"Well Miss Serenity," the doctor said after examining the test results,"There's no doubt about it, you are pregnant."

Serenity's face beamed with joy, finally her wish was coming true. She could finally start a family with the man she loves, Hiei. She couldn't wait to get home and tell him the good news. She walked to the door and got ready to leave the room, she was suddenly stopped when the doctor said," Wait,Miss Serenity,"

Serenity turned her head to face the doctor.

"Um...I was just going to ask if you wanted to find out when your baby was concieved."

Serenity thought about the question, she had sex with Hiei everyday so it wasn't really important what day she got pregnant. Finally she thought she had the time so she took a seat and waited patiently for the doctoer to proceed.

"Thanks to our new technology," the doctor said," I just put your test results here in this machine and it shows up in the computer."

The doctor started typing and clicking the mouse. Serenity tapped her foot and watched her watch. She fidgeted and just wanted to tell Hiei about the great news already.

"AAAHH! here it is," the doctor proceeded," your baby was concieved on the night of January 14."

Serenity jumped up from her seat and screamed," WWHHAATT!!! are you sure that it's accurate?"

"Yup, one hundred percent accurate."

Serenity started pacing around the room, covering her ears and closing her eyes.

"Um.. is something wrong Miss Serenity?"

Serenity ran out the room and slammed the door behind her. She ran down the stairs cursing at herself of how stupid she was," Serenity...Your soo stupid! How could you do it! why did you do it!! Your SO STUPID!!"

She exited the hospital and got ready to go to the parking lot. She suddenly stopped when she found Dukedevlin standing by the sidewalk, smoking. he spotted her and walked towards her.

"DAMN," Serenity cursed under her breath.

" Oh um...Hi Serenity what were you doing in the hospital?"

"What are YOU doing here?" she replied.

" Oh..well I work there part time janitor... and anyways you still didn't answer my question."

Serenity looked down for a long time. Dukedevlin watched her and waited.

"IM PREGNANT!" she snapped.

Dukedevlin's eyes showed surprise then to sadness. As soon as she heard her say these words, he felt as though his whole world just ended. He knew it was impossible to get Serenity back. Now she was pregnant with Hiei's baby and it would be impossible to get her love back now. This was the one moment in his life he felt at the point of tears.

"oh....," he replied sadly," well....goodbye Serenity... I hope your happy with your future family."

He hunched down and kept his head down, trying to hold back the tears, he would never be able to see her again.

" YOUR the Father." Serenity said from behind him.

Dukedevlin looked up and faced her," Really?"

Serenity nodded quietly, it happened during that night when she got mad at Hiei. She went to the bar really feeling depressed but after hearing Dukedevlin sing her the song DESPERADO, she was lost in his touch.

Dukedevlin jumped for joy," YOO-HOO!! Im going to be a father!!Im going to be a father!"

Serenity just stood and watched him, now what was she going to do? She loved Hiei, but yet...this was a true disgrace to their love. If he ever found out, he would be heartbroken. She decided that if she truly loved Hiei, then she had only one choice.
