “Ano… Hey look it's the kitsune kit!” They had all turned to see at the house there was a young auburn haired boy at the door peeking at them.
Just as they saw him he had went back into the house and then the youkai aura was soon gone and replaced by a human one. Just as they had felt the human aura being masked by a fake human one the boy came out the door once more and looked at the boy's. “Who are you?” He asked shyly. “Hello there. My name is Kurama, the boy next to me is Yusuke and the other boy is Kuwabara.”
“Hello!MynameisShippo!Whatareyoudoinghere?A reyoulookingformymama?She'sinsiderightnowandsheisrellypretty!Kurama,areyoua kitsunelikeme?Youfeellikeakitsune.Areyougonnabemynewdad? Shippo said that all in one breath and was now panting hard. (Translation: Hello! My name is Shippo! What are you doing here? Are you looking for my mama? She's inside and she's really pretty! Kurama, are you a kitsune like me? You smell like a kitsune to me. Are you gonna be my new dad?) Kurama was at a loss of words. `Now why would this child ask something like that.' There was a silence and them Yusuke and Kuwabara burst into laughter. Kurama gave them a cold glare.
~Huh… What's making the idiots laugh red?~
*The child asked if I would be his dad and said that his mom was in the house*
~…~ After the silence Youko started to laugh.
~I think that this girl might be one of your fans and made her little brother do this don't you think?~

~Well Hellooooooooo!~
Just as Shuichi was about to reply a girl about their age came out looking a bit worried. “Shippo! There you are! I was looking everywhere for you. Do you know how worried I was!” The young woman scolded. “Kagome? Is that you?” Yusuke had taken one look at her eyes and know instantly that this was his cousin. The unique blue gave it away. “Yusuke? Oh my Kami. I haven't seen you since we were 6.” “I know-” Just as Yusuke was about to say how she had been. Kuwabara had interrupted and was on one knee. “Oh pretty lady. Will you be my girlfriend?” Once Kagome had heard this out of natural reflex from being around a perverted houshi too much she slapped him. Hard.
“Oh my gosh! Are you ok? I'm sorry. I swear it was out of natural reflex.” Yusuke, Kurama and Hiei were shocked at how hard she hit. They were at the very edge of one part of the shrine and Kuwabara was on the other side. “Mama, I think we have another Miroku now.” “Yeah baby, I know.” Yusuke turned his head from Kuwabara to Kagome so fast that he had a whiplash. “Ow! What was that the kid said? Mama. Ok Kagome, tell me who's the father so I can kill him then bring him back to life and kill him again.” Yusuke was so angry. In Kurama's mind Youko was ranting the same thing that Yusuke was.
“Yusuke. This isn't my real son. I adopted him. And what are you doing here?” Kagome gave him the `tell me of I'll castrate you' look. “We were looking to see if we can get a tour here.” Kurama had said smoothly. “Oh. Well my name is Kagome what's yours?” “I'm Kurama, the one you slapped across the shrine was Kuwabara and you already know your cousin.” “Okay, you told me almost everyone. Mind telling me who the firecracker in the tree is?” Kagome asked casually. They were speechless. No one has ever sensed Hiei when he masked his energy.
Hiei had got out of the tree and attacked Kagome with his katana. Kagome already sensing the oncoming attack had taken out a kunai and blocked the attack. “Ok Yusuke. You got some explaining to do. Why did you bring a youkai that would attack your dear cousin? I already know that Kurama houses the soul of Youko Kurama and a Human soul. You, Yusuke have a lot of spirit energy in you. What's his face that I slapped has spirit energy and a very strong sixth sense and the guy in front of me is a fire apparition.”
They were shocked silent. `How does she know this?' Yusuke had asked himself.
Kagome did a back-flip and had put her kunai back and took out her katana. “Come on short stuff. Let's dance.” Once she finished saying that Hiei charged at her. She just stood there. Once Hiei got close he was blasted back by a barrier. He was now unconscious. “Opps. Too much energy.”
Shippo had then jumped at Kagome and was now being held by her. “Come on Yusuke. Get your friends and we can talk in the house. I'm sure you have a few questions.” With that said she had retreated back into the house. Kurama and Yusuke had gone and get Hiei and Kuwabara into the house.
