Prologue

Blood. Everywhere you look, you can't escape the crimson liquid, slowly seeping from lifeless corpses rotting on the ground.

A small girl with light blonde hair runs blindly through the masses of creatures, every once and a while tripping over the strewn bodies. She glances up in time to witness a tall man withdrawing a protruding piece of metal from a blonde woman. Suddenly, the woman's fox ears twitch, and she lifts her head ever so slowly. The girl looks her in the eyes, too much in shock to do anything otherwise. "Run." Was all the woman managed to whisper before she slumped forward onto the ground, next to a silver haired man with wolf ears.

You woke up with a start. Not knowing the time, you reach over to grab your watch which is placed ever so conveniently at the side of your bed. (You've broken too many alarm clocks, and decided that your watch is better. It can survive your wrath in the morning…XD) But that liquid, that crimson liquid stains your perfect hands, as it drips from your fingers to the floor. Upon seeing the droplets, you scream. Everything appears to be going in slow motion as you feel yourself falling back into your bed, and everything goes black.

YAY! I finally decided to start posting my story. It's just the prologue, but at least it's a start! I should have chapter one posted later on tonight or tomorrow. Review, and tell me what you think so far!
