Hi! This is my first try at a Youko/Kagome fic.

Alright, Youko is way different from Inuyasha. He won't hit Shippou and is a lot colder, like Sesshoumaru. Youko is half-kitsune and half-dog demon. He wants to steal the `Shikon No Tama' to become full kitsune. Of course he can still manipulate plants perfectly and still looks like a kitsune form. This is the same as the Inuyasha series, just revised a bit to make Youko fit. Oh, and Youko doesn't love Kikyou, only as a friend. Kikyou on the other hand sees it differently.

Hiei: Am I going to be in this fic?

HIMF: Maybe, maybe not. You'll just have to wait and see.

Hiei: Hn.

HMF: Could you say the disclaimer, Kurama.

Kurama: Aa, HIMF does not own Inuyasha or YuYu Hakusho.

HIMF: Thank you! Although I wish I did, so I could make Kurama and Kagome a couple. I would also torture Kikyou every chance I got. Although she already died again in episode 124. Whoops! Shouldn't have told you that. ^^' Well since I just did, I'll tell you who she died from. Naraku when he doesn't have Ogunimo's heart. Now on with the fic!

The Girl Who Overcame Time…. And The Fox Who Was Sealed Away

People ran from a silver fox demon. Screaming for their lives as the demon came nearer to the town.

" It's Youko Kurama! " yelled a frightened villager.

" Protect the `Shikon No Tama'! " yelled another.

Youko broke through the holds of a net the village men had covered him in. He snickered to himself knowing they didn't stand a chance.

" Hehehe. "

Youko was there for a reason. He wouldn't steal from a wimpy village unless it held something very valuable. The reason was because of the sacred jewel that gave you one wish and would grant it. Or to insert in yourself to make you much stronger. This proved valuable to demons of all kinds. As he raced through the burning village he came upon a temple. Youko shot straight up and landed on the roof breaking it. He rose up slowly, covering his face from the smoke. He spotted the jewel in the middle of the room unguarded. He smirked and grabbed it.

Village men burst into the room armed with bows and arrows, spears, and anything useful enough to take down the fox demon. They threw the spears at him, missing every try.

Youko reached into his hair, he found his seed of a rose. As he took out the rose from his hair, he extended his arm. Channeling his energy into it.

" What are you going to do with a rose? " laughed a villager. " Make us all die from the beauty! " (I know, crappy sentence)

" No, but I will do this. ROSE WHIP!! " Youko yelled.

His rose had become a whip-like weapon. The whip had sharp thorns on it, making it able to penetrate through even steel. Youko lashed out at the village men with a flick of his wrist. The men had been sliced in several places. Blood splattered around the room.

The clever fox jumped making another hole in the roof of the temple. As he made his way out, the temple exploded. He dodged flying pieces as he came to the entrance murmuring to himself.

" With this I can become full kitsune, instead of half-kitsune and half-dog. "

Kikyou, the miko of the village and protector of the `Shikon No Tama' walked toward where Youko would be. Her left arm was covered in blood after Youko purposely hurt her in the open field.

Kikyou readied her bow and arrow. She pointed the arrow at her target, Youko. As he came past a tree, she let her arrow fly. A pink glow emitting from it as a concealment seal was put on.

Youko didn't know what had hit him. The great thief, feared by many, never caught, had been shot! By a human none the less. His left shoulder pierced by an arrow, pinning him to a tree. Youko looked up and saw Kikyou on the stairs of the village, the one who betrayed and attacked him earlier that day. Her eyes held rage and hate directed at him.

Youko had dropped the Shikon jewel and held his hand up. His mouth opening to say something.

" Ki-Kiyou……. you……….. bitch………. how dare you? " his last words spoken, he then let his hand drop by his side. Youko's eyes closed shut, making him appear as though he was sleeping peacefully . The concealment had worked.

Kikyou limped down the stairs toward the Shikon jewel carrying her bow along with her. She dropped to her knees and picked up the jewel, that caused so much destruction. She was exhaughsted after using the last of her miko powers.

" Onee-san! " yelled a little girl with black hair and a bandage over her right eye. The girl ran to her sister's aid in a flash.

Kikyou looked up at her younger sister. Pain shot through her as she moved.

" Onee-san, we need to get your wound treated! "

" It's to late. This is……. what I get……. for that…….. experience. " Kikyou winced in pain as she clutched the jewel to her. " Kaede… I… want you to burn this with my remains. That way…. no more evil will be created…. By this jewel. " (Okay, so that wasn't the real sentence but I tried to remember)

Kikyou fell to the ground eyes closing slowly as darkness overwhelmed her.

" Onee-sannn!! " Kaede screamed, as tears welled up in her eyes.

Villagers gathered around Kikyou and the crying child. They said their prayers as other comforted Kaede.

As Kikyou was burned with `Shikon No Tama' as she wished, she said something to herself. ` I will take you with me to hell. `
