Serenity and Hiei drove home. While driving in the road, Hiei realized Serenity looked sad and troubled.

"What's the matter Serenity?You look troubled." Serenity woke up from her trance and realized Hiei had just asked her a question.

"Oh,nothing...I just got scared by Seto's threat."

Hiei watched and replied,"what are you talking about he's in jail now he's never gonna get near you ever again. Besides Im here.I promise to always protect you."

"Yeah your right,Thank you Hiei."

Then theypassed through the park. Serenity spotted it and told Hiei to stop the car. They decided to take a walk there and relieve some stress. Of course after all that's happened that day.

They strolled through the park holding each other's hands. They really looked like lovers.

Then Serenity stopped.

"what's the matter?"Hiei asked,"why did you stop?"

Serenity walked to a tree and placed her hand on it. She turned around and faced Hiei.

"This was the same excact same place i found you."

Hiei walked in front of the tree and thought of the memories again. He was starting to remamber again.He didn't want to. He wasn't lonely anymore he was happy now. He didn't need Yukina and Kurama in his life anymore. He looked down,he held back a sob trying to hold back from crying. Serenity watched him and realized she made him sad.

Please Hiei,tell me.....what happened?I want to know why you ended up here."Serenity whispered.

Hiei placed his hands over his eyes as all the memories came back. It was going to be hard to tell it but since he loved Serenity now,he needed to tell her..but he wasn't sure about revealing his third eyes yet.

"It was 50 years ago. I died and had to get my sister pregnant before dawn or else I would never exist. After that I was betrayed by the two people I loved and cared the most about in my life.Until i was trapped to this tree by a woman who thought i betrayed her...when I didn't even know her. So you see, your lucky at least you had someone caring about you as you were growing up."

"who do you mean?"

"you know your parents,at least they were always there for you always caring for you never betraying you."

Serenity laughed."WHAT! sure they care about me but I hate them."

Hiei was shocked at her words,"why?"

"I don't know why,I guess you might just say that's the kind of person I am. I cant put aside our differences. My parents are well....different."

Hiei realized it was time to end their little conversation. He kissed her gently and whispered in her ears,"let's go home."
